O-O Sir Trap
For allowing me to use his item list in this FAQ. I never could have
compiled all of that information by myself. I am not done copying it though.

O-O Jeff Veasey:
Otherwise known as CJayC, is the sole owner and keeper of Gamefaqs.com
He is the one who does all of those updates at 3a.m. Yah, he's that guy that
never sleeps. %~% THANKS CJayC %~%

Email: Gamefaqs@gamefaqs.com

O-O Dingo Jellybean:
Sorry Dingo, but I think I kinda copied your word art for my sub titles. But
anyway, this is the guy who told me all about txt. form. If he had not, I
never would have had anything posted.

Email: Bellybutton21@hotmail.com

O-O Dallas:
Dallas, is the other person responsible for telling be about txt. form. I
also believe that he was the one who explained to me about the message board
signatures, he and NEMESIS.

O-O Mike Mason:
He punches my arm whenever I stop typing. Without him I would never be able
to type so long. I also want to thank Dan Mason, who punches Mike every time
he hits me.

O-O Natsume:
Hmmm, maybe because they created the game. That's just a wild guess though
:) But seriously, I know all the creators are in Japan somewhere, but thanks
guys.

O-O Wal-Mart Cashier:
This guy, I don't even know his name, but I heard him talking to the other
guy in the game section, video that is. I don't play board games anymore.
Well, after I heard him I went and rented the game. Kind of a nice way to
find a game, huh.

O-O Gamer003:
I typed the FAQ, and compiled all the info to put in it. Oh please feel
sorry for me I spent all day playing a game and slaving over it too! :)

12/31/99 - This was the draft version of the FAQ sent to Gamefaqs. It
contained a very vague overview of the game, and the moves for the RPG mode.
It also contained the basic cheats and secrets in the game.

2/1/00 - I finally got around to updating it. I have added quite a bit.
Well, I got all of the Virtual Hiryu moves down, but no descriptions yet. I
have also added Character Bio's, Gameshark codes. Plus I have added a
training section, along with updating all of the modes and gameplay
descriptions. Not to mention I completely re-formatted the FAQ. That's about
it for this update.

3/10/00 - I added some to the biographies. Updated the items list a little
bit as well. I am going to try to come out with a new large update sometime
in the next week. Character FAQ's are also a possibility. I also added a
strategy section for each character, how to beat the CPU in tournament mode.

3/13/00 - I added descriptive names to all of the adult move lists. Just so
you know, the rest of the strategy guides will be here very soon. I got
Hayato's guide done, and I am also planning on adding the conservation they
have before matches. I am very close to the secret characters, so then I
will add their moves as well.

3/14/00 - Yay, I finally got to the Ryumaou tournament and won. Now I have
Ryumaou as a selectable player, so I have posted his moves, descriptions are
coming soon as well. Now I just have to get Bokuchin. I also added some info
about the Ryumaou Tournament.

3/15/00 - I added a couple more strategies to characters. I also made a few
grammatical corrections. I am still trying to get some ASCII art for the
title.

3/17/00 - I added yet some more character strategies, that is all.

3/18/00 - I added some more character strategies.

6/3/00 - Wow, long time no see, well I decided to finally start writing
again
after a much needed vacation. As you may have noticed I have
changed
call-name from Gamer003 to Dragon01, plus a few spiff ups on the
FAQ.

Flying Dragon is an extremely rare game. It combines anime RPG charm,
with some rugged Street Fighter action. The first time I rented the game, it
was actually kind of an accident. Blockbuster didn't have the game I wanted,
so I got this instead.
Once I got the game home, I was pretty un-impressed with the introduction
sequence. I was also starting to think I just wasted six bucks. Then once I
started playing the RPG mode, I quickly related it to the Dragonball series,
and people who know me can tell you, I like anything DB. Well once I learned
some moves and controls( No I hadn't figured out there was a built in list
yet) I started competing in the tournaments, before I knew it, I had got all
the platinum characters.
This is one of those games that you just get caught up in. No, it didn't
have Zelda graphics, but they were good enough to carry the story line.
Although I was very impressed with the Adult fighting modes, some of the
options you get.
I am not going to give up every detail of the game, but I will tell you
this, good things come in little boxes with anime characters on the front
and say Fling Dragon. Well, if you have the game or just rented it, have
fun!

Circuit: In this mode you fight against the computer in tournaments to gain
credits and treasure items, so you may try to become the overall strongest
fighter in the circuit. To get to the championship tournament to defeat a
platinum character, you must first win a sub tournament, its kind of like a
qualifying round. If you lose, well I have never lost, but when I do I will
let you know.

Tournament Mode: Can play with up to eight players, human or CPU controlled.
You can play with the full 4 player deck for ultimate rumbles. Beware, I
have had tournaments delete my game data, but it should warn you before you
do it.

Practice: This is just a place to hold practice fights and get more
experience. This is where you should memorize those moves and strategies. It
is also a good way to scout all of your opponents without really losing a
fight doing it.

Vs Mode: Holds up to 2 human players. This is like the MK versus mode.
Basically you both choose a character, and then do battle where ever the CPU
puts you. Usually its in P1's home arena.

Treasure Items: This is a place where you can check yours or all of the
other players items. You can also trade with other players, and go to the
store and buy items from the lady if you have nay credits.

Options: Here you can set basic things like Sound, difficulty and that sort
of thing. You can mess around with it and get it how you want it.

Group Battle: Here each player(Human) will choose 5 fighters to be on there
team. When a fighter loses they are gone. Whoever has the most fighters at
the end of the battle when, which has to be atleast one.

Ryumaou Tournament:
Yep, this is the big one, the mother of all tournaments. So here's how it
go's down. You have to compete in the Championship tournaments, and each
time you beat a platinum character, you get a medal. Well when you get up
around six medals ( that when I got invited ) you will be confronted by
Ryumaou a giant warrior. In the tournament you will face 8 warriors, all of
them are platinum characters so beware. Then at the end, in the final match
you will face Ryumaou. He is very string so be careful. After you defeat
him, you will receive your treasure, and then you will be able to select him
as a characters in Circuit mode. To find him you have to scroll through all
of the characters until he appears.

Training Modes

Free Training - Here you can work on anything. Such as moves, combos or just
getting used to the controls. Your opponent is more of a crash dummy, they
don't fight back.

Minds Eye - This is a test of your reflexes. If you can pass this test you
will easily defend against fast opponents. This is one is good for practice,
but it can get pretty hard.

Practice Match - Practice in a scrimmage fight againt any of the normally
selectable characters. This is good to develop strategies against certain
players that you can't beat.

Command List - This is a list of all of your characters moves. Sometimes
this list is in a different language- ( Japanese ).

Command Training - The screen will show a move, once you have completed it
you will move on to the next. The moves get harder to do every time you pass
to the next level.

SPEED TRAINING
--------------
O-O When training to gain speed there are two ways. One, you might just
have a god given talent, which is rather unlikely. The other way is train
constantly in the training mode. But you can't just train any type of
exercise, so here are some thing you can do to enhance you speed, and this
will also increase your hand eye coordination.

Exercise 1
----------
When training as an adult fighter in the Hiryu mode, have the options set on
3D, and go to a practice game. Pressing the Z button on your controller will
make you switch your D line. Practice waiting until your opponent is just
about to hit you than move out of the way with the Z button, getting out of
the way just before he hits you. Try doing this against Gengai, as he is one
of the faster players in that mode.
When you can dodge this 9/10 times, you will have passed the ancient art of
dodging.

Exercise 2
----------
This one is a little more basic than the other method of gaining speed, and
it is also a little more of a trick than a manuever. When your opponent is
down, jump over him. Switching to the side that you didn't attack from. Now,
you have to do the next part extremely fast, and you have to time it right.
2 seconds before he is about get up throw whatever your shooting move is at
him/her. If you time this correctly it will hit him just as he is turning
around, before he has a chance to mount a block. This should actually be
called false speed.

MOVE TRAINING
-------------
O-O There are lots of ways to become faster at moves. This is a key element
to any fighter, because even if your stronger, but he is faster, it isn't
gonna matter. So there are a couple thing you can do to help this. One , is
memorize your moves. I would recommend that you choose a player, and then
just always use him/her whenever possible.

Exercise 1
----------
Take the move list for your character off of this faq, and memorize all of
there moves. Then once you know them all, go to training and put it on free
training. If you can do all of the moves in no more than two tries a piece,
it is really gonna help the odd's of you winning a fight. After you have
done that, come up with a plan as to what moves and how many you will need
to defeat your enemy.

Exercise 2
----------
Scout all of your enemies so that you will know all of there weak points,
not to mention the strong ones. This way you will be able to use you speed
to your advantage, if you completed my speed exercises that is. You will be
able to capitalize when your opponent does make a mistake, which may not be
often if your fighting a platinum character.

Super Defense - A special technique performed by you or your opponent, which
blocks your move, and then adds a counter move. These counter moves take off
more damage than regular moves.

Super Attack - These special manuevers are performed when your magic meter
is full and there is no less than a one showing on it. These are like your
finishing, because they are extremely powerful. Even when they are blocked
they still produce a good amount of damage.

Sub Super Attack - This is a move, like a beam or something of that nature.
When it gets a direct hit it causes slightly more damage than a normal
attack.

Combination - These special legato manuevers can be done at any time. They
can be blocked and are performed by pressing a certain button sequence. When
they connect they can be quite deadly though.

The game has a wide variety of characters to choose from. Some of are
quite and humble, while others are forced to be humbled by the stronger
characters. There are some more dominant characters in the game, they are
those who always win against the CPU in tournaments. So choose your
characters wisely, as you may pay for your mistake later.

- The terms childs and adults moves only mean that it is the RPG or

Biography
---------
He, is probably the strongest over all fighter on the game. He resembles
that of an anime character, from Dragonball. He has spiked up hair, and
wears his weighted training clothes. His clothes have His trainer's emblem
on it.

His trainer was Gengai, the ultimate Kung Fu teacher, who I a character on
the game himself. Ryuhi has been trained by Gengai in the art of Kung fu
since he was a young boy, on the RPG circuit of the game. Ryuhi hails from
China, the largest country in the world, which is also responsible for the
production of many of the worlds greatest fighters.

Ryuhi is not only Gengai's student, but his opponent as well. Although,
sadly now, Ryuhi can easily overcome Gengai, as the circle of life has been
completed. Except in this case, I don't think that the student has become
the master, not yet atleast.

He is not only his student and opponent, he is the successor of Gengai's
super move, that he could never fully complete. The Hiryu No Ken, capable of
defeating any warrior, which was to great for Gengai to achieve, has become
Ryuhi's fate. As he is a leader of warriors, and has become the most
powerful, by perfecting this deadly move. It's kind of like Goku being King
Kai's successor. Those DBZ fans know what I am talking about.

Ryuhi was hot headed as a child, and has since calmed down a bit. Always
aware of his power, as a child, he readily warned his opponents that it
would take all of their power to defeat him. I am not sure, but I think he
kinda has something going with Min Min, cause as kids he always asked if she
was okay after the fight.

I know that the name of the girl in the RPG mode isn't Min Min, but they
all evolve. Like the Red Falcon was the guy that wants to take over the
world, arghhh! What is that stupid guys name! Oh well, I'll remember. Well
that's about all I know about Ryuhi, but if you have anything that you would
like to add, please email me:(Gamer003@hotmail.com)

Strategy
--------
Vs. Yuka:
Since Ryuhi has much more strength potential than Yuka does, he really
doesn't have to worry about not doing any damage. In the right hands, Ryuhi
also has a little edge in the speed department. So I would suggest that you
capitalize on this. Use your beam attack to knock her down. Then while she
is down, switch sides and hit her with a combo once she gets up. You really
need to watch out for her tornado magic shot, if she hits you with it she'll
do it over and over again. So to conclude, the best thing to do against her
is to never give her a chance to strike.

Vs. Robo No Hana:
Robo is stronger than Yuka, and he blocks the heck of a lot more, so you are
going to have to take a more aggressive attack with him. Mix up your speed,
which you have lots more of than him by the way, and your ability to cause
mass damage in one hit. At the very beginning of a match start to run in the
opposite direction of him, he'll give chase. Then when he's in the air hit
him with a fireball to knock him down. Now here's where the speed comes in,
right after you knock him down, run back to him and start doing a big combo,
or your special move just as he is getting up, he can't block while he is
recovering so you should be able to hit him pretty good.

Vs. Shouryu
This is going to be one of, if not the toughest fight you have. Shouryu is
almost your exact equal. Notice I said ALMOST, so here is how you are going
to get him. He will come at you aggressively with combo's and beam attacks,
so you have to be ready right as the match starts, shoot off a fireball. He
will most likely block this, that's ok though. As he is blocking it, move
into position to do a combo. If you A. hit him with the combo keep it going
as long as you can, and then use your special attack. But if you B. don't
hit him with the combo, regroup, and then get ready to do it again.

Vs. Adult Shouryu
Wow, this fight is even tougher than as a child, because Shouryu as grow
even stronger. Now he actually has the speed edge on you, but you are still
stronger.
As soon as the match starts, do a jump kick and hit him, if you connect he
should let his guard down and allow you to do a combo on him, finish the
combo with your fire attack. This should knock his energy down pretty far.
Now he will most likely get you down to half your power during the match but
don't worry, usually after each time he attacks, he leaves just a tiny slot
where his block is off, hit him with all you got, and that should finish
him.

Vs. Suzaku
Suzaku will be your toughest match if Shouryu isn't. He is a very good mix
off speed and power. Since you are both almost dead even in ability, it is
going to be up to who attacks first. So right off the bat, when the match
starts, hti him with a flurry of fireballs, this should set his attention on
blocking them not you. If one of them finds its way through, jump at the
opportunity and hit him with a high kick combo, followed by your fireball,
this repeated should defeat the mighty Suzaku.

Vs. Wiler
This fight is going to depend on your concentration, because sometimes Wiler
seems easy, and sometime he's awesome, so pay attention. For his size, Wiler
is very fast, so watch his uppercut combo's. He is most likely going to try
to hit you with. Use high kick combo's followed by a sweeping move to knock
him off his feet, then hit him with a special move and that should be all.

Vs. Powers
Powers is enormous compared to you, so your shots don't do as much damage.
Although he is so stupid and slow it shouldn't be a problem. When you tries
to go all out on you and hit you with a magic attack, get out of the way of
it, and then hit him with a combo right after, when he puts his block down.
Use your fireball, cause you should avoid him at all costs.

Vs. Hayato
This is another very tough, and equal fight. Hayato is faster than you, so
you are going to have to tough it out and muscle him down. He will hit you
with a combo and connect about 70% of the time, so don't feel bad. You are
just going to have to use a lot of fireballs, because he is better at close
quarter fighting than you. Hit him with a fireball and use a combo. Then as
he is getting up use a sweeping kick to knock him off his feet. Continue
this and eventually he'll die. Well, not die but lose.

Vs. Adult Hayato
Again you are very close in stats, except this time you are faster and
stronger. Your combo's are muc stronger as is your magic. That's not to say
he doesn't put up a fight, he is really tough. He is going to try to hit you
with immediate special moves and combo's, because the longer he goes the
weaker he gets. So try to wear him down using mixed up combo's and special
fire attacks.
If he hits you with a special shot you will be sorry, cause the momentum
will shift, and that is the last thing you want to happen against a guy like
this.

Vs. Gengai
This fight should not be that tough, considering that he trained you in the
art of Kung Fu. Gengai is a very technical fighter, rarely ever using his
magic. He will use very long chain kick combo's and knock the crap out of
you if your not careful. But if you can hit him with a combo, followed by a
fire shot, his energy will go way down. Use high kick combos for maximum
efficency.

Vs. Raima
This is another pretty easy fight, as Raima relies a little to much on hia
magic abilities. He will high kick a lot, and use that flying sword attack
thing constantly, so if you can keep him on the ground, you will take away
his main way of attack. A few high kick combo's followed by a sweep kick and
then a fire attack will have this Ninja at his knee's. But beware, his sword
attack will cause mass damage if it connects well, so you have to strike
first, preferably with a chain kick combo.

Vs. Kate
Kate is a kick boxer, so her main attack is kicking, even though they don't
do very much damage to you, unless she hits a big combo. Just continually
use spinning high kick combos and he energy will shrink very quickly. She is
pretty weak so use a quick sweep kick after a high kick combo to knock her
down, then use a fire attack to finish her off.

Vs. Min Min
Min Min is a lot like Kate, and she is also very different. Alothough she is
a lot stronger than Kate, she is a lot less technical. She depends more on
her speed, and in this case yours is higher. She is very weak and vulnerable
to high kicks and especially connecting chain combos. You really don't have
to waste your magic on her.

Vs. Red Falcon
Red Falcon is the cowardly side of the great Suzaku. Brought on by the
evolution of Suzaku's feather. He will constantly try to do his nose dive at
you so make sure that you have it set on 3-D. If it is on 3-D you can just
swift dimensions and avoid the nose dive. Lucky for him he still has
Suzaku's old strength so fight him as if he were child Suzaku.

Biography
---------
Hayato is a very quiet talented, fighter. He is anything but cocky, and
rarely ever starts the argument. He wears a purple training uniform with
long brown hair as a child. And then as an adult he wears a purple, white
and crme colored outfit, still has the long brown hair.

He is good with all types of combat, especially when he can use his speed
to his advantage. He is an elegant fighter, who was mainly trained in the
art of Kobujutsu. His beam shot, or energy beam, is one of the fastest on
the game, Although he rarely uses it.

Hayato hails from the great country of Japan. That is also where his game
was made, what a coincidence. Japan is also like China, known for their
extremely talented martial artists, mostly known would probably be Bruce
Lee. Hayato has the heart of Dragon, loving and punishing. He is kind of
like that guy that is so nice, but if you make him made you may not live to
tell about it.

As I already said, he is lightning fast, and will strike when you least
expect it. He has a Special Upper Cut in which his fists are covered by his
energy beam, which he then hits you with, ouch, that must really hurt huh?

Strategy
--------
Vs. Yuka
This fight should not be that big of a challenge if you get off to a good
start. You are stronger than her, and just a little bit quicker to. So,
right hen the match starts, you need to hit her with a combo or something
good, this way she won't be able to constantly hit you with that tornado
thing she does.

Vs. Robo No Hana
This fight shouldn't be to tough either, considering he spends almost all of
his match time blocking. Catch him off guard at the very beginning of the
match, if you don't it will be a while before he puts down his block again.
Hit him with something really big, so that it will only take one more shot
to knock him out, because you don't know when that may be.

Vs. Shouryu
This is a really tough fight, because you are almost the same in all
attributes. So the winner is going to depend on who strikes first, and who
strikes the hardest. Shoot a beam at the very beginning to distract him,
then move into position to try to pull of a combo manuever. If you knock him
down wit the combo, hit him with a big magic move.

Vs. Adult Shouryu
Now that you are both adults, you are both much stronger than before. His
beam is also much quicker and stronger, so you have to watch out for it. You
aren't going to over power him, so you will have to use speed and combo's to
knock him down, and then hit him with something really big. Don't try to
exchange blow for blow, he is a little stronger than you now.

Vs. Suzaku
Again, he is just a little bit stronger than you, so you really have to
watch out for his beam, make sure you block it, especially his bigger one.
You are faster than he is, so use this to your advantage, combo him, and
then switch
Sides when he is down, if he gets up turned the other way, hit him with a
jump kick or beam attack. Just keep repeating this process.

Vs. Wiler
Finally, someone who isn't stronger than you, except you are about even, but
he can easily be defeated. He will let you hit him a while, and then try to
make up for it with a massive attack, when he does this make sure you block,
and counter it with a equal attack, if he shoots a beam, just shoot another
one to block it. After a couple periods of him letting you beat him up, he
will fall.

Vs. Powers
This should be one of the easiest fights you have. Powers may be strong, but
he's slow and stupid as well. Just jump around a lot and hit him with hard
kicks and punches. Remember, keep moving, if he catches you he'll do a
wrestling move on you and you don't want that. Use your magic a lot, he is
not really one who blocks a lot. However, at the beginning of the match,
watchout for when he sometimes throws this stupid bomb thing at you, and it
will explode on you.

Vs Gengai
This is another tough battle, for he is much more technical a fighter than
you. Watch out for his many reversals and super defenses. He rarely uses his
magic, and is constantly moving, if you can hit him once, just do a big
chain combo, to kind of hold in position, then pull out a big magic move,
this should take care of the old kung fu trainer.

Vs. Raima
I don't know why but I always have trouble with Raima. He always seems to
pull out those stupid kendo sticks right when im winning. If he does happen
to pull them out during a match, avoid them at all costs, or try to shoot
him down or something. He is not that string, he just has a lot of really
good moves. So kind of move around a lot and strike when you see the
opportunity.

Vs. Kate
By now you should be able to kill her, but occasionally she will hit you
with a chain combo, and knock the crap out of you, so, in the event of an
emergency, use all of your magic quickly, and then hit her with the biggest
combo you know, or atleast the most powerful, she goes in hot and cold
streaks so you kind of want to get her down, before she can go hot again.

Vs. Min Min
You are so much faster than her is isn't even funny, so you should just open
up on her. Make sure you mix up the types of combos though, or she will just
constantly block. Use your magic when she is about half way out of energy,
this should finish her off. If not, just hit her with a small combo, and
watch her bite the dust.

Vs. Red Falcon
Even though he looks and sounds stupid, he will put up a fight. If he hits
you, he is going to try to go big quick with that nose dive thing he does,
this will take off some pretty good energy, so be careful. I would recommend
that yo uplay in 3-D so that you can side step his nose dive. Other than
this move, he will really just punch and kick at you a lot. So just stay on
your guard, and you shouldn't have a problem.

Vs. Ryuhi
This will be the toughest fight you have, he is stronger, and you are barely
faster than he is. You are going to have to use your speed big time. In the
start, try to knock him down with a beam or lengthy combo. Then keep hitting
him with beams as he tries to get up. Use your special when he is down to
about half of his energy, this should take him down to at least one fourth
of his energy.
Now use your best combo, followed by a beam to defeat him.

Vs. Adult Ryuhi
Uh oh, he is still stronger, and now he is equally as fast! But, you still
have a chance to beat him. When ever you get knocked down, which you
probably will by the way, make sure you trip him. Then, whenever he tries to
use the Hiryu No Ken, and you'll know cause that Dragon appears, jump right
before he kicks you to avoid it. Use your beam, and try to avoid getting to
close, because his combos can be fatal. Just duke it out and hope you win.

Shouryu is the leader of a ghost hunting team. He is a very talented
fighter with kind of a short fuse. As a child he wears these rediculous
outfits and always has a stupid look on his face. As an adult he wears white
pants and a vest.
Shouryu hails from the United states of America, there he was also a very
well recognized figure in the martial arts. His form of combat is in fact
Martial Arts, this is the kind of karate most beginners take, of course he
is no beginner, he is of a world class level.
Shouryu is one of the more powerful, or stronger characters on the game,
although he doesn't really have the serious fighters mentality, his platinum
form can cause you quite a bit of trouble. He will use his beam shot
constantly if he is low on energy so be careful.
Shouryu also has a rather odd occupation, he is the leader of a ghost
hunting group. Im not sure what its called, but that's kinda weird. He is
also one of the very few characters that is one the game as a child and an
adult.

Strategy
--------
Vs. Yuka
This fight should be a walk in the park for most of you. You are much
stronger than her, and your beam does a lot of damage. Use a large combo
right at the start of the match, and then hit her with your magic attack.
Now all it should take to win is a couple of beams. If that does not work,
be careful, if you get hit with that tornado thing, she will use it over and
over again. As you progress in the tournaments, she will also use a thing
where she nods and you get tossed around, but you can't block it so don't
feel bad.

Vs. Robo No Hana
Again, this should not be that tough a match for your. In the very beginning
hit him with a beam, and then your special attack. This should get him down
to atleast a fourth of his energy. If it doesn't, watch out, he is going to
try to fight back by shooting his hands off at you, just jump over this and
do d jump kick. Then every time he goes to get up, just keep hitting him
with another beam, this will eventually knock him out for good.

Vs. Suzaku
For most, this will be your first real fight. Suzaku is strong and fast,
much like yourself, so you will have to out smart him to win, until your
items are stronger atleast. At the very beginning, right when the counter
says fight, hit him with your special move, now he will be behing you in
energy for a while. Keep hitting him with beams, and then a big chain combo.
He is another one that will use the same move over and over again, his Nose
dive, so watch out. His beam should also be taken into heath.

Vs. Wiler
Wiler is just below your strength level, but don't just count him out so
quickly. He has a couple very powerful moves, capable of beating you, even
though you are stronger. Use a lot, and I mean a lot of distant attacks, and
beam on him. He is a master of close quarter fighting, and you are not. If
necessary, use your special move as soon as you get it, if he does a Wiler
bomb, you may be through. Although he rarely ever does. Always tap A when
you are getting up, it will kick his legs out from under him, he falls for
it every time.

Vs. Powers
This is another fight, that you cannot just over power your opponent. Plus,
again like Wiler, he is a better close quarters fighter than you. So use a
lot of beam, he only blocks about 50 percent of the time for some reason.
The Build up until you have 2 special moves, because he will most likely
dodge one of them. Again like Wiler as well, trip him every time you get
knocked down. This should not be a tough match, because you have such a
great speed advantage.

Vs. Hayato
I am not really sure who is stronger here, but I do think he is just al
little faster than you are. But you are a better combo performer than he is,
so right from the beginning just keep repeating combos. I kow he will block
a lot of them, but the ones that get through do pretty good damage. Only use
your special if you have to, which you probably will. Use your beam from
distances, and always trip him when you are getting up.

Vs. Adult Hayato
Now it is official, you are stronger than he is. But, he is still faster,
and has better discipline. Use your beam a lot more than you did before, and
try to use chain combos. He blocks a lot just like he does when he is a
child. Your special is harder to do, but just as powerful as before, use
this towards the end of the match so you can just get rid of him.

Vs. Ryuhi
This is a really challenging fight, as you are kind of equal in both
categories, strength ad speed, even though your beams are a lot faster.
Right when the match starts, hit him with a beam attack, and try to knock
him down, you need to get as much damage done early in the match as you can.
Then use your special, he needs to down to one fourth of his energy, then
start to do chain combos over and over again.

Vs. Adult Ryuhi
Well, this stinks, he turns out to be the strongest guy. Try to do a lot of
the same stuff we talked about against child Ryuhi, except this time, it is
mandatory that you avoid his combos. Remember that little flare attack, he
did as a child, while now it isn't orange haze, its fire! He will finish up
his combo's with this move, so avoid them at all costs.

Vs. Gengai
Ah, Gengai, the Kung Fu trainer. Well, you are stronger than him, by the is
still more mobile and mechanically sound than any one else in the game. So
yes, finally you get to go head to head with someone, really all you can do
is slug it out, and after combos use your beam, this should knock the old
man pretty good. But take caution, he too, has a beam attack, and it is like
ryuhi's and can be done following combos.

Vs. Raima
I don't think I have to tell you who is stronger, but I can tell you that he
will kick your butt with those kendo sticks if you arent careful. Use a lot
of combos and just try to keep him always on the defense, cause his
offensive moves are better than yours. Use your beam when he jumps at you
with the kendo sticks and knock him out of the air. He also has a couple of
beams that are hard to recognize, so be on your guard.

Vs. Kate
At this point, you should be eating Kate for breakfast, but if you are
having trouble, it is because she is quicker than you. Being a kick boxer
gives her the advantage of being able to punch a lot, and then do something
very unexpected with her legs. You have to be quick enough to block these,
or she'll KO you quick. At first, use you beams and try to mellow her down.
Then come at her full force, and hit her with chain combos and special
moves.

Vs. Min Min
This is a lot like the fight with Kate, she is much weaker than you, but she
is a very sleek character. She will surprise you like Kat edoes, so always
block when you aren't attacking. Never ever let your guard down, or she'll
hit you with a jump kick out of no where. Hit her with beams, and specials
twoards the middle of the match, to where her down for your combos. If you
are playing with the 3-D option on, beware she will switch dimensional
plains a lot.

Vs. Red Falcon
As you probably know by now, I hate this guy. I would also advise you to
have it on 3-D before the match even starts. This way you can side step and
avoid his most powerful move the nose dive. Use your beam and make him pay.
He is going to try and over power you because he is a foul, but no worry you
are a ton stronger and more agile, you can just side step him. He will
eventually fall after a few combos and beams.

Gengai is the head of a Kung Fu Dojo or school where people learn Kung Fu.
Again Kung fu is the kind of karate Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee use. He was in
fact Ryuhi's trainer, Ryuhi has since surpassed his current power level and
has become the greatest fighter. Gengai is from China, a prominent country
in Karate and the other martial arts. This is also where his Dojo is
located.
Gengai is bald and most of the time he wears a white suit. When you play
against him as him, he will be wearing a green suit. He has some odd marks
on his forehead, I am guessing they are from some sort of ninja clan or
training symbol of his former master.
Gengai is very quick, especially when you consider his age. He does not
rely on his magic like a lot of the characters do, this makes him even more
dangerous. He is extremely deadly at close range, and I would recommend
avoiding him at all costs In that area.

Strategy
--------
Vs. Adult Shouryu
Ok, you are a more technical guy than he is because you are an instructor.
But I think he is a little bit stronger than you, although you still have
the spped edge on him. At the beginning of the match hit him full force with
a jump kick and then a big combo, followed by a beam attack. This should get
his energy down far enough, that if he attacks you will have enough time to
kill him. Do not try to stay close and over power him, move around a lot,
and kind of pick at him.

Vs. Adult Hayato
Now your are 2 down in the hole, as you no longer have a very big speed
advantage. Use the same beginning strategy you did against Shouryu, except
this time you want to keep going at him with combos, instead of backing off.
He will block a lot more so you will have to try to inflict more damage than
the others. If he knocks you down, trip him as you get up, and prepare to do
a beam on him while he is just getting up, so he cannot block it. Now you
are just going to have to use common sense to stay alive long enough to
defeat him.

Vs. Adult Ryuhi
Wow, this is a toughie, you taught him everything you know, or did you. Even
though you trained, which already gives you an advantage, he seems to not
fight as hard against you. Use your technical abilities to mislead and then
strike upon him. In other words, act like you are setting up for something
and then do something else. His Hiryu No Ken, will knock the royal crap out
of you, so if he does It make sure that you avoid it. Then, just use the
same strategy as you did for Shouryu.

Vs. Kate
This fight should be a walk in the park. You have an advantage over her in
every category, you are even quicker than she is. Just hit her with heavy
combos and use your beam frequently. There is no need to avoid her, just go
head on, she cannot over power you as you can her. This would be a good
match to try to learn some new moves, even though it should not last that
long.

Vs. Min Min
This is a lot like the Kate fight, except Min Min is a little stronger
fighting, and speed wise. Still go right at her using your combos, just be a
little more cautious of hers, they are much more powerful than Kates. Use
you beam a lot, to try to get it over with, even though you are stronger,
you don't really want to give her the opportunity to pull of an upset.

Vs. Red Falcon
This fight should just be a little harder than the Min Min fight. Make sure
it is one 3-D so you can side step his nose dive, and when you do, hit him
with something good, and then with a combo. You don't want to drag this out
I have found that he is actually some what decent in the art of mounting
comebacks
So finish him off quickly. He is stringer, but you are faster so it
shouldn't be a problem for most.

Vs. Raima
This is a true clash of the Ninja's. He is very technical as are you, and he
is stronger and almost equals your speed. His moves are more powerful and of
a better variety, but you have an ace in the hole. You can side step almost
all of his good moves, and he isn't quick enough to avoid yours. He is known
to pop up from a fall with an immediate beam attack, watch out for this and
you should be fine. Also watch out for then kendo sticks, and remember to
trip him when you get up.

Kate is a master in the art of kickboxing. She is the United States of
America kick boxing champion, although she hails from Sweden, a country more
known for meatballs than karate.
Kate has short blonde hair and usually she is wearing a green jumper type
of coat, with white stalkings. She is a fare fighter, but does not pose much
of a threat to a decent fighter like Gengai or Hayato. She can be extremely
dangerous at close quarters because of her extensive training. In Sweden she
is a part of the Special Police.
She is a character who relies more on magic than martial arts ability. She
has a particularly dangerous magic manuever, she gathers energy and goes at
you super speed, kicking the crap out of you.

Strategy
--------
Vs. Shouryu
Well, this is a pretty tough battle. He is stronger than you, and has better
moves, so you are really gonna have to pull off something big to win. Try to
avoid him and just hit and run until you gather enough magic to hit him with
a special move. After that, assumming it hits him, try to avoid him again,
filling your magic meter. Should come at you in an all out assault, try your
kick combos, they can be pretty powerful. Although they will only work for a
short while. Do not, and I repeat do not try to go head to head with him.

Vs. Hayato
This one is going to be a lot like the Shouryu fight. You can not afford to
try to over power him, because he is stronger, faster and he has better
moves than you. He is very calm, but will go wild on you if you try to go
head to head in close quarters with him, he will hit you with a burrage of
kicks. So you want to hit him hard in the beginning, and then back off, and
hunt and peck, keep on the move. Then once you have filled your magic meter,
hit him in a vulnerable place to expose his blocking, and hit him with the
special.

Vs. Ryuhi
This will be your toughest match in the whole circuit. Ryuhi is the best of
all the fighters on the game, and you are probably the weakest, not a good
combo. So, this time we are going to use a little bit different strategie.
In the very beginning, hit him with your beam attack, and then use a long,
long chain combo. If this doesn't build up your magic full, use another
combo, but be careful. Then use your maic attack, which by now shoul dbe
strong enough to defeat him. If he does the Hiryu No Ken, jump when he is
about to hit you, and you will avoid it sometimes.

Vs. Gengai
Well, these tough battles just keep coming don't they! This should be a
little easier on you though, he is a little more low key than the younger
fighters, although he is just as strong and fast when he wants to be. Use
much the same strategie you did for Hayato, as they a lot alike. If Gengai
trys to hit you with a kick combo, move at all costs, he is deadly in close
quarters fighting, so I recommend you keep this as a distant fight. After
you hit him with the special, he will probably try to trip you as he gets
up. If he does he is going to kill you when you get up, so just stay away
while he gets up.

Vs. Min Min
Finally, another girl to fight. This one is a real clashe of the titans. As
you are both very close in most aspects. But I think Min Min has a small
advantage over you, because she is stronger, but you are quicker so not to
worry. Use the same strategy you did for Shouryu, as she can over power you
if you try to go head to head. She is weak when it comes to getting kicked
in the head, but then again so are you. Try to wear her down so that one
special at the end will defeat her.

Vs. Red Falcon
Well, back to the under dog fights with you. Again he is stronger, but you
finally have an advantage over the men. You are quick enough to switch
dimensional plains before his Falcon nose dive can hit you. This is good
because that is his primary way of attacking you, he dives and then hits you
as you get up and while your down. Try to go head to head with him, as he is
no longer the mechanical fighter Suzaku was as a child, he is actually
pretty weak in close quarters I think.

Vs. Raima
Yet another tough fight, aren't you getting annoyed about this. Well he has
those stupid kendo sticks if he pulls them out on a jump move, so if he does
be very careful not to get hit. Use your special as much as possible. You
don't want to give him a chance to beat you on a fluke. Use chain combos to
build up your magic meter, and then let it all out on him. He depends on his
magic a lot, so look out for unexpected beams and such.

Min Min is an extremely elegant fighter, because she is from a more well
off country, ancient Hong Kong. She is the successor of her fathers ancient
technique of fighting, and is the best female fighter on the game.
She wears a dress like the girl on street fighters and has an oriental but
american look to her. She is a master in the art of Kung Fu, and is a
dangerous at all range fighter.
She is of royal decent, her father had something to do with it in Hong
Kong, before a government was formed. This is also a contributor to her
elegant attitude.

Strategy
--------
Vs. Shouryu
These fights are all going to be a lot like Kate's were, you being the
underdog. So against Shouryu, you are going to have to use much the same
strategy Kate did. At the beginning of the fight, hit him hard with a big
combo. Then as he gets up, use your beam attack. Now, it time to play cat
and mouse. Stay away from him, and only jump in and kick him once or twice.
Then get away again so he doesn't have a chance to hit you back. If you
connected with the attacks in the beginning of the fight, this should
eventually wear him down.

Vs. Hayato
This one will be a little easier than Shouryu, but not very much. Hayato
isn't quite as aggressive, so you will have more chances to hit him
undetected. At the beginning use the same strategy you did for Shouryu, and
then instead of backing off right away, do one more combo before you start
to play cat and mouse. He is also faster, so you might not always hit him
when jump in to kick him. If he happens to do his special move, try to block
or avoid it at all costs, it will to some very heavy damage, or if you can,
side step it.

Vs. Ryuhi
This will be your toughest fight, because he has Hayato's speed, and
Shouryu's aggression. SO he isn't most likely going to stand there while you
jump in and kick him so we have another plan for him. At the very beginning
of the match do your beam, and then get as far away from him as you possibly
can. Now, whenever he comes near you, just give him a side kick, he doesn't
block much, so it should knock him back. Now, do this until you have filled
your magic meter, then let him have the special as soon as possible. If he
does the Hiryu No ken, well your in trouble.

Vs. Gengai
Now, you should be able to win this fight without a real problem. He is not
really one for blocking, so hit him hard with combo's and high punches early
in the fight. Then once you build up your magic, save the special until he
only has 1/6 of his health left. Then use the special, this will assure his
defeat. If he does his special, it will hurt you, but not nearly as much as
the others. He rarely uses his beam attack, but still be on the lookout, it
is a ball, so he can use it to finish combo's like Ryuhi.

Vs. Kate
By now you should be beating the snot out of Kate. Her only advantage is in
fact her quickness, which she has because of her leg strength. She is going
to try to keep jump kicking you, when she does, use your beam or special to
kncok her out of the sky. She is weak, so it will take a lot out of her.
After that, one or two good lengthy chain combos should take her out. If she
uses the hyper speed kicks there is nothing you can o, so just trip her when
you get up.

Vs. Raima
Hey, aren't really getting sick of this guy. I am. Use your beam constantly
at the beginning, to either hit him, or counter one of his. He has better
moves than anyone on the game, so he will try to rely on his magic no this
Ninjutsu skills. He has a lot of beams, which he uses without warning, try
not to stay close to him unless you have to. He doesn't make many mistakes,
so be really careful. If he does pull out the kendo sticks, side step it at
all costs, they do a lot of damage, because he will do it repeatedly if he
happens to hit you with it. Do not try to go head to head with him, he has
to many dangerous assaults.

Vs. Red Falcon
This should be your easiest fight, besides Kate, because you can easily side
step his very best move. If he does the Falcon nose dive, just move over to
another dimensional plain. He will keep doing it if he hits you so watch it.
You can go head to head, as he isn't really a technical fighter. He has a
decent beam, and he does rely on his magic. He is a savage and will win at
any cost. So, try to play the cat mouse thing to lure him in, and then go
all out as in, beam then chain combo, then special.

Wiler is like the Chuck Norris of the game. He is the army win at all
costs guy. He looks pretty cool in his camo pants and tshirt with a vest on
over it. He also wears a red headband.
He is not very arrogant and is a man of few words. He is an expert at all
forms of close quarters fighting, this was most likely learned in the army.
He has tremendous strength and agility, which can be a deadly combo in the
correct hands.
He is from the United states, as he was in the army. He makes his entrance
by trench sliding up to the opponent, which can get extremely annoying. His
only words are " My fists will speak for me."

Strategy
--------
Vs. Hayato
Ok, this is a pretty fair battle. You are both of about equal strength, and
Wiler's mental wisdom makes up for his speed disability. At the beginning of
the match be very aggressive, and try as many combo's as you can. There is
no need to back off, as you are equal in strength. Since you are the best
close range fighter on the game, try to lure him and. Then once he is there
trip him, and let hell lose on him. Use your special as much as you can. His
beam is also quite powerful. Hayato will fight back, but by then you shoul
dhave him down far enough that one special will defeat him.

Vs. Shouryu
Another good fight, you are still the better close range fighter, but he is
still faster. You can't use the approach you did with Hayato, because
Shouryu is much more aggressive than he is. At the beginning of the match,
hit him with a beam, followed by a toss move. Then as he gets up, use a
medium length combo to build up your magic meter. Once it is full, do your
other special not your default one. This will take off a pretty good chink
of his power. Now he is really going to start to fight, so becareful. Use
your beam, and combos. But use your magic wisely, when he cannot block it.

Vs. Ryuhi
This fight is like combining the Hayato and Shouryu fights. He has Hayato's
speed, and Shouryus strength. This is going to make it harder for you at
close range. He is pretty aggressive, and doesn't block very much, so use
your combos more than beams. When you use your special make sure it hits
him, because when his meter is half full, is when he really starts to fight.
Don't try to over power him, but you are strong enough to go head to head
with him in the center of the arena. In the event that he uses the Hiryu No
Ken, just jump at the correct time and you should avoid it.

Vs. Suzaku
This is quite similar to the ryuhi fight, he is fast and strong, and your
are average speed and strong. You have a good advantage over him though. His
special that he uses is a beam, which can easily be jumped over, and yours
cannot. Not having to worry about that can make it a lot easier. Use your
combos because he doesn't block very much either. Use your beam to counter
his, which he uses quite often. If he knocks you down, trip him as you get
up, and then as he is recovering use the kick combo to KO him if he is low
enough.

Vs. Powers
Powers is stronger than you, but you are tougher and faster by far. He does
not attack very much, so what he will try to do is hit you with something
extremely powerful. Watch out for his toss moves and especially his special
move, which is a giant flying power bomb. Use your combos as he is to stupid
to block, although he does get out of the way of special moves pretty good.
You cannot over power him, so I suggest that you treat him like a fight with
Ryuhi, except you should use your magic a little more wisely.

Vs. Yuka
Right off the bat you need to hit her with a combo or she'll use that
tornado thing on you over and over again. She is also going to use a
telepathic blast which will toss you all over, so be on your guard. Use
beams a lot, even if she blocks them she will still take damage. Try to lure
her in close, and then unleash your special, and use chain combos to follow
them. Over and all this should be the easiest fight you have. Just watch out
for her constantly trying to trip you when she gets up.

Vs. Robo No Hana
With Wiler, you should be beating the snot out of Robo, he is fat, weak, and
is the least aggressive fighter on the game. He is going to try to keep
shooting his hands at you because he is a robot. Jump over these and you
have pretty much mastered all of his attacks. Use your beam a lot from a
distance, as he blocks almost all of your combos. Use your special, but
beware, he jumps over it a lot, and you end up wasting it. There is no way
you should lose to the CPU, but if another player is this guy, that's
another story.

in most situations. He is a very good mix of magic and martial arts
abiltity.

SEE RED FALCON FOR CONTINUATION

Strategy
--------
Vs. Shouryu
This is a pretty even fight, except you have a few advantages. Suzaku is
stronger than Shouryu and he has a faster beam. This allows him to over
power and in most cases out do Shouryu. At the beginning of the match, use a
few beam to get his energy started going down. Then use your nose dive,
which on SD Hiryu cannot be side stepped like as an adult. Then once you
have built up a special save it until he is down to fifty percent of his
health. Now use it, and then follow it up with a combo plus a beam at the
end. This should assure the end of Shouryu in this fight.

Vs. Ryuhi
This is a lot like the Goku vs. Vegeta thing. You are very strong, but he is
just a little bit stronger. So, you are going to have to use a little plan
on him. At the beginning of the match, wait until he starts to run at you,
and then hit him with a beam as he is running, so he cannot block it. Once
he gets up from being knocked down, use a combo to get him down again. Now,
time your beam shots so that they hit him just as he gets to his feet, then
he cannot block them yet. Just keep doing this until you build up a special.
Then use the special, and whether he blocks it or not, he should be so weak
by now it beats him anyway.

Vs. Hayato
You are barely stronger than Hayato, so you need to capitalize on the
advantages that you do have. For instance, he is not aggressive, so at the
beginning of the match run at him full speed and do as many combo as you can
until he knocks you away. This should get him down to like 3/4 of his power.
Now, when you get up, use your beam a couple times to get him lower. Now
just piddle around until you fill up your magic meter. Use the special as
soon as you get it, and then as he gets up, if he does! Use the beam timing
you did for Ryuhi to keep him down until he is defeated.

Vs. Yuka
This fight should be a breeze. As long as you watch out for her tornado
move, and telepathic blast, she has no other moves that can harm you. Use a
lot of combos, because even If she blocks she still loses energy. Use combos
and beam to build up your magic meter, and then hit her with a special. If
this doesn't kill her, a few more shots should. Note, if she hits you with
one tornado thing, she will do it over and over again causing massive
damage, so becareful.

Vs. Wiler
Wiler is strong, but not strong enough. Use the type of strategy you did
against Shouryu, and try to avoid close range fighting at all costs. He will
do a lot of damage with his toss moves, so try not to let him get a hold of
you. Use your biggest combo over and over again to try to build up your
magic. While you are doing this, if you have a hyper speed item, use it. He
is slow already, so doing this will make him even slower. Then use the
special you built up with the hyper speed, and that should finish him.

Vs. Powers
Powers has more body strength than you, but he is stupid as a peanut. He
doesn't attack a lot, so when he does he tries something major. When he
comes at you a lot of the time you won't be able to block, so try to hit him
with a beam before he can get to you. Do not let him do the flying
powerbomb, it will do severe damage. Use combos and beams while he isn't
attacking, and hten finish him with the special move you have been building
up. He jumps out of the way, so you may have to get another special, but by
then he will probably be defeated anyways. If he does the powerbomb, use the
sacred water if you have any.

Vs. Robo No Hana
This fight is annoying. You are so much stronger than him, but he blocks so
much the fight usually takes a while. Do not go in just trying to kick and
punch him, or it will take you all day to get one hit in because of his
blocking.
Go after him with beams and special moves as much as you can. He will dodge
a lot of specials but just keep them coming at him. He is going to try to
shoot his hands off at you a lot, so jump over that, cause if he hits you he
is going to squish you, and he is really fat...so don't do that.

Yes, it is sad what a once great fighter has become. If you haven't noticed
while you play as Suzaku your feather keeps evolving, and then you can do

Red Falcon is a puthetic form of the great Suzaku. He attacks his

First off, I kinda think that Yuka and Ryuhi are going out. Why, because
he always asks if she is okay after they fight. Anyway, she is another that
must depend on her magic to make up for her lack of strength. She can shoot
a tornado at you, which she will do over and over again until your down to

She is very small and petite. She simply wears a white thing most of the

Raima is a cyborg ninja. Cyborg as in robotic, and or replicated of a
living object. He is an average fighter, but is especially strong in the
air. He is bent on destroying the Organization of Darkness, don't ask; I
don't know. He hails from the country of Japan, site of many tournaments of
the Martial Arts. His fighting style is Ninjutsu. This is the kind of
fighting like on the ninja turtles cartoon.
As I said, he is stronger in the air, as when in the air, he can pull out
his swords and attack. Try not to go head on in close quarters combat, I
know sometimes it is unavoidable, As he is not the fastest, nor strongest of
all fighters.

This is kind of a rather odd character. He is a giant sumo wrestler. The
only thing is that he is also a robot. Yes, he is of the cyborg descent as
is Raima. He is for some reason bent on winning so he can be the hero of all
Japan. He is blue and white with some pretty bad looking teeth. He has the
ability to shoot his hands at you too.
But again, if he can keep up with you he cannot over power you, and if he
can't dot that he is like Powers, he can't win. Try to avoid his magic
moves, they are pretty costly to your energy. But other wise you shouldn't
have a problem. Note, that his platinum character is as tough as nails
though.

Powers is the champion of all professional wrestling. Thus his specialty
art is wrestling. He is a very flashy muscular man, who wears blue and white
pants with no shirt. He wears a mask that looked like sting when was in the
old WcW.
He is extremely strong, but naturally not quite as quick as the other
characters. If he can't simply over power his opponent he cannot win, unless
he gets very lucky. Stick and move is a good strategy to defeat him, when he
is down switch sides to confuse him, he is a wrestler you know.
Powers does have some pretty devastating moves though. One in particular
though, he does this flying power bomb thing that makes you wish you had
never been born.

Man, this guy is enormous compared to everyone except powers. He looks
like he is in some kind of armor, like from Gundam or something. Well none
the less he is very strong, and is beam attack is massive. He has by far the
best magic attacks out of any of the characters. I don't really know much
about him because he doesn't have an info screen in the introduction
sequence.

These power levels are all made up, they are simply for fun. Yes, they are
spin offs of the Dragonball Z power level thing, but oh well. These actually
have nothing to do with the game what so ever. Do not use these power levels
to judge a character, use the table seen earlier in the FAQ. That is all.
