=i. Introduction & Version History=
=---------------------------------=
Hello, first I want to thank you all for reading this, I mean there is
only 1 other FAQ for this excellent, outstanding, magnificent, and any
other good work you can think of, title! The "Game & Watch Gallery" series
began I believe in 1997 with the first Game & Watch Gallery game, it
then followed by Game & Watch Gallery 2 which was for both the Gamboy
AND the Gameboy Color, now the newest game in the series, Game & Watch
Gallery 3, which is specifically made for the Gameboy CoLoR as well as
the Gameboy (Thanks Greg :)!

For those new to the Game & Watch Gallery games, let me give you a feel
of what they are. Game & Watch was created by Nintendo and the first game
relatively close to it was the "Gameboy Gallery" from the years 1980, 1983
and 1994. This game was for the Gameboy as well as the Super Gameboy on
the SuperNES. Then followed a NEW game named "Game & Watch Gallery" which
was made in 1997, then followed 2 and now the best one of all 3.

Now a description of the game. Game & Watch consists of 2 things, Games
and Watching! Basically you play several "Mini-Games" if you may and try
to earn Stars. In G&W Gallery 3, you can earn up to 120 Stars. To earn stars
you must get up to certain levels in each game. To start out with you
only get a couple of Mini-games to start with, but as you progress through
the game you will get a lot of secret games by collecting stars in the
default games you start with.

While playing the games, you are unable to determine how many stars you
have acquired but the more points you get in a game the more stars you will
get. So far in this game I have 25 stars and my best score is 1,200. This
is just the first part of the game, there is also a "Watching" part of the
game. While playing, there is a separate area of the game called the "Gallery".
The Gallery is an area where buildings are going to be built, as you get
enough stars more and more buildings will be built, there are a few buildings
you can visit (See Buildings). Each building has it's own purpose, for
example the Gallery is where you would "Watch" demos of previous games in
past Game & Watch games, and the "Music Hall" is of course where you can
listen to music. See the Buildings section in my FAQ to see how many stars
you will need to open each building and what the building has in it.

Now that you sort of get the feel of Game & Watch Gallery, it's time for
you to play. Hopefully with this FAQ you will become one of the best
darn G&W Gallery player ever. This game is one of the best made and I can't
wait until the 4th edition of the game will be released, if it ever will
be made. Anyway, good luck with the game, and here's my FAQ to help you
along your way...

=II. The Buildings=
=-----------------=
All of these buildings are in the "Gallery" Area of the game. To get
there: On the Title screen select "View Gallery" to be taken to where
the Gallery is located. As you collect stars, more and more buildings
will be constructed for you. There are a total of 5 buildings as far
as I know of, and here are each of them...

MUSIC ROOM:
------------
*Stars Needed* - 5

*Description* - This is the music Room, once you collect 5 stars you
will be able to access it. In here there is a band consisting of:
Toad, Peach & Yoshi. As you collect more buildings and games those new
songs will be added to the list. Basically this is just a Sound Test
for the game, here are the playable songs I have so far:

G&W Gallery 3
Egg
Green House
Turtle Bridge
Mario Bros.
Donkey Kong Jr. I
Donkey Kong Jr. II
Donkey Kong Jr. III
Game Select
Mode Select
Gallery Corner
Note Board
Museum
Gift
Secrets

There are probably more songs playable here and I'll add them to the
list as I get them, but so far those are all the ones I have. Listen
to some of these, they have some pretty cool tunes!

MUSEUM:
--------
Well, the Museum is exactly what it says: A Museum :p

are a bunch of viewable games here, so far I have only gotten 2, and here

So far, those are the only viewable games I have received in the Museum, see
Stars for more info. on when you get each one. I will add to this list when
I get more viewable demos.

GIFT:
------
This is the Gift Shop. No, there aren't any gifts available for buying
here, other than secret games! As you collect more and more stars you will
be able to buy more and more secret games, so far I have only been able
to afford 2 secret games, for all the secret games, check out the "Secret
Games" Section of my FAQ.

Oh and btw, Peach is the owner and runner of this shop, when you don't
have enough stars she will tell you to collect more (See Stars for how
many you will need for each game.)

NOTE BOARD:
------------
This is the Note Board! It is a mushroom shaped building where all of
your new and previously viewed messages are. This is a very useful
place to visit if you need to basic tips on gameplay, or just about
any other thing in the game. New messages will have a picture of an
envelope next to them. So far here are all of the messages I have gotten...

=----------------=
=III. Basic Games=
=----------------=
These are all of the games that are playable when you first start the
game, I have included my Description of the game, the controls of
the game, and my high score for each game...

EGG:
-----
Controls: A Button - Diagnol
          B Button - Diagnol
          Up on D-Pad - Up
          Down on D-Pad - Down
          Left on D-Pad - Left
          Right on D-Pad - Right
          Start Button - Pause

MY Description: Egg is a great game! You goal is to eat up the goodies
that Mario is making before they get burnt up and fall to the floor.
Yoshi is in the middle of the screen and is surrounded by 4 ramps. 2 on
the top and 2 on the bottom. Mario throws his baked goods down the ramps
and they cook very quicly as the go down the ramp. Yoshi (You) must eat
all of the goodies as they come down the ramps. Watch out for bombs, if
you eat them it will result in a "Miss".

My Best score for this game: 887 Pts.

GREENHOUSE:
------------
Controls: A Button - Attack
          B Button - Attack
          Up on D-Pad - Up
          Down on D-Pad - Down
          Left on D-Pad - Left
          Right on D-Pad - Right
          Start Button - Pause

MY Description: This game is VERY fun. You are yoshi and your goal is
to grow your plants so they become healthy and strong, however, some
baddies are trying to ruin your plants for you. Shy Guys are on the
top screen and squirrels are below. Kill the enemies before they manage
to squash your pretty plants. Collect watermelon pieces while doing
this as well, they will increase yours score.

My Best score for this game: 1,216 Pts.

TURTLE BRIDGE:
---------------
Controls: A Button - Right
          B Button - Left
          Up on D-Pad - Up
          Down on D-Pad - Down
          Left on D-Pad - Left
          Right on D-Pad - Right
          Start Button - Pause

MY Description: This is probably my least favorite game out of them all.
For some reason I just didn't get into it. You (Toad) are a sort of
"Delievery Man". Mario gives you items and you hop across a bunch of
birds and deliver it to Peach. There are 2 rows of coins you can get on
your way too. However, as you start progressing the birds will fly out from
under you to pop balloons, this is probably what ruined the game for me.
But then again, everyone has their own opinions.

My Best score for this game: 272 Pts. (I don't play much)

MARIO BROS.:
-------------
Controls: A Button - Mario Up
          B Button - Mario Down
Up on D-Pad - Luigi Up
Down on D-Pad - Luigi Down
          Left on D-Pad - N/A
          Right on D-Pad - N/A
          Start Button - Pause

MY Description: Not one of the funnest ones In my opinion, but still
pretty fun. Mario and Luigi are both running a pie shipping business.
The pies are delivered down pipes and must go to the top and thrown
onto the back of the delivery truck. However, Mario and Luigi must
deal with many things, such as too many pies at once, conveyer belts
switching directions and other things. If it weren't for the excessive
toughness of this game I would've liked it better, but it's a little
too challenging once you get pretty far. If you collect 5 stars (you
get 1 star for every full truckload) you get some bonus or something.

My Best score for this game: 595 Pts.

DONKEY KONG JR.:
-----------------
Controls: A Button - Jump
          B Button - Jump
          Up on D-Pad - Up
          Down on D-Pad - Down
          Left on D-Pad - Left
          Right on D-Pad - Right
          Start Button - Pause

MY Description: Another pretty fun game, you are DK Jr. and you are trying
to rescue your father (Big DK) who has been captured and locked up in
each level. There are 4 different levels to play in this game and then
they start over agian but harder the next time around. You must collect
the key in the Level and unlock differnt parts of DK's cage to free him
and move on to the next level. The first few times around it isn't too
tough but then it starts to get pretty challenging.

My Best score for this game: 286 Pts.

*******************************************************************************

=----------------=
=IV. Secret Games=
=----------------=
Note that I haven't gotten all of the Secret games yet, I only have
gotten 2, so that's how many I can give you info. on...

FLAGMAN:
---------
Controls: A Button - 2
          B Button - 4
          Up on D-Pad - 1
          Down on D-Pad - 3
          Left on D-Pad - N/A
          Right on D-Pad - N/A
          Start Button - Pause

MY Description: There are 2 different games to this game. Game A and
Game B. Game A is where you must follow the pattern of numbers that
are held up, use the buttons listed above to do this. Game B is where
you must follow the numbers as quickly as you can in order to win, this
game can be fun, but it's not REALLY fun, plus it starts to get hard
after a while. You can sort of compare it to "Shy Guy Says" if you've
ever played Mario Party on the N64.

My Best score(s) for this game: Game A - 11 Pts. (Pathetic :p)
                                Game B - 32 Pts. (Pathetic :p)

JUDGE:
-------
Controls: A Button - Hit
          B Button - Run
          Up on D-Pad - Hit
          Down on D-Pad - Run
          Left on D-Pad - Hit
          Right on D-Pad - Run
          Start Button - Pause

MY Description: This game is pretty fun if you ask me. 2 people (you
and the CPU) are guys with hammers in their hands. After the 3 arrows
leave you both will hold up a sign with a number on it. The person with
the highest number has to HIT their opponent as fast as they can before
they have the chance to run. If you get the lower number, run as soon
as you see it or else you'll be hit, this game is very fun and addicting.
Be careful though, sometimes the numbers will appear very quickly not
leaving you much time to think.

My Best score for this game: 89 Pts. (Pathetic I know :p)

LION:
------
Controls: A Button - Upper Right
          B Button - Lower Right
Up on D-Pad - Upper Left
Down on D-Pad - Lower Left
          Left on D-Pad - N/A
          Right on D-Pad - N/A
          Start Button - Pause

MY Description: Coming Soon...

My Best score for this game: Coming soon...

SPITBALL SPARKY:
-----------------
Controls: A Button - Puff of Air
B Button - Puff of Air
          Up on D-Pad - N/A
          Down on D-Pad - N/A
          Left on D-Pad - Left
          Right on D-Pad - Right
          Start Button - Pause

MY Description: Coming Soon...

My Best score for this game: Coming soon...

DONKEY KONG II:
----------------
Controls: A Button - Jump
          B Button - Switch
          Up on D-Pad - Up
          Down on D-Pad - Down
          Left on D-Pad - Left
          Right on D-Pad - Right
          Start Button - Pause

MY Description: Coming Soon...

My Best score for this game: Coming soon...

So far those are the only secret games I have collected, but many more
will be added as I get them, so you can look forward to having more info.
on more secret games in the near future...Give Thanks to ShdwRlm3 for

=VIII. Contact Information=
=-------------------------=
