"Boxers train in the martial art of Muay Thai, a style of fighting that has been with the Thai people for hundreds of years. Many Thais begin training at the age of 7 or 8, with the dream of one day fighting at Lumpini or Ratchadamnoen, the most famous stadium in the country."

(Photograph shot on assignment for, but not published in, "The Many Faces of Thailand," February 1996, National Geographic magazine)
