Hex Mine is a hexagonal version of the game where you lose if you step
on a mined tile.
To win, tap all the unmined tiles.
There is no scoring in this game, but there is a timer that tells how long you took to finish.

The shareware is the entire game, except for recording.

You must have a handheld with PalmOS Version 2.0 or greater.
To find your version, go to the menu on the handheld chooser, pick Info,
and then tap Version. The PalmOS Version is the first shown.
To install Hex Mine:
On your big computer, click on files until you get to a file called
hexprc.zip
Unzip it. You may need Winzip to do this (use Extract)
Now look for to file hex.prc
Click on hex.prc or double-click it, or somehow get it to be installed on
your handheld device.
HotSync as usual.
To win Hex Mine, tap all the unmined tiles without tapping any mined tiles.
Tapping a mined blows it up and loses the game. The first tile you tap is never mined.
Tapping an unmined tile shows how many mined tiles are next to it--from zero to six:

When you tap a tile with no mined neighbors, all the neighboring tiles are automatically tapped too.
You can Mark a tile by pressing it and then sliding off the tile before lifting the stylus.
Also do this to unmark a marked tile.
The left number shows how many unmined untapped tiles remain.
Near the end of the game, this number can help you strategically.
The right number shows how many seconds this game has taken.
For each playing field, the fastest time and when that game was played are recorded.
The little circle between the numbers is the New Game button.
The drop-list lets you choose a Playing Field. The fields are:

Tap the Hot Sync program on your handheld.
The name is shown at the upper-left. of the Hot Sync screen.
The name also appears in the PC program you use to sync.
