When 1979
Photographer David Alan Harvey

Perched delicately atop a branch, this white ibis is one of many waterfowl that wade within the wetlands of Everglades National Park. Using its long beak, the ibis trawls for its food, which mainly consists of crawfish and other small crustaceans.
