This FAQ is basically hints and tips, with a few lists of some
important stuff thrown in for good measure. It's not very long, or in-
depth, but then neither is the game.

I just wanted to submit this now to just get it in. I'm only missing a
few things. I plan to make one more updated when I get that info.

In Menus:
D-pad: Move cursor
Start,A,B,C: Select what ever the cursor is on

In Game:
       On Bike: Running:

Left/Right:	Steer your bike Run in that direction
Up/Down:	Nothing Run in that direction
A: Brake Stand still
B: Accelerator Nothing
C: Punch/Swing weapon	Nothing
Start:	Pause Pause
Tap B Twice	Use Nitro** Nothing
C + Down:	Kick Nothing
C + Up:	Back hand Nothing

**(Nitro Class Bikes Only)

*Note* When using the kick or backhand, you're basically getting ready
to strike. You can hold the C button and let go of the down button.
Your rider will keep his leg or hand cocked, and you can continue to
steer, but with less effectiveness. The other problem about this is
that once you cock your leg or hand, you can't switch sides. So if you
right leg or hand is cocked and the guy you're trying to whack is on
your left, you'll have to let go and do it again to get the correct
side.

+3. General Hints and Tips+
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

1. After every race, go to the options screen and write down the
password. It may seem tedious, but you'll thank me if you end up
getting a game over because you couldn't pay a stupid speeding ticket.

2. Your first objective when you begin the race is to start making up
ground. The first level's tracks are very short, so you can't make very
many mistakes. The head of the pack starts well ahead of you, so every
second counts.

3. For the first few levels I recommend getting your weapon from viper.
He is usually in the mid to front of the pack. In levels 4 and 5 get
your chain from P.E. No. 1. These two always hold a chain, and this is
the best weapon to have. Make sure you knock them off as soon as you
get it. They can be a real pain if you don't take care of them early
on.

4. Now this is common sense, but stay on the road! Only go off if you
have to avoid hitting something, and there is not other way to go. This
will most likely be because there is a car on both sides of the road.
If you stay on the grass to long, your speed will rapidly decrease.

5. When going over hills you should stay a little bit right of the
center line. That way you avoid getting nailed by oncoming traffic, and
you'll have more time to maneuver if there is a car on the right side.
It's easier to avoid traffic moving in the same direction.

***************************
*I need some cash bad man!*
***************************
*Money*
*******

1. You don't have to go up a level if you don't want to. Why let the
game get more difficult if you're not ready? Just make sure you leave
one track not qualified. So, essentially, you could rack up money
racing on already qualified tracks to buy a better bike. This is the
best strategy. If you have patience you can make enough money to buy
the fastest bike while sill in the first level.

2. When you wreck or get busted you have to pay for repairs or tickets.
Make sure you have enough cash to pay for them. The amount for each
bill increases every level. Plus repairs cost more for the expensive
bikes, so be careful! If you have a choice between wrecking and getting
busted, get busted.

******************************
*Hey, why are you hitting me?*
******************************
*Attacking*
***********

1. A good rider will utilize the kick attack. Use it on your opponents
right before an oncoming car to make them crash. You could also just
veer hard into them, but sometimes your inertia will carry you into the
path of the car as well.

2. Get rid of cops as soon as possible. They will just annoy you if you
let them hang around. All cops carry a club. This is more for the
earlier levels though, because once you get a fast bike you can just
blow right by.

**********************************
*I'm sliding all over the place!!*
**********************************
*Skidding*
**********

1. If you start skidding, let off the gas. If you tend to hold the
directional as you go through turns, try and use a tap method. Once you
get faster bikes it's impossible to just hold the left or right,
because you will wipe out almost every time.

********************************
*Why would I want to go slower?*
********************************
*Braking*
*********

1. Yes there is an actual use for this button. Don't be afraid of using
the brake. If you know your going to hit something, and can't get out
of the way, slam on the A button, turn and then gas it. You will lose
some ground, but crashing or wiping out will lose more.

*************************
*So you broke your bike!*
*************************
*Crashing*
**********

1. Once you get up after sliding for what seems to be a mile, you will
automatically run to your bike. Just do nothing and you will find it.
Make sure, though, you look in your rear view mirror for cars, because
you can get run over if you're not careful.

2. If you know your bike is wrecked, you don't have to go back to it.
You can reset the game, hopefully you copied down your password before
you started the race. You could also run the rest of the race. This
will take a very long time. Only do it if you are within two miles, any
farther and you might go crazy.

********
*Nitros*
********

1. You only have 8 nitros, so don't waste them, but you should use them
all, so don't be stingy either. Use one at the very start, to waste
about half the pack. Then use them only on straights or when you get
back on you bike after a crash. Using nitros during turns is dangerous.
You're likely to wipe out, or just crash into something because you're
going to fast.

2. If you hit the back of another rider while using a nitro you will
most likely crash. You shouldn't fly to far from your bike. Be careful
when cops are around, if you hit them, you're almost sure to get
busted.

****************************************
*Aaarrghhh, I hate this game so much!!!*
****************************************
*Frustration*
*************

1. If it seems like the computer controlled racers have an unfair
advantage, it's because you're right. I have only seen a handful of
crashes by the computer than weren't caused directly by me. They rarely
ever crash so don't count on it.

2. The computer riders will never, ever, ever, get busted. Even if you
and one of them crash at the same time, and your bikes are even right
next to each other, the cop will only bust you.

3. No matter how fast your bike is you can only get so far ahead of the
other riders. If you've been riding in first for about 1-2 miles then
you can expect the others to catch up to you right as you get going
after a crash. This is all depending on how far away your bike is from
you when you get up, but on average they'll be even.

4. Just keep at it. It may be hard at first, but as always, practice
makes perfect.

*****************************
*What, I wanna keep playing!*
*****************************
*Game Over*
***********

If you get a ticket or wreck, and you don't have the money to pay for
it, your game is over man. Hopefully you have your password handy.

***********************************************************************

+4. The Tracks+
+++++++++++++++

*************
*Prize money*
*************
After 3rd place the amount of prize money drops of drastically.

Level	1st 2nd 3rd
  1	1,000 500 250
  2	2,000 1,500	1,000
  3	4,000 3,000	2,000
  4	6,000 4,500	3,000
  5	10,000 7,500	5,000

********
*Length*
********

The length of the tracks are all similar on each level. As you go
higher in the levels, the length increases also. In level one, the
tracks are around 6 miles long, but by level 5 they are roughly 15.

**************************************
*What are all these things in my way?*
**************************************

The road is littered with different objects designed to make you crash.
There are many different kinds, but they only have three different
effects.

Sliding: Oil or dirt patches will make you loose some contact with the
road. It is much easier to spin out after you run over one of these.
These will appear in all levels.

Small Jumps: These little formations will give you a bit of air. Be
careful though, because once your up there there's no turning, at all.
Here's a list of things that you can hit, but won't knock you off:
Small white or brown rocks
Patch of flowers
Small Bush

Some things that only appear in certain levels:
Alaska: Snowman and tents
Arizona: Larger brown rocks, but not huge
Vermont/Tennessee: Cow laying down

Things that knock you off:
Anything that you see that's not listed above will knock you off your
bike.

********************
*Track Descriptions*
********************

Alaska: This is the basic start off track. A little bit windy at the
beginning, but not difficult. The road is pretty normal, not dry or wet
at all. I recommend using this track at the start if you keep losing on
the others. This track, although starting off easy, will get more
difficult as the levels increase.

Hawaii: This track is just a little bit harder than Alaska. The road
conditions the same, but there are a few turns that you can spin out
on. There early in the track and have those yellow signs with black
arrows. Just let go of the accelerator and slide through. Once the road
is straight, use a little counter-steering until you come out of the
skid. Then punch the gas.

Vermont: This track also has the same road conditions as the previous
two. The only difference is that it has more short, continuous dips and
hills, often while turning too. Just make sure you see what's ahead of
you when you can, and stay a little bit to the right. Be ready to veer
very quickly to avoid a car or other object.

Tennessee: This track is similar to Vermont in its layout. The only
difference is that the road is a little bit more slippery than the
rest. Just be a little more cautious with the D-pad as you can spin out
easier. And it seems a bit harder to catch up with the front of the
pack in this level, so try to be extra careful, and don't hit anything.

Arizona: This track has very long straights, which are broken up with
short, fast turns. The road is very dry, so be careful when turning,
especially if you hit an oil patch as well.

+5. The Bikes+
++++++++++++++

Quick Overview on Bike Classes:
The bikes are broken down into three classes: Ultra Light, Super Bikes,
and Nitro Class. The Ultra Lights are the least expensive and easiest
to use, but are lacking top speed. The Super Bikes make-up what the
Ultra lights lacked in the top end, but are much heavier and suffer
during cornering. The Nitro Class biked have hyped out everything. They
have higher top speeds than the Super Bikes and have the Nitros for
quick acceleration. Don't go using these up at the beginning though,
because you only get 8 per race. They are very fast and hard to use so
you will have to practice to be any good with a Nitro bike.

Classes:
UL - Ultra Light
SB - Super Bikes
NC - Nitro Class

The list is not in the order they appear in the game, rather by price.
Also note that the bike you have adds money to your total because you
trade that one in when you buy your new ride. The trade in value is
equal to half of the price you bought it for.

Name Class	Hp	Lbs.	Price
Shuriken 400	UL	50	350	3,500 (you start with it)
Panda 500 UL	60	380	4,500

Diablo 1000 N	NC	180	350	38,000
Wild Thing ??	???	???	??????

*Note* Wild thing can only be obtained by using a code. The bike has a
top speed of 200, with unlimited nitros too. It's very, VERY, hard to
handle.
***********************************************************************

++++++++++++++
+6. Attacking+
++++++++++++++

Attacking is only necessary in the first few levels. Once you get a
supremely fast bike, you can blow away the comp with your speed. If you
like to brawl though, go right ahead, it's major fun.

There's only a couple ways to attack the other riders. Each has it's
own effects and pros and cons. You can:

Punch
Kick
Use a weapon
Or just crash into them

Punch:
The punch does the least amount of damage to the riders, but it also
allows you to steal whatever weapons that they're swinging at you. When
the rider starts to swing their weapon at you, there is a small pause
as they bring their arm back. You have to punch them at this exact
moment to steal it. You'll know if you get it, because you'll raise it
over your head and yell. It's hard to time so you're better off to just
keep punching, hoping the timing works out.

Power Punch:
Hold up and press C. Now you can just hold C to keep your hand back and
cocked. Ready to unleash your world of pain on the next unlucky rider.
This does considerably more damage then the regular punch, but you
can't take weapons.

Kick:
This does no damage to the rider themselves, but if you can time it you
can knock your opponents into various roadblocks. Hold down and C and
let go of C when you want to kick. You'll push the rider's bike very
quickly in the direction of the kick.

Weapons:
The pipe and the chain are both much more powerful than both the
punches. The chain is a bit more powerful and with longer reach, so
it's the weapon of choice. You use the weapons the same way as
punching, with C.

Crashing into them:
Not as ineffective as it might sound. It requires less perfect timing
then the kick but not as effective either. And if you hit someone just
right as there skidding, you will wipe them out.

+7. The Cut Scenes+
+++++++++++++++++++

These very comical cut scenes make the game much more fun to play.
Every level's cut scenes are different, plus you get a different cut
scene when you: Qualify, fail to qualify, you wreck, you get busted,
you move on to the next level.

*********
*Level 1*
*********
Qualify: You ride in from the right and turn around. One of your
opponents staggers in with a tire around his body. He sways for a bit,
then does a face plant.

Didn't Qualify: You ride in from the right and your bike falls apart
piece by piece until you slide to a stop on your arse.

Busted: A cop waits with you by your bike. A cop car pulls up and he
puts you in the trunk. Then the car drives off.

Wrecked: You and your bike are lying on the side of the road. An
ambulance pulls up and two guys with a stretcher hop out and take your
bike. The put it in the ambulance and drive off, leaving you.

Move on to level 2: You and a friend, I guess, are on top of a flat bed
truck, standing in front of your bikes. A cop car pulls up and he gets
out to yell at you. You and your buddy hop on your hogs and ride of the
end of the truck, onto the police car, and down onto the road.

*********
*Level 2*
*********

Qualify: You ride in and turn around. Your opponent flies in out of
control. A car on the side of the road opens its door and he does a
skid and takes the whole door right off.

Didn't Qualify: You pull over and waive to the group of on-lookers. You
then turn to the street and waive to the three guys on Harleys that
ride by. But as they pass they tear off your clothes and you're left
with nothing but your bike.

Busted: A convertible pulls up with two girls in it and the cop turns
to wave. You think this is the perfect get away time. As you try and
speed off the cop, while still waving and looking at the girls, grabs
you and you fall backwards off your bike. To bad the girls leave too.

Wrecked: You get up of the ground and into the road. You're not
standing for more than a second when a 18-wheeler slams into you, and
carries you off screen.

Move on to level 3: You ride up fast to see a paddy wagon and a cop car
on the other side of the screen. You bang a quick U-turn right in front
of the cop, and then high tail it out of there. The cop car comes after
you once your gone.

*********
*Level 3*
*********

Qualify: You go up a ramp and turn around on the flat bed truck. Your
opponent tries the same, but does a wheelie as he hits the ramp and
flips over backwards as his bike goes flying.

Didn't Qualify: You pull over to waive to your adoring fans. You then
turn to pet a dog that's on the side of the road. It doesn't happen to
like you, and it chases you off screen.

Busted: Two officers get out of the paddy wagon and grab you. They take
you over to the two open back doors. They pick you up, and give you the
ol' heave ho into the wagon.

Wrecked: Similar to the cut scene from level two, except now the EMT's
take you into the ambulance. But apparently they didn't shut the doors
tight, and as is take off, you fall out the back.

Move to level 4:

*********
*Level 4*
*********

Qualify: You ride right up the hood of a convertible and jump over the
top. You then turn around. You opponent tries the same stunt, but falls
of his bike and hits the flat bed truck that pulled up behind the
convertible.

Didn't Qualify:

Busted: Similar to level 3, but as they let you go the truck pulls away
and you hit the ground.

Wrecked: You get off the ground and waive over a truck full of bales of
hay. You take seat on the back, and as the truck pulls away you fall
off with a couple bales ending up on top of you.

Move to level 5:

*********
*Level 5*
*********

Qualify: You speed in and turn around. The other guy comes in fast in
hits a parked car. He flips over the front.

Didn't Qualify: You come in and turn around. Then one of the other
riders pulls up next to you. You put your hand out shake, but he,
instead, punches you in the face. It's one of the funniest ones.

Busted: The cop wheels your bike into the back of the wagon. The other
cop takes off and you decide to get ambitious. You hop into the
driver's seat of the wagon and pull away. The cop falls out the back
but you crash into the cruiser that pulled up in front of you.

Wrecked: You hop up off the ground and try to get back on your bike,
but it just falls apart underneath you.

Move to level?????6????:

+8. Secrets/Codes/Cheats+
+++++++++++++++++++++++++

Wild Thing:
To get this ridiculous black bike Hold Up+A+C when you turn on the
game. Continue holding them down at the title screen and keep them down
when you press start. When you get to the main menu, let go and you
should enter the race. You'll be racing with Wild Thing.

Bike Select:
!IMPORTANT NOTE!: I have not gotten this to work.
Select "Mano A Mano" mode and select bikes for each player. Return to
the options menu and change the game mode to "Take Turns" or "One
Player". The previously chosen bikes will still be available for
racing.

Tons of Cash:
Start a game. Don't do anything, just go to the set password option.
Change the first four digits to E240. Just to clarify. The last digit
is the number zero, not the letter O. It will say password invalid, but
go to the main menu and your money will be there.

Level Skip:
Start a game. Don't do anything, just go to the set password option.
Increase the fourth and eight digits by one for each level you want to
skip. It will say password invalid, but just look at the level
indicator on the screen and it will show the change. This only goes up
to 5, after that there is no effect.
