The brewery was founded in 1903 by German settlers in Qingdao, China, and since then it has become the most popular Chinese brew in the United States. Every August, Qingdao hosts the International Beer Festival, a two-week-long party which features parades, fireworks, and, of course, a lot of beer drinking.
