I have instead written about where the weapons are and gave pointers on where you should go. There is also help for the hard parts. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- *********** 2. Level Guides *********** Level 1 - The Hub Ruins The main thing about this level is to get used to the controls. On this level you should upgrade you knife to (1) bow and arrow, (2) pistol and (3) shotgun. You should try and collect all the keys to help you later on. There are three keys in this level. The first is in the caves beyond the Chronoscepter. The second is on a floating platform in the lava pools cave. The third is at the top of one of the ruined pyramids. At the start just stab the bad guys until you collect some arrows. To change weapons I think it is by pressing select and a direction on the D-pad. Keep alert for frontal attacks and weapons fired at you from above. Nearly all of the health bonuses and life forces are in the caves. Level 2 - The Jungle Make full use of the shotgun that you collect at the start. The better auto-shotgun is high up and you get it by following the platforms and teleport gates. Go in to the first cave and head on through to the teleport, gradually making you way up the platforms to the right. In the houses on the third platform level you will find life forces, bullets, arrows and the first key. There is also a health bonus in the water there - which you will probably need. After that there is a leaping test to the temple where you must operate two switches to get the second key, then head left up on the cliffs, collect the auto-shotgun. The third key is on the way back down to the tunnels. Like on Level 1 you can't get the Chronoscepter without a move powerful weapon, so return here later to get it. For now head back to the hub. Level 3 - Ancient City In this level you will have to activate switches to open the teleport gates. In this level you will also not be able to get to Chronoscepter piece until after you have better weaponry. In the first hut hit the switch so you can operate teleport gates later on. When you emerge on the rooftops leap left, firing as you go, and teleport gate you go through will teleport you to the top of a series of walls. The first key is on the second wall on a lower platform on the right. Back out on the rooftops there are soldiers firing from the hut roof so take care. Drop down left, enter the hut and dive into the pool there. The key here is on the platform to the very right of the pool and the pool contains plenty of critters that want you not to get it, so ready your knife and carve them all up. There is also a health bonus at the bottom if you need it and more life bonuses too. To get the third key you will need more firepower. Go to the topmost roof and through the transporter. Collect the gun at the end of the passage and press the switch to activate the last gate. Come back out and through the gate on the roof to the left. The key is well guarded and you will find it at the end of the passage to the right. From there go back to the hub and on to level 4. Level 4 - The Ruins This level has more insects than a can of fly spray can kill. There are also the usual dudes as well. Perfecting your jumping is a must. It is all too easy to die by miss timing a jump or being bitten by a mozzie. In this level you will get the grenade launcher so you can go back and get the Chronoscepter pieces. At the start you will find the grenade launcher by going left, climbing up and leaping left to the end. There are dinos and mozzies on the way so if you need health, there is some just below the grenade launcher. Back to the start and head right. You can't reach the platforms so keep going right, climb up, collect the gun and then leap back whilst running to get to the teleport gate. There are pools in the caves and heaps of mozzies, so head right, collect the health bonus and life forces before going left and through the first pool. There are even more insects in the next area. Go left and through the cave door to find the first key, but enter firing because it is well protected. Back out and go right to the end cave door, swim through another pool to a teleport gate and you'll find yourself back outside. High up are more health bonuses, and if you go right, firing as you go, you will safely pass through another teleport gate. This area contains the next key (near the bottom right) and an elevating shaft. At the top of the shaft on the left you will find more guns, but take care as you leap across. Head out from the top right platform, and leap across the next platforms to a gate at the end, near to the final key. The Chronoscepter piece is behind a wall in the caves, near one of the pools. Once you have collected it you can return to the Hub and go back and get the first three pieces. Level 5 - The Catacombs ***UNDER CONSTRUCTION*** In the Catacombs you will have to avoid falling rocks, crawl under swinging axes. Also, when you are about to go into really tight places switch to you knife so you can kill the rats you meet. Level 6 - Treetop Village ***UNDER CONSTRUCTION*** You will meet yet more annoying mozzies on this level. You should have brought along insect repellent, but guns and knifes will have to do. Level 7 - Lost Land ***UNDER CONSTRUCTION*** Rising and falling platforms and others that fall from under your feet are hazards here. Jump quickly across platforms that stand still or you will fall with them. While crossing moving platforms the tricks is to jump from on when it reaches its highest point to land on the next as it is dropping. Level 8 - Final Confrontation Ready you weapons as you go through the Hub gate because there is a guard waiting and you are fired on as soon as you start. If you have had trouble so far, then this level may be too much! Every few steps there is opposition to kill. Jumping and firing can kill guards up high. Travel along to teleporter and you will find yourself in the temple. Some life force can be collected along the way and the weapons you gather will be very useful. Making your way through the temple is pretty straightforward, as long as you don't run out of ammo. Just keep going and then you will fight the BIGGEST dinosaur of them all. Just mow this dino with everything you've got! After defeating this colossal fossil it is plain sailing until you reach the lair of the Campaigner. Here at last the Chronoscepter comes into use. Shot with that and then with any other weapons you have ammo left for. Well there you go, I hope you kick the Campaigner's ass so hard he will be s#$%ing out his mouth!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ****** 3.
