Creating a Character
=======================================================================
First, to create a new character, you have to be in
The training ground to have the following options.
 ______________
|              |
| Create       | - Create New Characters.
| Inspect | - View A Characters Attributes, spells and stats.
| Change Name  | - Change a Characters Name.
| Change Class | - Change the Class of Your Character.
| Delete       | - Get Rid of a Character(s).
|______________|

Now that you have selected create, you will be asked to input the new
Characters name and then you will proceed to the backround and stats.
 ________________  _________
|                ||         |
| Human          || Good    |
| Elf            || Neutral |
| Dwarf          || Evil    |
| Gnome          ||_________|
| Hobbit         |
|________________|

 ___________________________________________________________________
| Human:                                                            |
| The humans seem to be just an above average race. If you change |
| around their stats enough you can make them become fighter, mage |
| or clerical. Those are the only possibilities I have come across |
| so far. They have average stats, although elves are supperior. |
|___________________________________________________________________|

 ___________________________________________________________________
| Elf:                                                              |
| The Elves are by far the best race you can make your characters. |
| I have actually come across a bonus that was 38 points! This was |
| very rare to say the least. But, they have the best beginning |
| stats and get good average bonus points. |
|___________________________________________________________________|

 ___________________________________________________________________
| Dwarf:                                                            |
| This race seems to be better at fighting than anything else, that |
| is partly because that is the only expertise I have been able to |
| manipulate them to be. They are just average characters, but If |
| you like to have a variety, throw one of these into the group. |
|___________________________________________________________________|

 ___________________________________________________________________
| Gnome:                                                            |
| The Gnomes are actually a much better choice than a lot of people |
| might think. Using different combinations, I have been able to |
| turn them into all the expertises, with the exception of Samurai. |
| They are a good choice, so take 1 or 2 along with you. |
|___________________________________________________________________|

 ___________________________________________________________________
| Hobbit:                                                           |
| These are probably the most useless race. I have only been able |
| to make them into fighters. They have very high luck and agility |
| but those arent really the most important categories. You might |
| want to have 1 around for emergencies, but I never use them. |

The Expertises: Wizard, Mage, Fighter, Cleric, Samurai.
=======================================================
When you are creating a character, to determine the type of
Expertise they have, out of the ones above, you have the use
Their points. By adding and subtracting them to different
Attributes, you will notice that different expertises will
Appear on the chart to the right. Elves are the only ones I
Have been able to make Wizards, which can be done by making
Their I.Q. and Piety 12 points each. Actually, I have made a
Dwarf a wizard once, but the combination is unknown to me
Now. Contrary to what a lot of people may tell you, whether
Or not your character is good or evil does not change your
Bonus points, and if it does, it has been so slight that It
Has gone unnoticed by me.

You can also view your characters stats by going to the inspect
Section and then selecting a character, which views like this.

[ this is an example of an Elf, Fighter Class, who has gotten
  the Long Sword from Boltacs Trading Post.]

Note: Samurai*
Samurai is an extremely rare and hard to attain class. I have only
Come across this class once, and it was because of the enormous #
Of bonus points that I was given, I would not advise you sit there
And try to get this class on the creation screen.

General Tips & Secrets
=======================================================================
- Only buy items when you need them.
- Do not make all one race and class of characters.
- Try not to waste all your time getting bonus.

Is the ROM the same as the real NES game?
- Yes, actually it is. The ROM is licensed by Nintendo for gameplay, as
  a backup copy for the original cartridge. Now the ROMS are ILLEGAL if
  you don't have the game, so I would think twice about getting it.

Game Genie codes are on their way!

Of the sometimes not easy to read item list, because when your in a
Hurry you can look at the wrong price of an object. I would also like
To thank CJayC for hopefully posting this guide and running GameFAQs.
