Photographer Robert F. Sisson

In its species' northernmost location in Utah's Zion National Park, a canyon tree frog finds respite on a rock. Despite its name, canyon tree frogs live mostly on the ground.

(Photograph shot on assignment for, but not published in, "Tide Pools: Windows Between Land and Sea," February 1986, National Geographic magazine)

Animal-Shaped Candles
These 3-D animals are appealingly realistic and reminiscent of shots you've seen in National Geographic. Each candle is individually sculpted and hand-painted. Only the inside melts, preserving the animal sculpture. Choose a lion, an elephant, or a giraffe!
