     12: THE WALKTHROUGH!!!!

  0. Updates

Version 11: Not many Changes. Some corrections..new FAQ's, and a New
section: Dramatis Personae, under the story section. This will give you
the Low down on all the named characters.

Version 10(Not Released): Finaly got off my ass and updated this
thing. More walkthoughs, More alternate 2nd gen pairings, more
information, more corrections.

Version 9: Small changes here and there, new sections, some more
FAQS, lots of little corrections, and some more walkthrough is up. And
the mystery has been solved!! The function of the Berserk blade has been
found!!

Version 8: IT'S HERE!! Well..Not ALL of it. But the
Walkthrough/Conversation guide for The Prolouge is up!! It's all from my
memory, so there might be a few errors. There are also many small
changes throughout the FAQ.

Version 7(Not Released): STILL Plugging away at the
Walkthrough/Conversation guide. New Questions in the FAQ Section..A few
more parings..General Corrections and a Class Listing. I also wrote up
little summaries for each of the classes. I also did an 'Enemy' Only
Listing..So now you can 'Know Yourself and Know the Opponet'. I also had
my Friend Fox look over this..He corrected ALOT of my Translation
Mistakes and added on his own comments in the Character
Section..Providing a nice counterbalence to my own impressions. Also a
Section Detailing Skills...Section Detailing Weapons..MORE Info on
Legendary Weapons, Section Detailing Holy Blood...Heck..Just read the
whole thing over 'cause there's something new in almost ALL The
sections.

Version 6(Not Released): I know I promised Conversations and the
Walkthough..But I'm still working on it. Main update: Alternate Pairings
for the 1st Generation, As well as Descriptions for them in the Unit
Section. Also fixed up the Legendary Weapon section a bit.

Version .5(Not Released): Chugging along quite nicely. Fixed some
mistakes, added some tricks, more FAQs, more Ways to fall in love and a
Nifty little section on pairings. Full Chapter-By-Chapter walkthoughs
will be in the next version, as well as a Conversation guide. Also, see
the new emulation section the Information Area.

Version .4: WOW! 10k to Over 30!! I guess I can call this a MAJOR
UPDATE!!! I've got all the chracter summaries up. I'm working on the
chapter strategies as you read this. Basic Gameplay is also up, but far
from Complete.

Version .3(Not Released): Grammer fixed, additions made, Legendary
Weapon list completed, more FAQs added, some character tactics, and a
ton of corrections.

     Version .2:

            1. HUGE UPDATE! Finished (Almost)all sections, Fixed
Mistakes and added some more sections. I recomend reading the whole
thing over since ALOT has changed

   Version .01:

Initial Released. Not even close to done...but enough to make
it worth sending out.

   2. Information

Fire Emblem 4: Geanology of the Holy War was a Super FamiCom game
that never made it to US shores. It was created by Intelligent systems.
It's a strategy game reminescent of Shining Force. The original Fire
Emblem on the Famicom was THE original strategy game and started the
entire genre(the first one was NOT Shining Force as most people
believe.)
Fire Emblem 4 isn't actually a Direct Sequel, But starts a
Completly diffrent Storyline. The 1st and 2nd Fire Emblem games were
released for the Famicom in Japan..And then, when the Super Nintendo was
Released Fire Emblem 1 was remade and put on a cart with a Super Famicom
Only Sequel.

I have NO knowledge of the Japaense language. Translations for names
and equipment are courtesy of Rukes Riese, Ray Chien, and Fox Astron.

This is MY FAQ! I made it and anyone taking credit for it or selling
it will be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Basicly..IF YOU
USE THIS GIVE ME CREDIT AND DON'T EVER EVER SELL IT!(Or I'll have Ayra
beat you up!^_^)

Fire Emblem, Famicom, Super Famicom, Nintendo, and Intelligent Systems
are not my Own Creation, they belong to themselves, I take no credit for
their work

Any other mentions or Refernces belong to their owners, Not me.

Wanna help? Corrections? Send 'em to my E-Mail.

Flames? Lame Comments? U SUK messages? Send them to someone else!^_^

   Emulation:

Okay..this is a subject I need to talk about. I'm going to be honest
with you. You have a next to nothing chance of finding this game in cart
form. So most of you are going to end up playing this on an emulator. If
you don't know what an Emulator is, DON'T ASK!! Your better off not
knowing. If you DO know what I'm talking about, here's my message to
you.

I don't nessecarily agree with emulation, but I reconize the nessecity
of it. If you EVER get a chance to buy this in Cartridge form..DO IT!!
The programmers did a great job on this game and they should get the
credit they deserve. As for the Emulator itself, I've added some
comments here and there as some stuff is slightly diffrent(Due to bugs
and added features of the Emulator). In some cases it makes your life
easier, in others it makes it harder. Well...Just had to get it off my
chest.^_^

Note: A partial English Translation is available for the FE4 Rom. It
translates almost all of the Prolouge and Chapter 1, as well as All
Items and Characters, Classes, Menus, and a Whole other bunch of stuff.
Don't ask me for either the ROM of the Patch Please.

   3. Basic Gameplay

Okay, Here's the deal. I don't know much Japanese so I can't give
you exact translations, so I'm gonna explain what each Option and
Command does based on what it does in the game. Got it? Good. Anyway,
here's what you get when you press the A Button on your controller when
your cursor isn't over a Charcter:

  Unit Roster
  Item list
Turn Data (Number of units for each army, army leader, etc.)
  Skill List
  Options
Save(Only if you haven't moved a unit yet)
  End Turn

Okay now the explanation for each. When you Confirm(Press the A
Button) on 'Character Status' you get a Big screen listing alot of
stuff, and you can use the Right and Left buttons on the control pad to
see more. Here's what each screen is to the best of my Knowledge:

  1st Screen:
Has a Bunch of Numbers and Levels. Basicly it's your characters
Class, Level and Current HP.

  2nd: Weapons and Numbers

Weapon each character is equiped with, Plus weapon stats.(Attack,
Raw Hit, Raw Evade)

  3rd Screen

   Character Stats

   4th Screen(The Most Importent one!)

Okay..This screen has alot of information, Most of it in Japanese so I
can't tell you what it is. HOWEVER, look at the right side of the
Screen. Once in awhile you'll see some Japanese Letters there. If you
look closely and compare you'll find that it's actually the name of one
of your characters. What does this mean? It means that the character
that has the name in the slot wants to talk to the character in the
slot. BE SURE TO HAVE PEOPLE TALK WHEN THEY CAN!! Theres only a few
exceptions(Like waiting with to have Mideel talk to Edin before Deu
does, and then in the next Chapter waiting for Beowulf to talk to
Lacheis before Deu does) and some where you don't want them to talk at
all (Like when Alec wants to talk to Sylvia in Chapter 2.) I'll explain
more about Conversations next.

The other items on this screen are:
      Gold in inventory
Arena Level Reached(* for characters who have beaten it completly
for that chapter)

   5th Screen:

Weapon levels for all you characters.

   6th Screen:

   The skills your characters have.

    CONVERSATIONS

Conversations are what makes Fire Emblem 4 so interesting. They allow
you to get powerful characters(AYRA!!!), Have Characters fall in
Love(Ayra and Whoever!^_^), give characters powerful Items(THE HERO
SWORD!^_^) and raise stats(Ummm...Azel and Tiltyu in Chapter 4).
Basicly you want characters to have conversations because you only have
stuff to gain.

Good news!! RukesRiese has allowed me to use her Excellent Chapter by
Chapter guide in this FAQ!! Look for it next version!^_^

I'm basing my walkthroughs off her guide^_~ Look for it in the
walkthrough section.

What you get when you move a character next to an enemy

   Conversation(If they will talk)
   Attack(You then choose your weapon)
   Staff(If they can use it,
Change Weapon(Importent for if you want the evade bonus for weapon
type)
   Character Options

After attacking you get these Options(Only if you use a Mounted
Character or equipped with the Knight Ring.)

    End Turn
    Change Weapon
    Options

Okay and finaly some Miscuallneous Notes:

   The Advantages of a Horse

Being Mounted in Fire Emblem 4 is DEFINETLY an Advantage!! You get a
Larger Movement radius, But more Importent after attacking you can move
away if you have movement left. Their are TWO major disadvatages to
having a horse though. One is Vulnerability to the 'Knight Killer'
lance. The 2nd is skills like Sun Hit, Moonlight hit and Shooting Star
hit don't work for characters on horseback.

  THE STATS!!

Okay, when you highlight a Character and press A you get this screen
you can scroll down. The 1st screen lists your stats and weapons, While
the 2nd Weapon Levels, Cash, Lover, Conversation, Leader and Leadership
Ability. I'm not sure how Leadership ability work, and the rest is self
explanitory(I can't remember the Order it goes in, But I know it's all
there!^_^). Anyway, The stats and what they affect are as follows:

Strength: Well Duh. This is your Physical Power. It influences how
much damage you do

Magic: Influences Damage done with Magic, and the Spell used by Magic
Swords

Skill: Influences Chance of Skills like Shooting Star Hit and Sunlight
Hit working, as well as your chance of your chance to hit

Speed: Order of Combat, Certain skills and chance of Evade

   Luck: Affects Evade Percentile

Defense: Subtract this amount from Total Damage enemy is capable of
doing

Magic Defense: Subtract this from the amount the enemy does with a
Magic attack.

    Holy Blood:

One of the more interesting aspects of Fire Emblem is that certain
characters are descendents of the 12 Heroes(Who were later elevated to
GodHood) of Grandbells Past. These characters have Varying Amounts of
Holy Blood(From a Small Dot, which represenrs Minor Blood) to a Large
Flashing Dot(Major Blood). Simply having Holy Blood AUTOMATICLY Gives a
Free Weapon Rank level in that Gods Choosen Weapon, up to a Rank of A.
This can even gives Characters Weapons they coulden't use...REALLY
Useful. Furthermore having ANY Holy Blood gives you Bonuses when using a
Weapon of the Same class of that God(For the Purposes of Odo, Baldo, and
Hezul Blood any Sword Counts. For the Purposes of Dain and Neir any
Lance Counts) For Refrence this is the list:

  Baldo: Any Sword
  Odo: Any Sword
  Hezul: Any Sword
  Dain: Any Lance
  Nova: Any Lance
Blaggi: None(Evade bonus with a Staff?)
  Loputous: Any Dark Magic
Narga/Heim: Any Light Magic, Hikari No Ken and Earth Sword when used
at Ranged
Fala Blood: Any Fire Magic, Fire Sword when used at range
Tordo Blood: Any Thunder Magic, Sandaa Sword when used at range
Sety Blood: Any Wind Magic, Kaze Ken when used at Range
  Ulir: Any Bow
  Neir: Any Axe

Having Major Blood means a few things:

Story-Wise the character is usually the head of a house or next in
Line.

They can use their Gods Weapon!!!

They are AUTOMATICLY given a * Rank in the weapon class of their God.
Note: This can give Characters Weapons they coulden't use before!!!

As if THAT Wasn't enough Holy Blood also Gives Stat Bonuses:

      Preliminary List:

  All Godsblood raises HP

Noba blood increases Defense and Strength
Neir blood Increases Defense and Strength
       Fala Blood Increases Magic
Heim(Narga) Blood increases Magic and Magic Defense
Odo Blood increases Skill and Speed
Hezul Blood increases Skill and Strength
Dain Blood increases Speed and Skill
       Ulir blood raises Luck
Loputous Blood raises Magic and Magic Defense
Baldo Blood raises Strength, Skill and Luck
       Tordo Blood Raises Skill
       Sety Blood raises Speed
Blaggi Raises Luck and Magic Defense

Skill List: WooHa! By Popular Demand!!

Advancing: If character is Faster then the other character they
attack again

Duel: When sucesfully ativated Initaites another round of Combat

   Continue: After an attack..You hit again(And again...And
Again...God...This skill is scary when you use a Character like Lakche)

Berserk: When activated does an attack 3x as strong..Plus a Special
Animation. Dancers, Sword Masters, and Princes all have the coolest
Animations(The Dancers is something you have to SEE to Believe) *Note:
ANY Weapon can have the Berserk Skill attached..It simply has to have 50
Kills on it.(This is why Ayra's Hero sword is so desirable..It'll
probibly have close to 50 Kills on it by the 2nd Gen..which is REALLY
Useful for Lakche.

Prayer: When a character has 5 HP or less they become basicly
Impossible to hit(Seriously...I've Dodged Arions attack(Probibly has the
Highest Hit Percentage in the Game) and MUTIPLE Shots of Loputous

Dancing: A person with this Skill can 'Dance' as their action for the
turn..Allowing anyone above, below and to their sides to Move again.

Charisma: A Skill which gives Units near it a 10% increase in Hit
Percentage.

Counterfit: Half Prices for buying items and repairing..Sell for Full
Price.

Steal: Steals Gold after combat is resolved

Life: Regenerates 1/3 HP at the beginning of a turn

Awareness: Prevents Berserk Hits and (I THINK) Skills from being used
against the character

Shooting Star Sword: When activated this attack initiates a 5 Hit
continuous attack..Note that EACH of thise 5 Hits are subject to:
Continue, Moonlight Sword, Sun Sword, and Berserk

Moonlight Sword: When Activated IGNORES Defense(Magic and Physical)

Sun Sword: When Activated heals damage to user equal to Damage done
to opponent

Big Sheild: Randomly Blocks Magical and Physical Attacks for no
Damage.

wrath: One of the best Skills...Once you hit 1/2 HP ALL Attacks are
berserks

Pinch-Strike: When you hit half HP you ALWAYS attack first in Combat

   Elite: Gain Double Experience!

	Skill Usefullness:

Berserk: Hey..can you think of a time where 3x damage ISN'T nice?
This is especially useful for high attack weapons like the Balmunk,
Gaeborg, and Holsety. Not to mention any weapon can gain it..Hell..a
THIN SWORD can become deadly with this^_~

Pinch Strike: Pinch strike exists for the sole reason of pairing
with wrath^_~

wrath: wrath exists for the sole reason of pairing with Pinch
Strike^_~

Big Sheild: Only Adan and Hannibal will ever have it(Adan gets it
at Promotion) and it hardly ever kicks in. It's still nice to block that
attack when it DOES work though.

Continue: I LOVE this skill!! It can be difficult to activate(Cuan
hardly EVER uses it =p) but when you get a character with a High
Skill/Speed(LAKCHE!^_~) it's deadly!

Shooting Star: 5 Hits are nasty enough..but when each hit is
subject to continue AND Hero Sword Effects(And each Hero sword effect is
subject to Shooting Star!) and each shooting Star hit being subject to
Moonlight and Sun-Hit effects you have a person capable of 120 hits!(Any
of which can Ignore defence or Drain HP if the person has the
appropriate skill^_~) See why this skill is so scary? Want even
scaryier? Toss in Duel and make it (Potentially) 240 hits!!

	Elite: 2x EXP...'Nuff said

Awareness: One of the most USEFUL Skills in the game...This thing
is a LIFESAVER!! It's especially fun to pass along to Fee and then go on
an Archer bashing Spree^_~

Moonlight Hit: The ULTIMATE Can Opener!!

Sun Hit: Saves on staff use^_~

Prayer: Can you even be HIT when this skill is in use? Too bad
it's REALLY hard to go under 5 HP without kicking the Bucket^_~

Life: For your guys, an Item only skill. It speaks for itself^_~

Charisma: This skill is really underated! That 10% can be all the
differance when your attacking someone guarding a castle!

Dancing: This skill is deadly when you end up giving Sety, Lackhe,
and Shanan a second action^_~

	Advancing: 2nd attack...'nuff said.

Duel: A skill that acts as a Double Edged sword. The extra round
of combat may be all you need to finish off the opponent..but it may be
all your opponent needs as well!

Steal: Money for slaughtering enemies? Can it get any better?

Bargain: Useful for repairing Legendary weapons and Edin/Rana's
Staff collection.

     4: General Information

The Main Objective on all maps is to move your Main character, either
Selis or Sigurd, to the enemys castle and 'Conquer' it. This causes
story events to happen..usually opening up another castle to be
conquered.

In order to get money for characters they either have to:

  A: Save Villages
  B: Win Arena Fights
  C: Sell an Item
  D: Given By Lover
  E: Given By Theif

Each weapon(With the exception of the Earth Sword and a Few Staffs)
have only 50 uses. You must have it repaired at the Blacksmith shop.
Repair prices vary from weapon to weapon. ALL Legendary Weapons require
1000gp per Use to repair.(The Valkryrie Staff require 30000)

There are several Swords which can cast magic at Range. They all have
12 attack power(The Earth Sword might be an exception here) and are C
rank. They are:

   Thunder Sword: Casts Thunder
   Fire Sword: Casts Fire
   Wind Sword: Casts Wind
   Earth Sword: Casts Rizziah
   Light Sword: Casts Lightning

Also..Some Weapons give Bonuses that don't show up in the stats:

  ALL Silver Weapons(+5 to Skill)
  Killer Bow(Raises Skill)
  ALL Hero Weapon(Raises Skill)
  All Wind Magic(Raises Speed)
  All Thunder Magic(Raises Skill)

Some weapons ALSO Give Skills and/or Special Abilities

    Holy Bow Ichival gives Life
    Life Ring Gives Life Skill(DUH!)
Knight ring gives aftermovement like a Mounted character(Can switch
weapons and move away if movement left after an attack)
Return Ring casts Return on the character who uses it
    Tilfing gives Prayer Skill
Circlet gives Prayer Skill and Life Skill
    Prayer Ring gives Prayer Skill(DUH!)
    Prayer Blade gives Prayer Skill(DUH!)
    Theif ring gives 'Steal' Skill
    Bargain ring gives 'Counterfit' Skill

For each Weapon there is listed:

   Weapon Rank(From C to *)
   Attack Power(The Higher, The Better)
   Base to Hit(Higher the Better)
   Weight(Lower the better)
Any Special Charicteristics(Casts a Spell, Effecitve against
something, Gives a Skill)

The Following Weapons have Inherient Advantages against Certain
Opponents:

Iron Cutter- Always Cricticals against Armors, Generals, Barons,
Emperors, and Queens
Wing Clipper- Always Criticals against Pegasus Knights, Hawk
Knights, Dragon Knights, Dragon Masters
Wind Sword: Effective against Thunder Magic Users
Thunder Sword: Effective Against Fire Magic Users
Fire Sword: Effective Against Wind Magic Users
Any Bow: Effective against ALL Flying Units
Knight Killer: Crictical Attack against Mounted Units(Flying Units
don't count for this...Clip their wings with the Wing Clipper
instead^_~)

The Following Weapons have a Special Effect when Equipped and/or do
damage:

    Magic Swords: Listed Above

Sleep Sword: Casts Sleep Upon Hitting an Opponent. Is Tied into the
Opponents Magic Defense against SOMETHING..I haven't been able to find
out what

Berserk Blade - This is the most unusual weapon in the game,
it doesn't give BERSERK like the title implies, but instead,
it does this wierd multi-color spiral thing around the unit which...
well, we don't know WHAT it does... We think it silences the target,
but we're unsure of it. If you know what it does, and can PROVE
what it does, PLEASE tell us.

The Mystery has been solved! The Berserk blade does indeed give
Berserk upon hitting an opponent, although the effect is VERY rare.
Berserk causes a unit to attack anything near it(Be it friend or foe).
Units with Portriats seem to be immune to this.

Prayer Blade: Can only be Equiped by Women. Gives Prayer Skill. Also
seems to be effective against Certain Enemys, but enemy type is
currently Unknown

Hand Axe: Can be used at Range

Javelin: Can be used at Range

Hero Sword: Gives 2 attacks for every 1 a person does(IE: 3 Attacks
equal Six attacks. For REAL Fun get Lakche with Advancing, Shooting Star
Hit, and Continue. I've done 20+ Hits!!! Probibly would have done more
too..But the Guy had the Indecency to Die =p)

Hero Axe: Gives 2 Attacks for every 1

Hero Bow: Gives 2 Attacks for every 1

Hero Lance: Gives 2 Attacks for every 1
NOTE: With the Exception of the Hero Sword there are only 1 of each
'Hero' Weapon you can acquire.

Theif Sword: Same as Theft Skill Upon Hitting an Opponent

Earth Sword: Same of Effect as Rizzah when enemy is damaged.

Riazzah: Heals HP equal to Damage done(Same as Sun-hit skill except
it's always active)

  Staves:
Staves are the healing and support magic for Fire Emblem 4. Each Staff
is given a Rank like weapons...so People like Bards who can only use C
Rank Staves can't use the most powerful ones. The Staves are as follows:

Heal Staff: Restores 10 HP + Magic Power of the User to a person. C
Rank
Heal2 Staff: Restores all Hp to a Person. B Rank
Libro Staff: Restores 10HP + Magic power of user to a person..Ranged.
B Rank
Releif Staff: Restores 10 HP + Magic Power of users to all of your
Units. A Rank
Restore Staff: Removes Silence and Sleep(Berserk?) from a Unit
Sleep Staff: Puts a Unit to Sleep. Success based on Magic Power of
user Vs. Magic Defense of Target
Silence Staff: Silences a Unit. Success Based on Magic Power of user
Vs. Magic Defense of Target
Rescue Staff: Teleports a Unit within range next to user of Staff. A
Rank
Warp Staff: Teleports Unit to a Conquered Castle
Return Staff: Teleports Unit to Main Castle
Valkyrie Staff: Legendary Staff. Ressurects a Fallen Unit. * Rank

  1. FAQs

Q: How do I get Ayra(The black haired swordswomen in 1) to join my
party?

A: Unfortunetly, getting Ayra to join is probibly the THIRD
toughest
trick to pull off in the game. It is VERY Much in your favor to do it
though, as not only is Ayra one of the strongest characters, if you find
her a mate, she'll end up having a daughter thats even better!(And a
pretty powerful son too!^_^)

What you have to do to have Ayra join is lure her away from the
castle she's guarding and have Sigurd Rush in and conquer it, Then talk
to her.

The best way to do this is to use Alec to lure her away(He has the
best chance to avoid the hit he'll take when he moves into her Attack
Radius..Plus his Awarness skill will stop Shooting Star Sword from being
activated)lead her for another turn and then have Sigurd rush in.

   Q: Whats this Love System?

A: The love system is what makes Fire Emblem so cool. I won't spoil
too much, But lets just say that your characters children play an
importent roll in the 2nd half of the game. Your probibly saying
'CHILDREN?' right about now. Let me explain a bit. It's possible during
the game for 2 characters to fall in love. If they DO fall in love(And
have a certain vonversation during Chapter 5) You'll find that the next
chapter you'll start finding their kids, Who inheirited their parents
skills and equipment. With the Exception of Sigurd and Diadora and Cuan
and Ethrin any Male can be paired with any Female...Although some pairs
are 'Fated' and MUCH easier to get then others.(Just ask anyone who's
tried for 3 Hours like Me and Fox to a Bridget/Deu Pairing)

Q: How do I make people fall in Love?

A: There are 3 ways. Easiest is to have a Conversation. After a
conversation they'll fall in love quickly. Another way is to have the
characters stay next to each other. Basicly when ever they do something
have their potential mate next to them. Third is the toughest, but you
can pair any Guy up to any girl this way. Keep them together ALL the
time..and have them Kill LOTS of enemys while next to each other.

Q: Who are the characters I have to talk to to join and who do I use?

   A: Here's a complete list!^_^

         1. Ayra(black haired sword fighter)
Conquer the castle she's guarding then have Sigurd speak to
her

         2. Jamuka(Archer with a turban and dot on his forehead)
Kill off his guards and have Edin speak to him. You don't
HAVE to kill of the guards but if you don't your putting Edin and Jamuka
within their attack range^_~

3. Beowulf(blond hair...looks kinda like Eltosian)
Either have someone with 10000gp talk to him, or kill off
his squad leader and have Sigurd talk to him

4. Fury(Pegasus Rider w/ Green Hair)
            Have Levin talk to her.
5: Hollin
In Chapter 2 have anyone clear the Arena.

        Second half of game:

          1. Tinny(weird colored hair)
             Have Arthur speak to her

          2. Althena(long brown hair with a circlet)
Have Leif speak to her, then let her speak to Selis

          3. Hannibal and Coupl(old man and blond boy respectivly)
Okay. This is tough. You basicly have to keep Hannibal
Alive until you can get Selis over to the castle on the far left. THEN
have Coupl(The kid you find in castle) Talk to him. NOTE: If you kill
Hannibal First...Coupl will not join! Also..DON'T Conquer the castle
Hannibal comes from or it will kill Hannibal!

           4: Yohan/Yohalvier
Have Lackhe talk to the one you want

      5: Ares
Joins automaticly after his first turn.

     6: Lynn
Have Ares go into the castle he came out of after Selis
Conquers it

Q: What if I don't find a Lover for one of my females?

A: Instead of their children(for that female) you will get VERY
crappy units. DON'T DO THIS!! Make all your girls fall in love!^_^

Q: What Legendary weapons do I get...and Who uses them...and Which
one's are the best?

A: WHEW! Hey! That's 3 questions! I'll answear them though. You get
the following weapons on your side:

     The Holy Sword Tirfing(Baldo's Sword)<Sword>
The Lance of the Earth Gae-Borg(Noba's Lance)<Lance>
     The Holsety Spell(Sety's Wind Magic)<Wind Magic>
     The Holy Bow Ichival(Ulir's Bow)<Bow>
The Valkyrie Staff(Blagi's Staff)<Staff>[Only way to ressurect
characters who die in battle]
Golden Blade Balmunk(Odo's Sword)<Sword>[Second Half of game only!]
Magic Sword Mistortin(Hezul's Sword)<Sword>[Second Half of Game
only!]
Light Dragon Narga(The Legendary Light Magic)[Second Half of Game
Only!]
Okay. And to who uses them:

Selis and Sigurd use the Tirfing
Cuan and Althena use the Gae-Borg
Levin and his Son use the Holsety Spell
Claude and his son use the Valkyrie Staff
Bridget and her son use the Ichival Bow
   Shannon uses the Balmunk
   Eltosian and Ares use Mistolian
   Yuria uses the Narga Spell

The best ones? Well...I'd have to say the Holsety spell and Balmunk
due to the speed boost they give...followed by Mistolian and the Tirfing
for the magic defense Boost.

In case your wondering the Legendary Weapons you get thrown at you
are:

     Sacred Axe Swanchika<Neir>(Axe)
      Gungnir, Spear of the Sky<Dain>(Lance)
      FalaFlame<Fala>(Fire Magic)
      ThorHammer<Tordo>(Thunder Magic)
Earth Dragon Loputous<Lopoutus>(Dark Magic) Additional Note: This
stuff is MAJORLY bad Mojo...Try not to get yourself hit with it^_~ It
seems to halve the Characters Magic Defense, and Halve their attack
power as well. The effect also persists until the Chapter ends. If the
character is using The Narga spell this is nullfied

Additonal Notes on the Legendary Weapons:

The Swaschika can be used at Range like the Hand Axe.
The Tilfing gives the skill of Prayer
The Mistortin gives the Skill of Berserk
The Ichival gives the skill of Life
The Balmunk has this WEIRD Instant Death deal where it will
AUTOMATICLY Kill whoever it's attacking randomly....Not tested, but it
seems to effect portraited enemys as well(How else can I explain Shannan
basicly beheading Yurious with one hit?)

Q: In chapter 3, how do I get the Knight ring?

You have to keep the 3 paladins around Lacheis Alive.

Q: In Chapter 3, Where is the Advancing Ring?

Have Adan search the beach South of Highline Castle. You may have
to get it before you Liberate Highline.

Q: Where is the Holsety Spell?

A: After Sigurd Reconquers Silesia have Levin go into the castle.

Q: WAHHHHH! They Killed Cuan and Ethrin!!!

Not technically a question, But I've had lots of people say this.
THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN SAVE THEM!!! It's SUPPOSED to happen!!

Q: What do I do with Arion in Chapter 11/the last chapter?

A: Have Althena Talk to Him...Ta-Daaa! You now have DragonKnight
allies!(Just keep them away from Yuria!^_~)

Q:ARGH! Yurious Keeps Smearing me across the Turf! How do I beat him?

A: Well..You have to face him Twice. First time have Ares absorb a hit
from Louputous(His Spell) Another character can be substituted if Ares
is busy(Say Ramming The Mistorian down someones throat) but whoever
takes this hit NEEDS to have as High as an MDef as possible. If you have
it make sure this person has the Barrier Sword(and Maybe even the
Barrier Ring) Equipped. . That SHOULD bring Ishtar into Range..where you
can Holsety her cute-little Behind(The Holsety Should finish her off in
One round, but have backups ready to finish her off, You can't afford to
let Yurious get another combat round). That should cause BOTH Ishtar and
Yurious to leave. When you face him at the end of the game Simply DON'T
Kill Yuria(If you have Selis talk to her on the way to Velthome she'll
follow him around)..and when you conquer Velthome have Selis talk to her
again. THEN have Yuria go into Velthome..BINGO! You now have THE MOST
POWERFUL WEAPON IN THE GAME! The Narga Spell! Since You now have a
Legendary Light Magic(Light beats Dark) now YOU can do the Smearing!

Q: I did a Really Odd Paring like Adan and Tiltyu and they DON'T Get a
conversation near the end of chapter 5...Does this mean they don't have
Kids?

A: NO! This is an Oversight on my part and I didn't find out about it
until recently. The chapter 5 Conversation is ONLY Needed if the couple
was 'Predestined'...Like Beowulf and Lachesis. If you do an Odd Paring
you won't get a chapter 5 conversation..But don't worry. You'll still
get their kids. This also occurs if you pair Finn with someone. Don't
worry..You'll get the kids^_~

Q: Do ANY of the characters have The Life Skill?

NO!! The ONLY Characters that have this skill are a few of the '12
Lords of Evil' on the last map of the game. The Life skill is otherwise
an Item Specific Skill..Given by the Aptly named Life Ring, The Circlet,
and the Ichival

  Q: What is the Circlet?
A: The Circlet is that weird thing Diadora comes with. It gives her
the Life Skill, and we suspect it raises some stats as well. It can't be
sold, and only her and Yuria can use it

  Q: Where is the Circlet?

Yuria will be given the Circlet at the same time she gets the Narga
Spell(I MIGHT be wrong about this...she might have it when she pops out
of Velthome. If she dosen't then this is how you would get it)

Q: Does the Castle I liberate before the Last one in Chapter 6 have any
significance?

A: Yup! If you Capture the one in the Valley(Near where Arthur appears)
Yuria will can recieve the Aura Spell..an A Ranked Attack Magic of the
Light Element(The same Spell Diadora used). Liberating the other one
will give you Riazzah(B Ranked Light Magic which acts as Sun Hit. The
Earth sword casts this spell at range). It's up to you..but since the
Pass at the Lower castle is easier to defend and Rizziah is, IMHO, a
better spell, I say go for that. Yuria has some problems anyway, and
isn't worth putting much Effort into leveling wise.

Q: Where is the Silver Harp?

  A: The Grave of..WAAAAAAIT a Minute!! That isn't a Fire Emblem
question!! NEXT QUESTION!

  Q: hey d00d..where can i get ROMZ?

   A: Go Away

Q: Is the Glass Half Empty or Half Full?

A: There is water in the glass...Isn't that all that matters?

     Character Tactics

Class Listing with Strategies:(Courtesy of Fox Astron with Additonal
Comments by me)

Junior Lord: A Foot-Bound Fighting Class. Uses Swords. There's only
one of these in the game and It's Selis. Not very much to lend to this
class...Level him up and Class Change him quick

Lord Knight: Sigurds Starting Class and Selis' Promoted class.
REALLY powerful. Note that Selis can 'Dismount' and Return to the
Junior Lord Class..But why would you want to?
Answer - For the cool Berserks. ^_^

Social Knight: Horse-riding Sword user. Can also use Low Level
Lances. They make GREAT Shock Troops..Get these guys Stuck in and then
Hit and Run with some Lance Knights. Note that Only Males are Social
Knights
    * T's Note: When you face these guys take advantage of their
Mediorcre Defense...Knock 'em with a power hitter.

Paladins : Promoted Social Knights, add a tile to their range
and increase their effectiveness, Nodion had it right, though...
Steel Swords and Javelins all the way...
*T's Note: Oh yes...But you forget one thing: Paladins have High
Defense and Abnormal Magic Defense(IE: They actually HAVE it!^_~). Then
again..Paladin's are easy to kill when you face them...Go Figure.

Troubadour: Female Version of the Social Knight. Can use Swords and
Staves. REALLY Nice Class, though, especially from a strategic
perpective...
*T's Note: Yeah..But their a little Weak Strength Wise. I
prefier to use them as Support. Also..If you see these as an Enemy take
them out ASAP...They ALWAYS have a Healing Staff

Female Paladin: As Troubadours are to Social Knights, Female
Paladins are to Paladins. The Female Paladins only get C level
spears, but they get to carry around C level staves as well, Each
class, both Paladin and Female Paladin, have their own strategic
uses.
T's Note: Unfortuently the only GOOD Female Paladin you'll get is
Ethrin..Beleive me..she's a Tank complete with a BIG gun(IOW: The Silver
Claymore)Also..I don't beleieve you face any Female Paladins as
opponents.

Armors of any kind: Armors are wierd, there's Bow Armor, who use
B level bows, Armors, who use B level spears, Sword Armors who use B
level swords, and Axe armors who use b level axes, listen up, and
listen well *grabs a megaphone and screams "THEY ALL SUCK!" into it*
Seriously, only Adan will the only decent sword armor in the game, the
rest are crap... be sure to use the weapons triangle on these guys.
They fall prey to the Armor cutter sword very easily.
    * T's Note: He's right..But don't get cocky. The AI likes to use
Armors in a Mob Mentallity..You rush forward to bash one and your likely
to have 3 or 4 Armors whacking at you.

Generals: Muuchhhh better... A level swords and spears, B level axes
and bows. Not much to say for these guys, they're basically here to
be bosses. Note, that in the emulators, these guys are glitched ~BAD~.
For some stupid reason, the emulators give them insane evade, on or off
castle, treat these guys as if they had Holseti stat boosts.
     * T's Note: If your using the Emulator counter with your own High
Hit Units: Ayra and Lackhe with the Hero sword are good with all the
hits they'll give..Shannon might as well be nicked named 'Can Opener'.
Moonlight hit is the PERFECT Counter to this guys.

Barons: The Armored counter to the Master knight. You'll never
get one of these awesome warriors, but you'll encounter them as
bosses, They'll have any insane combinations of weapons, but they
lack the decent stats, they almost always have crap magical attack,
and A level magic spells to offset it. They do have low defenses
of both kinds, usually, so they aren't that hard to kill
    * T's Note: Yes..But be VERY Careful..They ALSO have the Evade
glitch on an Emulator.

Emperors: The ultimate incarnation of the Baron class, only ONE
enemy in the game will have this class, and he'll be hell, this
class has many maxed stats, and it can use everything, including
the * level kitchen sink.
*T's note: How to take him out: Avoid Holsety..He uses the * Fire
Spell which gives him the advatage. Use your own * Weapons to take him
out. FOR GOD SAKES I Hope you have Selis promoted by this time. Take the
time to kill off His Lackies and have Selis retrieve the Tirfing. Then
make Hit and Run attacks. Have Ares' pop in and attack with the
Mistolian...The have him move away and be healed. Have Selis repeat it
with the Tirfing. Those 2 are really the only people who can fight him
due to the need for high Magic Defense. If Arthur has a High Magic
Defense and Torron have him take a pass as well.

Axe Fighters: Walking Axe wielders, they're nothing big, but they're
a decent threat.
*T's Note: These guys look like their having Bladder Problems when
they attack...beleive me..your doing them a favor by whacking them. For
Maximum enjoyment use the most powerful attack you have and laugh
maniacly

Warriors: The promoted Axe Fighter, warriors get to use B level
bows in addition to A level axes. None of the Axe wielding classes
are that impressive.
*T's note: Especially considering all the Warriors you face don't
even TAKE ADVANTAGE of the fact they can use Bows!!! Well..Okay..Theres
ONE single Exception to this =p

Barbarians: I almost forgot about this class, it's so minor, B level
axes, abysmally low stats, you'll only encounter them when you're
just starting out, they're not intended to be a challenge.
*T's Note: For fun stick Deu in a forest and then move everyone
away from him.

Village Thieves: Barbarians with the AI of a garden spade. They
locate the village assigned to them and start destroying it. They
won't initiate an attack with anyone.
*T's Note: When a DANCER can take these guys out without
breaking a Sweat you know they suck...

Pirates: I could kill for one of these guys, they swim, they use B
level Axes, and they're a combination of the Barbarian and Village
Thief, being able to swim, wield an axe, and burn a village, their AI
is better as well. They tend to be more dangerous.
*T's Note: Same here Fox. Be careful with these Guys. You only
fight them in 2 chapters but with the Water Walking ability they can
mount a NASTY Surprise attack.

Sword Fighters: These guys rule. They're an above average class,
having a good base to hit, high power, high speed, and low defense.
Treat these guys threat wise as you would Ayra, they CAN suprize
you. (And most of the time, get advancing on you.)
*T's Note: USE THE WEAPON TRIANGLE AGAINST THESE GUYS! Their ALOT
less Dangerous when you keep them at Bay with one of Finn or Cuans
Pigstickers.

Forests: The underglorified promotion of the Sword Fighter.
They use the same weapons, gain no skills, and just get higher
defense, and the rest of the stats don't really change. By the
time you encounter these you'll have nothing to fear from them.
*T's Note: They also have an Incrased movement rate and Suffer no
movement penalty in a forest.

Sword Master/Mistress: *bows and worships the class* This
class rules... Only four or five units in the game have it, but
the enemies of the class are DANGEROUS, treat them as you would
Ayra while she's an enemy, avoid them, and slam only spear and
sword users against them, (high level ones at that) and you
should be fine. They've got annoyingly high stats, and they're
dangerous, be CAREFUL against these guys, don't be cocky, you
can lose legendary weapons users to these guys.
*T's Note: Thank GOD you only fight these guys in special
circumstances. Most of the time you'll be able to hit them with Ranged
attacks, which is by far the best tactic against them

Thief: Sword Fighter with C level swords and the ability
to lift cash from the target's pockets.
*T's Note: Don't be put off by the low Stats..These guys have an
annoying Ability to hit you just so you lose your cash

Theif Figher: Sword Fighter with A level swords and the ability
to steal.
*T's Note: Theif Fighters are some of the most VICOUS Characters in
the game. You only fight 2 of them..And ALL of them are a Pain to nail
in combat. Take advantage of their lack of attack range..Arrows and
Magic. On your side Theif Fighters are GREAT for taking out Generals and
Sword Masters/Mistresses...Their high Luck and Speed are the perfect
counter to the SM's Skill.

Dancer: This awesome class has C level swords, and a dance
option that lets any unit within 1 tile of her move again, fear
not young strategist, ONLY you get these. :^)
*T's Note: Well..Dancers are only good in the second generation
with the right parents. Sylvia is just too WEAK to get any use out of
her.

Bow Fighter: The Bow version of the Sword Fighter
*T's Note: 9 out of 10 Doctors agree that flying units shoulden't
get anywhere near these guys.

Sniper: The Bow version of the Forest.
*T's Note: With the same bonuses Movement wise. Furthermore these
guys tend to be rather strong.

Long Arch, Aian Arch, Killer Arch, and Glerd Arch -
These are all subclasses of a class called Shooters.
Shooters have A level bows, and have a range of 3 to 10
tiles, However, you've nothing to fear as they've gotlow base to hit.
*T's note: The Killer Arch is an Exception..that thing is DEADLY!!

Axe Knights: An unusual class, high defense, medium attack,
really slow, B level axes.
*T's Voice: This would be the ULTIMATE Shock Trooper class if so
many units didn't use Swords =p

Great Knights: It Might be Grand knight, I can't remember which one
is right, these guys have A level axes, High defense, and above all
else, low speed. Somethings never change.
*T's Note: Yeah..But you DON'T Wanna get whacked by one of
these. Magic is the best route to use against them

Lance Knight: Spear using version of the Axe knight, they're
faster, same attack, lower defense. Nothing spetacular.
*T's note: Yes..But they'll ALSO get the weapon advantage most of
the time.

Duke Knight: The really cool promotion of the Lance Knight,
they're faster, have more defense, and can use A level spears,
depending on the unit they have a higher attack.
*T's Note: Duke Knights are some of the Toughest Opponents you'll
face. Take advantage of their lack of Magic Defense and whack 'em from a
Distance.

Free Knight: These guys are terrible, low attack, average speed,
average defense, only thing they've got going for them is a good
solid skill ratio, they've got the most chance of hitting out of
any of the enemies you'll encounter.
*T's Note: Nothing really add..Lance Users slaughter these guys
Wholesale.

Forest Knights: Take a Forest(promoted Sword fighter), and stick
him on a horse, and remove his advancing and give him continue,
you have this class. Fairly dangerous, too.
*T's Note: I don't know if the Movement Bonuses of the Forest apply
to this class.

Arch Knight: An archer on a horse with decent base to hit and
attack, low defense and speed, only healers have to worry about them.
*T's Note: Healers AND Flyers..and this time they have a Chance to
catch up with them.

Bow Knight: Promoted archer on a horse with high attack, base to
hit, decent speed and defense, they're a tad more difficult...
*T's Voice: If you the Macho type put Faval or Bridget up against
them and beat them at their own game. If you sane just use any Melee
attack.

Pegasus Rider: Patheticness incarnate, low defense, low attack,
medium speed, you'll NEVER fight any of these.

Pegasus Knight: Average class, high speed, So so defense, still low
attack. Only bonus for them over the Pegasus rider is that the Pegasus
rider has C level swords and spears, the Pegasus knight has B level
swords and spears.
*T's Note: These guys are like Baloons...One Arrow and POP!

Falcon Knight: Ehehehe! This class rules, A level sword and spear,
C level staves, mobile, and good stats.
*T's Voice: Oh yes...Falcon knights rock they also have Good Magic
Defense too.

Dragon Rider: A Pegasus rider with decent defence.
    T's Note: Arrows...Arrows..And more Arrows.

Dragon Knight: Pegasus Knight with high defense and high attack,
*T's Voice: These guys can be DANGEROUS. Protect your weak units
when their around

Dragon Master: A Falcon knight without staves, but insanely high
defense, we're talking Armor knight defense...
*T's Voice: The only really safe way to take these out is with
Arrows. Also note that ALL Dragon classes have almost non-exitsant Magic
Defense.

Prince/Princess: You'll never fight any, and the only ones you'll
see are Leif (Prince), and Lakesis (princess), Leif can be treated
like a Forest, and Lakesis like a Thief with staves.
*T's Note: Note that Lachesis has a High Magic Defense.

Master Knight: The promoted form of the Prince/Princess classes,
A level stats for everything except for the C level light and no
shadow magic. :^/
*T's Note: These guys are so Vicous it ain't funny. They really have
no Weaknesses.

Mage: Madoushi don't rule as much as they did in FE3... Still a
good class, nothing outstanding about them, C level Fire, Thunder, and
Wind magic, and past that they haven't got much going for them.
*T's Voice: I don't think you face any TRUE Mages as opponents...

Thunder, Fire, and Wind mages, Basically, they're Mages who're
specialists, Thunder use only B level thunder magic, Fire mages
use B level Fire magic, Wind mages use B level wind magic. They're...
average. Nothing spectacular, but I prefer having them dead as
fast as you can because your units usually don't have much magic
defense. (With about seven or eight exceptions.)
*T's Note: Wind mages are the most dangerous since they have the
highest Hit Percentage and Evade.

Mage Knight: Put a Mage on a horse, and up his C level spells
to B, and give him B level swords. I LOVE this class! Mobile
mages with decent defense! Arthur is the posterchild for this
class.
*T's Voice: This class can be REALLY Dangerous if you let them be. Be
aware of their high movement radius when setting up strategys.

Mage Fighter: Now THIS is an amuzing class, C level swords, B level
thunder, wind, and fire magic, and B level staves. Take a BIG hint
from the enemy in equipping these gals, give them a Prayer Sword,
and at least one major B level spell. There are cirtain people out
there, who's names I shall not mention, who like giving this class
Magical swords, which defeats the purpose of magical swords...
*T's Notes: And what's WRONG with giving them Magical Swords? I
personally think the Light sword is the best weapon for them. It's light
magic and takes advantage of their High Magic attack.

Priest/Priestess: B level staves, and that's about it...
If they're the enemies, kill them ASAP so they don't keep healing
the stronger fighters.
*T's Note: These guys are good for experience building if there are
more then 2 of them.

High Priests: Um, these are jokes. A level staves, and C level
Fire, Wind, and Thunder magic.
*T's Voice: Well..For a Healer class their good. The magic is more
of a last ditch defense for them though...

Bishops: Vast improvement on the high preist, A level staves,
B level core elemental magic.
*T's Note: Too bad you don't get any on your team =p

Queen: Female only class, but for all intents and purposes the
next level of the Healer series, which as A level staves, and A
level core spells, You'll only see these with weapons, though.
*T's Note: And Only in the Arena.

Bard: Another amuzing class, C level Fire, Wind, Thunder, and Light
magic. Movement of 6, this is a nice improvement over the regular
mage, However, I have no regrets in telling you, that you'll only
see one of these in the game, he's named Levin.
*T's Note: Actually..I THINK one of the 12 Lords of Evil is a
bard..But that's beyond the Point.

Shaman: Female version of the Bard. B level Staves and A level
Light magic.
    * T's Note: And INSANE Magic and Magic Defense

Sage: The promoted form of the Sage/Bard classes, B level Staves,
light, fire, thunder, and wind magic.
T's Note: This class ROCKS as it has INSANE Speed and Skill..Even
WITHOUT Holy Blood!! Add that to the fact that Light Magic has advantage
over ALL Magic users

Dark Mage: Very similar to the Shaman, B level staves and B level
shadow magic.
T's Note: Watch out...They like to use a NASTY Spell called Douram
that takes your HP to one.

Dark Bishop: A level staves and A level shadow magic.
*T's Note: And these guys almost ALWAYS have the Fenrir spell and
either a Silence Staff or a Sleep Staff. Annoying like nothing else.

    Dark Prince: ?????????????????
*T's Note: I'm not gonna spoil anything either

       Individual character tatics:

    Sigurd:

T's Commentary
For the prolouge and Chapter 1 Sigurd is pretty much nigh
invulnerable.
After those battles he still remains a power fighter until he gets the
Trifing...then he kicks all ass. He has a high speed, strength and
defense. Like most characters however he lacks a high magic defense.
This all changes with the Tirfing, as it's bonuses add to his already
high stats and it's +20 magic defense makes him unstopable. With some
support from Edin, Ayra, and Levin Sigurd can take on pretty much anyone
and emerge with little more then scratches.

Fox's commentary - Sigurd is a liability to me in the
prelude as he starts at level 5, and quickly hits
level 6, and does more to hinder the advancement
of Noiche and Arek, who are two of my fav fighters.
Once he gets the Tilving, his strategic
value changes dramatically, as now in addition to
his high and mighty single skill of advancing,
he has Prayer and Advancing, which puts him
almost beyond the point of defeat.
Not intending, of course, for you to toss
him up solo against a squad of Dragon Knights
			in chapter 5...

    Cuan:

T's Commentary
Cuan is one of the better characters in the game. He can only use
Lances, but his high strength makes up for this. When he gets the Gae-
Borg he IS unstopable. After he gained the Gae-Borg NO ONE would initate
an attack against him. He isn't with you long so make use of him while
you can.

Fox's Commentary - Kiyuwan (Kyuwan, if you get technical
gets a niiiiiicccccceeeeeeeee little +10 to skill
and a +10 to defense courtesy of the Geiborg, but
due to a few minor problems (Like having to get him
past level 8 before Chapter 2, and the prelude
and chapter 1 being filled with Axe wielders, Spears
don't do too well against axes, that and the silly
fact that he doesn't have advancing... *grumble*

    Ethrin:

T's Commentary:
Like many characters in Fire Emblem, Ethrin is very lop-sided. As
a troubador she has the ability to both attack and heal, a combanation
that is obviously very favorable. However she lacks in both power and
defense. Once she class changes to a paladin however she becomes a
juggarnaut worthy of Sigurd himself. Her healing ability, coupled with
her high defense, Large movement radius and insane attack power make her
one of the best attack units you'll have. Unfortunetly, she'll leave
with Cuan and Finn, so make the most of her while you can.

Fox's Commentary - Without Advancing Ethrin still manages
to come in ranked "Very deadly"... One of the rather
nice things about the Troubador class is that they
can use both C level staves and B level swords...
Of course, Ethrin's a special case as she gets to use
A level courtesy of being of Baldo Ancestory. :^)
Fairly weak early on, she nears more usefulness once
she gets the Light Sword, but once you clear Mackly
castle in chapter 2, forget it, she's past her use.
Give her the Silver Claymore you'll win in chapter 3
so she can pass it and the Light Sword on to Leaf
in the second generation... The Elite ring
is a nice contribution as well.

    Finn:

T's Commentary
Finn is the oddball. He's the only character that fights in both
parts of the game, and yet there's nothing really speical about him. Try
to get his class change before he leaves with Cuan and Ethrin...that way
he'll have enough power to help in the 2nd half of the game.

		Fox's Commentary - Finn rules. ^_^ Give him Kyuwan's B
level spear once you get to the first turn of chapter
1 and have him sell his Iron spear, and buy the
Javelin in the shop, then have Kyuwan buy the Iron
spear, the result is Kyuwan and Finn being equal,
that early on, that is very cool. :^)

   Ayra:

T's Commentary:
Okay....I'm gonna put it to you like this. AYRA IS GOD!! There are
only 2 people who beat her out on the Battlefield(One is her
daughter...The other her Nephew!^_^) and after her class change she's
unstoppable. Make sure to have her fall in love with Hollin as her kids
will be insanely powerful because of the skills they inheirt. As an
added bonus having Hollin pursue Ayra will result in Ayra getting a Hero
sword. This means she can concievably attack...well...Put it this
way...NOTHING can survive long enough for her to do all her potential
hits.^_^

Fox's Commentary - On everything but the Holin marrage,
I agree 100%, With the Hero Sword, Advancing,
Continue, and Ryouseiken, she's invincible. ^_^
I like having her marry Lex, though... He too
can give her a Hero sword... For a REAL
challenge though, try getting the Hero Sword
and marrying her to Noiche, add Berserk and
Dual to their children's list of skills. ^_^
				Hero sword + Advancing + Continue + Dual +
				Berserk + Ryouseiken (Shooting star) = 120
hits. Not 100% every time, but hey, I'll be
damned if you show me the enemy in FE4 that can
survive 120 hits. (Especially as the max HP
is 80, and units do 1 damage even if the
enemy's defense is higher than their attack.
							 ~_^)

   Hollin:

T's Commentary:
Ayras counterpart, Hollin unfortuently lacks Ayras shooting star
skill. He makes up for it with the Moonlight hit, which IGNORES defense
for that attack. It's the perfect foil for Armor class eneimes, and he's
pretty fast to boot.

Fox's Commentary - Holin makes good bait. :^) Especially
as he can fight back. Holin makes a good combo
when paired off with Sylvia... Lynn, your
second gen dancer will end up with Moonlight. :^)

   Lacheis:

T's Commentary:
Most people don't give Lacheis alot of credit, and I don't see
why. She starts out weak but once she starts gaining levels she's quite
strong. I still use her more for healing then attacking though...

Fox's Commentary - Heh, Lachesis goes deadly once she
promotes... From level 12 and up she's on par
with Arek and Noiche, and once she promotes, well...
What's there to say? There's only five items in the
first gen she can't use, Aura, the Tierfing, the
Circlet, Folseti, and the Geiborg, everything else,
(which is a-damned-lot) she can use. :^)

      Beowulf:

T's Commentary:
Beowulf, like Alec and Noish, is neither particualy useful or
useless. He's stronger then either of the 2, but still pretty weak. I
never used him that much.

Fox's Commentary - I like giving Beowulf the Thundersword,
Magic ring, an Armor cutter, and the Wing Clipper.
Beowulf's not THAT impressive stat or skill wise, but
considering he has no holy blood, he's very
			effective.

    Alec and Noish:

T's Commentary:
I put these 2 together because, even though they have diffrent
skills, their pretty much the same. Their pretty weak, but not weak
enough to make them useless. I guess I never used them enough to give
them a chance^_^

Fox's Commentary - T, use them. Noiche has Berserk and
Dual, which works out AWESOMELY once you get him
to level 15 and up, (we're talking troop lawnmower,
here...) And Noiche is going to get paired off with
Ayra on my save this time 'round... Berserk shooting
			star, nomatter WHAT weapon! WAHOO!

As for Arek, I like him, but not many people see his
true purpose, Arek has awareness, WHY would he have
this skill? Stop to consider that Awareness cancels
shooting star sword, and Ayra has shooting star
sword, and she starts as an enemy... Arek's here to
make recruiting Ayra easier. Plus... Arek's really
vicious promoted in chapter 5 with a wing clipper...

  T's Commentary Revised:
Okay..I took Fox's advice and I agree with him. Arek is cool..he's
REALLY fast and can take pretty much anyone(He gets vote for best Shock
Trooper) Noiche is tougher due to lack of advancing but delevers a more
powerful hit.

   Deu:

T's Commentary:
	Ahhhh...Deu. Deu is a pretty interesting charcter. He's REALLY(and
I mean REALLY) weak before class change...But if you DO get him to class
change he is a REALLY good fighter. He's not as good as Ayra or Sigurd,
but he can easily hold his own if given a good Light sword(Like the
Silver Sword).

Fox's commentary - Deu is a flipflop, you wouldn't THINK
that this level 1 thief could take out a whole squad
of Barbarians, but put him in the forest, and they
have a ~ZERO~ hit percentage on him... That means he
can dodge and hit without fear! ~THIS~ is how you're
suppose to keep the barbarians away from Edin when
you're retreating... Plus Deu turns evil after his
promotion, getting Advancing and Sun blade. Some
like marrying Deu and Ayra off, for the Sunblade
			addition to Shooting star.

  Diadora:

T's Commentary:
I'm not gonna say much for her because you only get to use her for a
chapter and a half. She's quite useful, since she can attack and heal
really well. Use her for Mage bashing. She'll always have the advantage
since she uses Light Magic.

Fox's commentary - Diadora is here for two reasons, and the
second one doesn't count. Diadora is here to silence
the Ropto cult follower on Verdane castle. HELL! if
she DIES somehow, you'll get her back upon completion
of the chapter! This ties in with the second reason,
as she's here to further the plot.

  Azel:

T's Commentary:
Azel is a pretty good character. He's quite useful for those
finsihing blows since he's fast enough to pull a second attack off most
of the time, and he can attack from a distance to boot. He gets even
more useful at class change, Because he gets a horse and can move away
after attacking(Like all mounted units can)

Fox's Commentary - Azel is odd for a Fire mage, he's
FAST, unlike most fire mages, as Fire magic
drops speed by 12... Plus he can kill most of
the enemies in the first two areas in one shot.
Post Promotion he doesn't really gain much...
You never get to use an A level fire magic in
the first generation, and B level magic is
pointless as he gets the B level firemagic, Elfire,
right off the bat in chapter 3. Plus Chapter 4
is FULL of Wind mages, who by sheer coincidence,
just happen to have a major disadvantage to Fire
			Magic...

  Tiltyu:

T's Commentary: I'll be honest...Tilytu is one of my favorite
characters. She starts with an A level Thunder spell that looks awesome.
She also has one the best abilitys in the game...wrath. Basicly when she
loses half her HP she'll ALWAYS pull a critical hit. Since most units
don't have a high magic resistance she'll probibly end up killing them.
She class changes to a Mage Fighter and becomes even more useful since
she gains some defense and attacking power from it. All in all, Tiltyu
is a good character to use.

Fox's Commentary - Tiltyu is really cool. :^) She starts
with the A level thunder magic, Torron, and sadly,
doesn't have her shining advantages for long, for
the most part she won't get used much, because she
starts so low so late in. And Windmagic gets a bonus
over Thunder spells, so it's safe to say you won't
use Tiltyu that much until chapter 5. Usually it's
not hard to get her to level 12 using the Arena
and Axe fighters you'll run into in chapter 4.
Plus she's got Wrath, oh YES... Half HP - she
			berserks every hit...

   Edin:

T's Commentary:
Okay...I'm gonna say this about Edin. GIVE HER THE LIBRA STAFF YOU
GET IN CHAPTER 2!!! Without this staff she is a Mediocre charcter
that's good at healing, But with the Libra staff she can heal from a
distance and becomes EXTREMLY useful. When she gets her class change she
can use attack magic, Which is okay...But keep her away from the front
lines and use her as a healer.

Fox's commentary - Edin's... more useful than most would
assume. While I've seen rocks move faster than
her, she's of decent speed and stats. She, like
Diadora, is someone who's mostly here for plot
reasons, and they never bothered to pull her out
like they did Diadora. Ofcourse, Edin gets to pass
along most (if not all) of her staves to Rana, her
daughter (Who has an eternal bad hair day), which
'll let you get a VERY useful healer in chapter 6.
Unfortunetly, she has absolutely NO skills, so you'd
better pair her off with someone with many skills.

   Fury:

T's Commentary:
Fury rocks. She's not super powerful, But she's still strong. She is
SUPER fast(Faster then Ayra!) and, given the Hero Spear, Wreck all sorts
of damage on the bad guys. At Class change she can use low level staffs,
which means she also makes a Great Mobile healer! She ain't Ayra, but
Fury can still kick some serious butt when it comes down to grind.

Fox's Commentary - Fury is evil, give her the Hero spear,
Wind sword, and Arm ring, and let her go balistic.
:^) The things she can do are unbelievable,
especially considering she has no holy blood, which
in more than one occasion is the only thing that
salvages a character. (IE - Kyuwan and Holin.)

  Levin:

T's Commentary:
Hehehehehe...Levin is one Lopsided Character. He's a really good
mage, but when he gets the Holsety spell he kicks all ass. In fact, With
the Holsety spell he ties with Ayra for Most Destructive Person in the
first half of the game. At class change he can use staffs, But you'll
have him on the front lines blasting people with Holsety...So who
cares?^_^

Fox's Commentary - This guy's my role model. :^) Not only
is he a Wind mage, my fav kind of mage, but he's a
			~~POWERFUL~~ Windmage, actually, technically, he's
a Bard, but I can't think of one person insane
enough to bother giving him anything but Windmagic
to fight with. Levin and Fury are an easy couple
to get, and usually their kids rule. :^) Of course,
there's several mix/matches that you can do that
			result in better kids.

   Claude:

T's Commentary:
Think Edin...Now think Edin on Steroids. Claude is good for one thing
and that's healing. In fact, That's all he can do. He also comes with
the Valkyrie staff, Which is your ticket to resurrecting people. He has
the HIGHLY useful group healing staff, and thats why I like him better
then Edin. Be sure to pair him off with Sylvia so you get His Mass
Healing and Valkyrie Staffs for the 2nd half and the game. Oh yeah...He
comes with a Libra Staff(The Long Distance Heal Staff) so that's a plus
too.

Fox's Commentary - Edin on Steroids and Straight hair, you
mean. :^) Of course, Claude suffers from the same
problem Edin doess, and that's No skills, decent
stats, but really low skills, and unfortunetly,
marrying him to Edin, Fury, or Sylvia, is the only
way to pass on his ~RESERVE~ staff to the second
gen. Fury, Sylvia, and Tiltyu let you pass on
the Valk staff. (Yes, Arthur gets to use the Valk
staff with Claude as his dad... don't ask...)

   Slyvia:

T's Commentary:
I will say this once and only once. AS MUCH AS THEY LOOK LIKE
IT...DANCERS ARE NOT FIGHTERS!! Keep Sylvia near Claude. Not only will
this help them to fall in love, but with Sylvia's dance Claude can heal
twice a round. Really useful if only 2 or 3 people are injured and you
don't wanna watse a use from the Mass Healing staff.

Fox's Commentary - Sylvia is odd, once she hits level 12,
her stats have gone up enough to where she can take
out an Axe armor solo. (Seriously) Unfortunetly,
Dancers don't promote, soo... You don't get to
see a Dancing Fighter... (Although, the Dancer's
berserk is pretty frickin awesome if you see it...)

  Adan:

T's Commentary:
Okay. I'll say this. Adan is really strong. Quite strong. But he's so
slow by the time he gets to the front line you've already killed the bad
guys. Use him for guarding castles, have him fight in the arena once in
a while and he'll do quite fine. Just keep him away from Mages....

Fox's commentary - Adan isn't THAT slow, if I can get him
to ~VERDANE CASTLE~ from Evans castle in 26 turns,
we know he's not THAT slow. (Seriously folks,
I've done this...) However, I find him to be a
great road block in chokepoints where there's
a 2 tile wide gap and a bunch of units get pinched
in while trying to go through... Toss Adan, and
one other high defense fighter, and support with
Mideel, Ethrin w/ light sword, Jamuka, and maybe
Azel, depending on your mood, and you've got yourself
a nice little road block w/ trap. :^)

  Mideel:

T's Commentary:
Yet ANOTHER Lopsided Character. Mideel is useful, but not too useful.
It's worth keeping him thought since if he falls in Love with Edin, He
can get a Hero Bow...then he becomes a really Good character! In fact,
the nice thing is he gets the Hero Bow in chapter 4, which is where you
encounter Pegasus Knights..and since Arrows always critical on flying
units he can wreak all Havoc there...I ended gaining 3 levels^_^.

Fox's commentary - I don't like Mideel that much, after
all, he did screw up major time with Gandalf,
(seriously... A warrior w/o berserk killing Mideel
with ONE berserk shot...) However, Mideel does
make himself amazingly useful with the Killer bow,
After using him alot, I managed to promote him in
chapter 2, and using the killer bow, I leveled half
of Agusty castle's defenses with JUST Mideel. He's
also one of the few mounted units I'll even dare use
			against units with Knight Killers.

  Jamuka:

T's Commentary:
Whereas Mideel dosen't get powerful until he gets the Hero bow,
Jamuka starts powerful and stays powerful. The bow he starts with, The
Killer Bow, cricticals quite often, and he can use the Powerful A class
Silver Bow to boot! He too can fall in love with Edin, and if you have
him in love with Edin he'll get the Hero Bow instead of Mideel. I
haven't been able to get the 2 together, so I useually stick with
Mideel^_^.

Fox's commentary - Great stats, good skill combo, crap
range. Somehow, Adan beats Jamuka to combat zones.
I don't really use him that much, even once he
promotes, he's still not outstanding. Mideel is...
ALMOST identicle skill wise, while not having the
same stats, mideel makes up for it in range and
determination. (Seriously, if you've ~NEVER~ seen
Mideel go for 8 shots in a row trying to wipe a
general off the face of the map, you're missing an
			expirence...)

  Bridget:

T's Commentary:
Where Mideel is Useful, Jamuka is powerful, and then there's
Bridget. Bridget in the Bow Goddess. She gets the Holy Bow Ichival. And
that Makes her EVEN MORE POWERFUL!! We're talking the Arrow Shooting
Counterpart of Ayra here people...

Fox's commentary - Jamuka beats her to the front lines,
not much to say here, she's only got advancing, and
even that's class related, pick a GOOD husband for
her, otherwise Faval and Pati won't have any decent
			combat skills to speak of.

    Rex:

T's Commentary:
And Lastly, We have Rex. Rex is an Okay person. Here's a hint. DON'T
DITCH THE WEAPON HE STARTS WITH!! In chapter 1...if you take him out
onto the lake on the Peninsula on the west side of the map(You'll see
what I mean) He'll get the Hero Axe. Now Listen to this: Aside from
the Legendary Weapons THE HERO STUFF IS THE BEST STUFF IN THE GAME!!
Okay...You got that? I THOUGHT SO!!^_^

Fox's commentary - Lex has more defense than Adan. ^_^
If you need to take out a squad of Axe or spear
armors, Lex is your man, Almost regardless of level,
his Axes are DEADLY. Lex also has elite, IE - he can
hit level 12 while every one else is still level 6.
Elite boosts EXP x2. (Actually, number wise, it'll
be more around 9 as you don't gain as much EXP from
lower level enemies, which basically leaves him head
and shoulders level wise beyond the rest. Using him
sparingly [and I do mean sparingly], I managed to
promote him even though he didn't even have 9 kills
on his war record.) Plus Lex with a Hero axe is
just death incarnate, Death doesn't use a Scythe, he
			uses a Hero's Axe.

        Second Half of the Game
(Note: After sticking T's Commentary on the previous list I'm just
gonna say this: My Commentary is the first one =p)

Note 2: Not ALL Combinations are covered(Yet) Eventually they will
be, but what's listed are Common and Uncommon pairings that will result
in above average(Or Below Average) Children.

    Sellis:
Why oh why did they do this? Sellis starts off as the Young
Lord Class. The Young Lord Class is a SwordFighting class on foot. It
dosen't have the speed of the SwordFighter class. It dosen't have the
Strength. In fact...It dosen't really excel in anything. It's completly
balenced out, and because of that it's rather hard to level up. It IS
worth it, Because when Sellis class-changes to Lord he gets even
stronger then his Father! He can get a Hero Sword, and you'll end up
using it until you get the Tirfing back in the 2nd half of the game.
Once he gets the Tirfing Sellis is the equivelnt of a Brick Wall. Large,
Itimidating and about as hard to Damage. Use him for a Damage
magnet(That can fight back!^_^), but make sure you have a healer on hand
since he's the Main character for the 2nd half of the game.(Meaning if
he dies it's game over).

Fox's commentary - Selis makes good cannon fodder,
not much else. You had BETTER get him to
level 30 though, or else you will ~SUFFER~
and torment over several of the enemies in
the final area, and if it's at all possible
~TRY~ to get 50 kills MINIMAL on the Tilving.
Why? at 50 kills any weapon gets berserk. ^_^
Oh yeah, he's got awareness too...

    Sukashka as Hollins Son:
An interesting character. Sukashka is ALOT like Hollin, but he
seems to be a bit slower. Since he's Ayras son he has her shooting Star
hit, and it's for this skill alone he makes a good front line fighter.
Be careful..Since he's not as fast as the other Swordfighters he'll get
hit more often. He DOES have a bit higher defense to balence it out
though^_^

			Fox's commentary - Don't bother, Holin LOWERS
Skasaha and Rakche's speed, and Moonlight
hit isn't that useful in combo with shooting
star, INFACT, you can't trigger two
swordskills at once, so don't even bother
trying this, plus Ayra and Holin are cousins,
so this is only more proof that it's worse.
				Inbreeding results in MUTANTS!

  Sukasaha as Lexs Son:

This is a scary combination. Hollin now has a HUGE Defense and
Strength...Give him the Silver Claymore and watch him whack enemys to
death. He's slower as Lex's Son...But the Strength and Defense he gains
makes it worthwhile. PLUS he gets PinchStrike..which basiclys means he
can nail anyone before they can hurt him when he's at least then 1/2 Hp
AND Elite...meaning he'll gain his levels REALLY Fast.

Fox's commentary - Now ~HERE~ is where Skasaha is
the most useful, as Lex's brat, not only does
he have a really vicious skill set, we're
talking a frickin TANK here... Skasaha's a tad
faster as Lex's brat, or in my expirence, he
was. (Really it just depends on your luck,
levels are determined by percentages, I got
lucky, and pulled a minimal of 5 stats a level
for 23 levels, so Skasaha was REALLY vicious.)
In my expirence, Skasaha does VERY well with
Magical swords, and would benefit GREATLY from
the Fire or Thunder Swords on him.

  Sukasaha as Claude's Son:

Godforbid you ever try this, it probibly results in one of the most
lopsided and obscenely powerful units in the game. You get the High
Skill, Speed, and Strength of the Swordfighter class..Sukasaha's own
innate high strength and defense AND the High Magic/Magic Defense of
Claude..PLUS the Extra HP's and Magic Defense affored by Blaggi blood!

    Lakche as Hollins Daughter:
Remember what I said about Ayra? Well...FORGET IT!! THIS is the
most powerful person in the GAME!!! Fast, Strong, High Skill, And a Good
Defense to Boot! She can take pretty much any Enemy in the game and
come out on top. Don't get too cocky though...She can't take a hit from
a magic attack.

Fox's commentary - Never tried Holin and Ayra,
but Lakche is almost IMPOSSIBLE to downgrade
by a marrage, in fact, only a marrage of
Ayra and Claude could give you a stat
screwed Lakche, and even then, she'd be
invincible! Lakche is probably the most
powerful unit in the game regardless of
				her father.

  Lackhe as Lex's Daughter:

I cringe as I write this. Lakche is so powerful now, since she now
has Defense, that I was actually feeling guilty for beating up everyone!
If you wanna lay the smack down on someone this is the person to use!

Fox's commentary - Oh blazes yes...

  Lackhe as Claude's Daughter:

See Sukasha's Entry...only Lackhe is Ten Times worst....

     Rana as Mideel's Daughter:
I'm gonna say this first...Rana's hairdo scares me. That said,
I'll say this as well. Rana sucks as a fighter, but is a Top notch
healer. That's really all to say about her^_^.

Fox's commentary - Rana is virtually useless in
every job except healing without the right
				dad...

     Rana as Azel's Daughter:

It's amazing what the right parent can do for a kid. Rana in this
incarnation will end up being one of your most powerful units. She has a
Horredesly High Magic attack..Plus she can use the Elfire Spell! If you
can stand watching that scary hairdo of hers you'll find you have a top
notch fighter.

			Fox's commentary - Rana with Elfire... I think I
can put up with the hairdo if she can fight
this well... This is the ONLY incarnation of
Rana that I don't prefer Mana in her place...
				(Mana is Rana's subunit.)

    Rana as Claude's Daughter:

She dosen't get the Valkyrie Staff, which sucks, Or ANY of
Claude's Staves(Unless their on Edin). She, does, however get an Obscene
Magic Defense. Pretty useless if you ask me though

    Lester as Mideel's Son:
Lester sucks when you get him. He gets moderatly powerful...But he
takes so much damage from hits you might be hesitant to bring him to
front line. He IS rather useful though...Just like Mideel(But at least
Mideel didn't look like a Complete Dweeb!)

Fox's commentary - Lester as mideel's brat would
HAVE to be much better than Lester as ~DEU~'s
brat, which is what I got on my first time
through, I had to give him the continue ring,
Skill ring, and Killer bow ~JUST~ to frickin
~HIT~ a target... But that was with Deu
as father, Lester's much better with any
				other parentage combo.

 Lester as Azel's Son:

Ummm...If you can find a use for this unit(Other then Cannon-Fodder)
let me know...'kay? Seriously...Lester is so weak that it just ain't
worth using him! And I thought it was impossible to suck more then
Delmund....

Fox's commentary - Actually, he's not THAT bad,
aside from the fact he needs one of the Arm
rings just to do decent damage. As Azel's
brat his stats are high, infact, Lester
as a Master knight would be PERFECT because
his stats are so... uniform. At level 22
his stats were 19, ALL 19...

   Lester as Claude's Son:
Is it just me or is Lester sucking MORE the more I try and make
him useful? Sigh..The things I do for completness. Don't even
Bother...Claude makes a horrible mate for Edin anyway...

    Delmund as Beowulfs Son:
Well...Final Fantasy Tactics had Malak, and Final Fantasy 7 had
Cait Sith...But I think Delmund gets the award for being the First
Useless character in a Video Game. I'm serious. This guy blows like
nothing else. I used him for the map you get him in and that was it. Let
him rot in the castle...He's just a liability on the
Battlefield(Although he DOES make good Cannon Fodder^_^)

Fox's commentary - Level him and he CAN get decent,
but his evade is ~CRAP~, this is the only
case I've ever seen of two HIGH evade people
giving birth to a ~LOW~ evade person...
If you can put up with his Lead-brickedness,
he'll be a good fighter, but otherwise...
				Let him rot.

    Delmund as Finn's Son:

Beleive it or not Delmund does NOT suck this time!! Nothing
major..But HE DOES NOT SUCK!!

Fox's commentary - Delmud improves greatly...
Speed goes OFF THE CHART, expect him to
hit 30, SERIOUSLY expect him to hit 30
speed, his Luck will be abnormally
high as well, and Prayer'll only ADD to
it. I like having Finn kill Shagaar in
chapter 3 so he can pass on the Silver
				Claymore to Delmud.

    Delmund as Lex's Son:

I tried this one for Kicks, and BOY was I surprised. Lex's Holy
Blood(and Own High Growth rates) help make up for Delmunds BIGGEST
weakness..A Low Evade Rate coupled with Low HP and Defense. Between the
Bonus from the Neir Blood and the Hezul blood Delmund ends up becoming a
MONSTER. If your hell bent on Free Knights, this is a good path to
Follow.

    Arthur as Azel's Son:
Well..Arthur can't use Level A spells until his class change, and
that makes him hard to level up. He is Supriengly strong, So I suggest
you at least try to build him up.

Fox's commentary - A good, well rounded unit,
				Ironically enough, despite his Tordo
ancestory the only spell he'll have no matter
what, is a Wind book... Needless to say
I overused him... Once he promotes, give him
Torron, and watch the electric sparks fly!

   Arthur as Levin's Son:
ACK!!! Okay...Here's the Equation: Arthur w/ Holsety + an Enemy =
One Enemy Plastered all over the map..The map before, and the map coming
up. He's THAT powerful. The only 2 Units that managed to survive a round
of combat with this guy were Yurious and Alvis

Fox's commentary - *Bows in homage*

    Fee as Levin's Daughter:
Fee rocks. She starts off weak but once she starts gaining levels
she's like a Mac Truck on a rampage. Be careful though...She's really
fast, but when she does get nailed she has trouble handling it.

Fox's commentary - I got lucky and she had a nice
defense on both my files, I'm debating
tossing AZEL and Fury together, just for
				the nice potential combination of
Fee having a HIGH magical power, and
Seti having A level fire magic...

Fee as Alec's Daughter:(May have the wrong name..it's the one with the
Turban):

Arrows Do Critical Damage to Flying units. Awareness prvents
Critical Hits. I end up cackeling maniacly as I pull hit and run attacks
on the enemy's rear line. 'Nuff said.

Fox's commentary - It is Arek, and this actually
lowers her overall effectiveness, but the
advantage of Awareness means one thing, and one
thing alone - Psychopathic Archer bashing.

   Shannan:
Hmmmm, The Fire Emblem guys must have been upset about giving 'ya
a Lemon like Delmund, so they threw this guy at you as kind of
repayment. YES...This guy is the kid you saved from the Castle Ayra was
guarding in chapter 1! He gets the Balmunk as soon as he talks to
Pati(Who he starts next to) in the chapter you get him. With the Balmunk
he is almost completly Untouchable. In fact...I ended up having him kill
all the mages guarding the castle that he starts near^_^. If for some
reason you DON'T get the Balmunk(ARE YOU NUTS?!?!?) he's still pretty
good, But not very.

Fox's commentary - Ironically enough, this is the
only case where a non * level sword beats
a * level sword... However, despite the
fact that Lakche tends to out-preform him,
Shanan is the upper end unit of choice,
the Balmunk gives such an insane boost to
skill, forget his hit Percentage, there's
only 4 units he ~CAN'T~ hit, the major
thing is the boost to Luck, He's ~IMPOSSIBLE~
				to hit...

  Pati as Noich's Daughter:
Hehehhehe...I like Pati. She looks neat and she's a better fighter
then Deu. She's still a theif though, So she's weak before class change.
Here's a little trick to help her build up levels. Have her fall in love
with someone(You do it the same way as the first half of the game) and
then just pass her money with her lovers. Since theifs gain 10 exp
everytime they pass out cash...^_^. Anyway...As a Theif Fighter she's
like an Underpowered Shannon. She's not strong enough to take on Mages
and the Big Units...but against the Cannon Fodder(Everything else^_^)
she does quite well.

Fox's commentary - Not a bad unit, not outstanding,
but I personally like large groups of non-
outstanding units to a group of outstanding
				units. (Don't ask)

  Pati as Deu's Daughter:
AHHH! They keep getting more and more Powerful. I have YET to have
Pati damaged by an attack..She even avoided a shot from Loputous!! Not
to mention she gets a Huge Strength. Who cares that her defenses are
low..it's not Like she's gonna be HIT anytime soon!

			Fox's commentary - I haven't had the same luck
with evade from this incarnation, but
I got really lucky skill wise... hell...
I gave her the Defender, and tossed her out in
a group of Axe Armors, ended 5 turns, and
the Axe armors died, Pati gained 4 levels,
and on the few times she got hit she sapped
				all her HP back. ^_^

  Leif:
As a prince Leif is REALLY weak. I hope you got and gave Ethrin the
advance attack ring before she left earlier in the game because he NEEDS
it. It's worth it to level him up though, Since he class changes into
Master Knight...The BEST class in the game!! Unfortunetly he dosen't
have the staying power to take on Mages, but he does well against
everything else.

Fox's commentary - one of my fav units....
Oddly enough, last game, he ended up with
more Magical power than physical power...
could have been the fact that once I was
finished playing around with Pati vs the
Armor knights, I switched out the Light
sword Leif has with Pati's defender, gave
Leif the Lightning book, and shipped him
out. Leif rules. I won't even bother
talking about his combat preformance, after
seeing Lachesis, just be prepared for someone
				who's twice as powerul...

  Finn:
Finns back. That's all I'm gonna say...Actually..I'm gonna say more.
Finn sucks if he dosen't have a Silver lance...there..Done talking about
Finn.^_~

Fox's commentary - Finn... What's there to say,
other than he's cool. ^_^ I like giving
him a Thin lance, Javelin, and Silver spear,
combined with a speed ring for overkill.

   Oiyafe:
Okay...I'm gonna say one thing. The game gave 'ya Oyifaye so you'd
have someone to help you while you get New chacters and level up. By
about the 3rd map he'll be outdated and weak, So use him for guarding
castles(Or Cannon Fodder^_~)

Fox's commentary - Ooh goodie, Oifaye, the only
Paladin who's got equal stats to Arek and
				Noiche's level 4 stats...
Not much to say for him exept he brings
a MUCH needed JAVELIN into your group, and
unlike FE1 and 3, you don't get a crapload of
				javelins to toy with...

    Nanna as Beowulf's Daughter:
I like Nanna. Theirs nothing too speical about her. She's an okay
attacker as a Troubador, a Good attacker as a Paladin but I use her as a
Mobile Healer and she does quite well doing that^_^

			Fox's commentary - Nanna isn't really super
effective, no matter who she has as her father,
this is one of the better results, though.

  Nanna as Finn's Daughter:
She's ALOT Better on the battlefield. Not much else to say^_~

Fox's commentary - She doesn't get the good fun stuff
that Delmud does, and she's not as good of
a lawnmower, but... She's still vicious and
deadly and tends to be very useful in group
				attacks.

  Nanna as Lex's Daughter:

Like Delmund, Lex helps cover her own weaknesses. She has a lower
Magic this way, which is bad for a Troubadour, So it's your call.

   Ares:
Hmmm...As if Lakche, Shannon and Sety wasn't enough. I could say
alot about Ares but instead I'll say this...If you send Ares into a pack
of enemies...You'll most likely end up with a Pile of dead eneimes. He's
like Lakche but has WAAAAAAAAAAAAY better Defense. He's great for taking
out Mages. In fact...he's the ONLY character(At the Point you first face
Yurius) who can take a Hit from Yurius' Darkness Spell...and that's at
Level 30(Max Level for all Characters). Be careful using him...As he'll
probibly kill everything and then everyone will have a hard time gaining
experience^_^

			Fox's commentary - Eltoshan's son... but unlike
Eltoshan, Ares has skills... and skills
he has... He's got Pinch strike, Advancing,
Continue, and the inate berserk of the
Mistortin... Let's just say that if you
intend to use him in a group, you MIGHT
want to downgrade him to an Iron Claymore...

   Sety as Levin's Son:
Well..I just mentioned him so I might as well tell about him. Sety is
awesome. He's like Levin on Steroids. He's almost impossible to hit
because of his speed. Oh yeah...He has the Holsety spell too. A Great
character and much needed. Use him and Ares and you'll be able to take
out almost everything in 2 rounds.

			Fox's commentary - Seti's... Seti, nothing else
to it, with Holseti (which can also be
romanized as FORseti), he tends to leave
a trail of bodies behind him. Unlike Levin,
Seti has advancing couresy of Fury.

  Sety as Alec's Son:
Hehehehe..Sety ROCKS No matter WHO His Dad is!! His best attack is
Light magic in this incarnation..and WHOO BOY is it good! He's also VERY
Fast...so stick him on the front line and have him whack People

Fox's commentary - Never tried this, but Go figure,
Seti will be Seti, and C level lightmagic is
equal to A level Wind and Thunder magic,
doesn't quite beat A level fire magic power
wise, but A level fire mages will be HARD
pressed to hit with the Light to Fire
				disadvantage.

Sety as Claude's Son: Okay..Light Magic AND The Valkyrie Staff AND Any
other staff you'd want? Isn't that a Bit much?

			Fox's commentary - Perfect T, just perfect. :^)

  Lynn as Claude's Daughter:
Another Dancer? Well, I guess you need one. I never really used the
Dancers, so I won't say much.

Fox's commentary - UGH, inbredded brat... Her
				stats suck majorly this way...

  Lynn as Hollin's Daughter:
Takes a bit of work to get her reved up..But once she does give her
the Sheild Ring and Fire Sword and watch her WHACK Anything that comes
up to her.

Fox's commentary - I've said good things about this
before, and I'll repeat them, Lynn can take
ALOT of enemies before she has to fear
anything, Her evade, Magic defense, and the
Sword skills she gets from Holin will make
her a VERY effective mage killer.

   Tinny as Azel's Daughter:
Gotta love the Hair! She's alot like Arthur, but when class change
comes she's awesome. She's like Pati but alittle weaker. Does quite well
against Cannon Fodder.

Fox's commentary - I find the hair odd, but still
neat, I liked Tiltyu's hair better though.
Tinny usually gets Volcannon on my files, if
she's Azel's brat, and then I shove her
against alot of units, she's comparable to
Tiltyu, though, as Tiltyu did better as a
Mage fighter on my save. :^/

  Tinny as Levin's Daughter:
    MUCH Better in this incarnation.

Fox's commentary - Tornado and Torron... I say no
				more.

  Yuria:
Well, She's kinda an Importent Story Character, so I won't say
much...BUT DON'T KILL HER IF YOUR GIVEN THE CHANCE!!! You'll see why
when I get the walkthrough up^_^ Otherwise she's REALLY Good at Magic.
Use her for taking hits from Spells...She has the Highest Magic Defense
of all your guys.

			Fox's commentary - We're talking overkill here,
it's ~NOT~ uncommon for her to hit 30
Magic attack and 30 Magic defense...
Once she gets Narga, the * level light
magic, what can I say, an attack of 60,
and the ANNOYINGLY high fact that she'll
hit 3 to 4 times in a row because of a high
skill... Well, it's not so annoying on
		the final boss. ~_^

   Yohan/Yohalvier
These 2 are listed together because you have to choose between them.
I prefier Yolhavier since he's Mounted. Their both like Rex but don't
have Elite. I never used them that much either.

Fox's commentary - T got them backwards, Johalvier
is on foot, Johan is mounted, but Johalvier
is THE unit of choice here, mainly because
picking him makes it easy for you to get
Rizziah for Yuria, and the fact that Promoted
				Johalvier + Knight ring + Leg ring + Hero's
Bow + Hero's axe = DEAD AIR UNITS.
Did I mention you'll fight alot of air units
				in chapter 9?

   Hannibal:
Hannibal Rocks!! He's hard to get but worth it. He's General Class,
and that means LOTS of Defence. He's a Great Damage Magnet, but avoid
Mages like they were waving Signs labeled 'We want to Smoother you in
Fire Ants'.

			Fox's commentary - I like Adan better. :^/
				Hannibal, ironically enough, has a
lower magic defense than ADan at the same
level. Hannibal does come in handy
				if you haven't promoted Johalvier,
as he gets the same general EQ and
only gets to move one tile shorter,
but he's a tad slower and his axe berserk
is nowhere as NEAR as cool as Johalviers.

   Coupl as Claude's Son:
Okay...Biggest rip off in the game. He's Basicly Claude in a Lower
Class^_^ Enough about him^_^

Fox's commentary - Um, I've seen better preforming
				frizbies.

   Coupl as Hollins Son:
Actually he isn't very diffrent. Bit better defense.

Fox's commentary - Which means you won't be as
paranoid about having him fight in battles...

  Althena:
Another hard to get but worth it Character. Althena weilds the Gae-
Borg and as such is Super Strong. However since she's a Dragon Rider she
has the Lowest Magic Defense in the game and is weak against arrows.
Unless you have a Death Wish avoid Mages and Archers.

			Fox's commentary - Actually, she's not that
bad against Mages, and her magic defense
isn't the lowest, the lowest is Hannibal.
Altena and Coupl get a conversation that
boosts her Mdef by 5, which shoved her up to
8 on my file, and a Barrier ring puts her
at 13. :^) Altena is... DEADLY... Give
her a Javelin and the Geiborg and she'll
				give you a dead army.

   Faval as Noich's Son:
Nothing Major About Faval, Except he uses the Ichival. In my
opinion though he seems a Bit weaker then Bridget...Oh well...

Fox's commentary - He does inherit his father's
habit of shouting "Come get me" on the
battlefield... Noiche is a damage magnet,
and Archers tend to get singled out in fights.

   Faval as Deu's Son:
      Meet Mr. Bow God^_~

			Fox's commentary - Hear here!

     General Strategys

    1. Game events ONLY happen when you Conquer castles. Between the
time that you kill the general and Sigurd(Or Selis) Conquers it, Move
your characters into posistion and heal!

    2. Fighting Everyone will just give you a headache! MANY Battles can
be averted or Lessened by having characters TALK! Examples:

When Althena rushes you in chapter 7(Have Leif talk to her)
When Eltosian Attacks in Chapter 3(Have Lacheis talk to him)
When Arion appears in the last Chapter(Have Altena Talk to him)

    3. Know your Weaknesses! Fire Emblem has a Janken(Rock Paper
Scisors) style system of weapons. They are as follows:

Lance beats sword(Due to it's longer reach)
Sword beats axe(Due to it's lighter weight he can outmenuver it)
Axe beats lance(He can just hack the lance apart)

Magic uses a similar system as well:

          Wind beats lightning
          Lightning beats fire
          fire beats wind.

Light and dark magic beat all magic, And Light magic beats Dark
Magic.

   FURTHERMORE...Some classes have natural weaknesses.

ALL flying units take critical damage from arrow attacks. This
includes attacks from Shooters.

    4. When in doubt..RESET! Save BEFORE you conquer a Castle...That way
if something goes wrong you can reset and get in better posistion.

    5. Theifs, Mages, and Prince/Princess' get VERY Powerful when they
get their Class Change. It's worth the effort to level them up.

   Basic Tips

If you trying to get 2 units to fall in love keep them together at
ALL times...Major points are when you conquer a castle and Finish a
Chapter...and don't fret if they aren't together before Chapter 5...you
have until the 2nd castle in Chap 5 is liberated before the matches are
'Set'.

The Females must survive Chap 5 in order to have the Children..but the
Males can die if you are so Inclinded.

Your pairings in the 1st Half will determine your strategy in the 2nd
half, so plan ahead.

   Advanaced Strategy

Easy to Get Character Pairings: If you don't want to put much effort
into pairing up your characters, but don't want to be stuck with the Sub
Units, try this pairings. They may not be the best, but their very easy
to get.

Sigurd and Diadora(This is an Automatic Pairing. You don't have to
do anything)

Well...You don't have much choice with this one^_^. It results in the
Character 'Selis'. Selis starts off as a Young Lord. He will Inherit
Sigurds Equipment.

    Cuan and Ethrinn(Another Automatic Pairing)

This couple results in Leif, Who is Prince class and Althena, who
is Dragon Rider class. Leif will Inheirit Ethrin's Swords and Rings,
while Althena will Inherit Cuans Equipment

      Ayra and Hollin

A Very Easy couple to get together. Simply have Hollin talk to
her at the Beginning of Chapter 3...and then keep them together as they
fight. This Combination will result in the OBSCENELY Powerful Sukaska
and Lakche. They will both have Ayra's Meteor Sword AND Hollins
Moonlight hit...IN ADDITION This combination will result in Hollin
giving Ayra a Hero Sword...Which is probibly one of the best weapons in
the game. Lakche will Inheirent Ayra's equipment, while Sukaska will
inherit his fathers equipment.

   Edin and Mideel

A Rather easy couple to get(Simply have them talk in chapter 1 and
then have Mideel always stay near Edin). Results in the Preistess Rana
and Bow Knight Lester. Rana has this freaky Hair Cut but makes a REALLY
good healer, and Lester is almost exactly like his father Stat wise.
Rana gets Edin's stuff, While Lester gets his fathers

   Sylvia and Claude

VERY IMPORTENT!! MAKE THIS COUPLE AT ALL COSTS! Otherwise you
won't have Claudes group healing staff or Valkyrie Staff for the second
half of the game! Daughter is Dancer Lynn, Son is Priest Coupl

   Beowulf and Lachiess

Lacheis is an interesting character to find a mate for. I would
go with Deu, but RukesRiese let me know attacks like Moonlight Hit, Sun
Hit and Shooting Star Hit don't work on horseback, So I'll go with
Beowulf. Beowulf will give Lachies' children the advancing skill...which
is a VERY good skill to have. Her daughter, Nanna, will be a troubadour
and her Son Delmund will be a Free Lancer

  Bridget and Jamuka

Her Son Faval will inherit the Ichival...and since Bridget and
Jamuka are both Archers the skills he'll have will make him the king bow
man of the battlefield...Kind of like the archer equivilent of
Lachke^_^. Her daughter will be Pati the theif.

  Azel and Tiltyu

Hehehehe...Their children are weak before Class Change...Obscenely
Powerful afterwards. Hehehehe^_^

   Fury and Levin
One of the easiest combinations to get. Fury's son will Inherit
the Holsety Spell, and her Daughter Fury's equipment.

    Story

   Dramatis Personae

  House of Chalphy:

  Lord Byron:
Sigurds Father, and a close friend of the Emperor. He is widely
regarded as one of the best Swordsmen on the Continent, and pocesses a
sense of honor beyond renown. He is the current Wielder of the Tyrfing

  Lady Ethrin:
Sigurds Sister, and Wife of Cuan of Lenstarr. The house of Lenstarr
and Chalphy have always had close ties, but this marriage has bonded
them in blood as well. Ethrin is a Tomboy, but has a distinct Feminine
Streak as well. She leaves in chapter 4 when she and Kyuwan find she's
pregnant with Altena, and during the ? year gap inbetween chapter 4 and
5 she also gives birth to Leaf.

  Lord Sigurd:
The main Character for the 1st half of Fire Emblem 4. Sigurd
pocesses a Sense of Honor like that of his father, and is deeply
commited to his beleifs. When the neighboring Land of Jungvy is invaded
by Verdane, he rushes to the Rescue of Lady Edin and the neighboring
villages. During the Story, he is given the Title of Holy Knight by the
Emperor, and is later disgraced during a Political Coup. There is more,
but that will be revealed in the Walkthrough^_~

 Sir Alec and Sir Noich:

Knights under Sigurd. Alec and Noish are very competative of each
other, but are very good friends as well. Alec is brash, and Noish is a
notorius Skirt Chaser.

 Sir Adan:
Another Knight Under Sigurd, Adan is described by Alec as following
the Chalphy Three S standard to a T..STRONG...STEADY...SLOW. Although he
looks like Fraknestiens Monster, he has a Heart of Gold.

 Lord Olayfaye:

A Distant Realitive of Sigurds, Olayfaye begings the game as a
Child, acting as Sigurds advisor. Although the Relation is distant, he
DOES pocess the Blood of Baldo. During the Second Half of the game he
helps organize and plan the Resistance against Yurious, and will join in
the battle.

 House of Jungvy:

   Lady Edin:

A Kind hearted Healer, Edin is renowned throughout the land as a
Virtous Maiden, and has many Admirers(Among them, Sigurd). It is she who
sparks off the entire War..as Sigurd pursued her into Verdane after she
was captured by Gandalf. Although she cannot use it, Edin holds the Holy
weapon of Ulir..The Ichival

  Lady Bridget:

Ethrins Twin Sister, and as Mideel puts it, 'Even more beautiful then
Edin'(Which is a rather odd term to use for twins) . She was lost at
Sea and adopted by the Orgahill Pirates, and eventualy became their
leader. A series of events reunites her with her Sister, and she joins
under Sigurds Command.

  More to Come
    Cheats -

1 - You can save repeatedly as long as none of your units
are grayed out, this means that you can use the arenas
on the first turn, saving after every fight, and resetting
if the next fight can't be won, this will save you much
time during deployment as you won't hold units back to heal
		them.

Also..if you can't win an Arena fight..don't think that
Trying again will help..it won't. Try fighting with other characters,
and then try again.

2 - Programmer oversight, put a unit outside the castle, go
inside the castle, select the village option for a unit,
then go to your unit menu, and hit A on the one that's
outside the castle, Poof, your beautiful chapter music
is replaced by the crappy shop music.

Events won't happen until you liberate a castle! Don't have Sigurd
or Selis use the Conquer command until your all healed up and in
posistion.

Not Really a Cheat...But with the Balmunk and at Level 30 Shannon can
avoid almost any attack^_^

Even more nasty...At Level 30 a Promoted Pati as Deu's Daughter WILL
Avoid pretty much any attack^_~

Sometimes if the right character stands in the right place you can
get a secret chat or item:

Have Rex go to the end of the peninsula in Chapter 1(You'll see
what I mean...) and he'll get the Hero axe. The Penninsula can be
reached from the west side of the map after crossing the Large strech of
deep forest that diadora appears in. Note that Lex MUST have the Iron
axe he starts the game with in his Inventory to recieve the Hero Axe.

Have Adan go south of Highline castle in Chapter 2 to get the
advance attack ring(One of the best items! Sell it and have Ethrin buy
it!) After a Certain point in the chapter he can't get this ring but I
don't know where. Supposedly he can't get it if he has a Mate.

If Deu goes to the tower that Claude and Tiltyu came out of he can get
a wind Sword(Give it to Fury.)

If Sylvia rescues one of the northern villages in chapter 4(I'm
sorry...I can't remember which one..) she gets the Defender sword.
See warning by Fox:

There is a known glitch in some versions of the Cart (See: all
the known ROM versions) which can prevent you from getting the
Defender. When Sylvia rescues the village, there seems to be a large
chance of the game locking up when Sylvia starts to dance. This has
happened to me both in Emulator and in Cart. To get around this, you
need to save (Not savestates, the actual save option above end turn)
before you have Sylvia attempt to get it. If the game locks, select
"reset" from the zSNES menu or hit the similarly named button on your
SNES/SFC. Load game, Try again. For me it worked the second time I
tried to get it, but your milage may vary.

If your using the Sub Units, there are many events that can happen that
will boost their stats and give them items. A List is forthcoming. Note
that only the Dancer Subunit can recieve the Barrier Sword.

Have Selis kills Alvis have him go south of the castle(BEFORE he
conquers it) and the ghosts of his parents will give him a regen ring.

Believe it or not..THE WALKTHROUGH IS HERE!!!

Okay..Here's the basic format. Due to the fact the AI will adaept
itself to what you do I'll outline general strategies. From there you
have to formulate your own plan. After the chapter strategys I'll list
the conversations. If I managed to get the gist of the Conversation I'll
give a short little summary. Okay? Good. Heeeeeeereeeee we go!!

                        The Prolouge

The Prolouge opens up in a pinch. One yourside you have Sigurd,
Alec, and Noiche, with Adan in the castle. I recomend you send Sigurd up
and over, taking out the Barbarian on the Village and then the ones in
the forest above the cliff, then on to attack Jungvy from the North.
Alec and Noiche go along the road to the south, falling back if either
of them takes too much damage. Pull Adan from the castle and send him
with Alec and Noiche. At the beginning of Turn 2 Lex and Azel arrive at
the top of the map near the top village. Have the 2 wipe out the
Barbarians nearby and then have Azel procede Southeast to help Sigurd,
and Lex along the top of the map to save the village near the river. On
Turn 3 Finn, Cuan, and Ethrin arrive near Chalphy. Have Ethrin heal Alec
and Noiche, then procede towards Jungvy. Keep Cuan out of Combat..But
have Finn fight a round or 2...if he drops to 5 HP or Below DON'T Heal
him...it means his Prayer skill has kicked in and he won't be getting
hit anytime soon. At Jungvy make SURE Azel kills the Axedude(And have
Ethrin grab the speed ring from the Village below Jungvy). before Selis
conquers the castle have Adan pulg himself where the bridge was and put
Azel behind him, with Alec and Noiche nearby. Have Sigurd conquer the
castle. Enemys pour over the bridge..and are stopped by Adan. Have Alec,
Noche make hit and run attacks, have Azel attack the person in front of
Adan(Supported by Mideel, who you get when you conquer Jungvy. Arvis
should head straight for Sigurd and give him a Silver Sword, and the
disapear. From there have Sigurd mow down any barbarians that are left
at the bridge. For vengence have Mideel poke the boss of the castle full
of holes with his bow. Have Sigurd conquer the castle and BAM! the
Prolouge is over.

  Conversations:
Most of the Conversations are small talk, basicly Sigurd thanking
his friends for helping him out. There is ONE Good Conversation
though^_~

Have Mideel attack the boss of Evans castle:

Boss: HEY! Arrows aren't fair!! Come fight like a man!

 Chapter 1:

The chapter opens up with Sigurd and Cuans Friend Elotoshan promising
to guard their back against the Dukes of Agustria(Notably Highline
Castle) as they press into Verdane to rescue Edin. Kinbois(One of
Verdanes Princes) is talking to a Mercenary who was traveling through
his land and makes her an offer she can't refuse: Guard his castle or
her Nephew gets it.

This chapter marks the 1st time a Character can go to the Arena, so I
recomend you send all the Characters through it.

Upgrade Lex's axe to Steel, but don't sell his Iron Axe. Have Cuan buy
the Iron spear and sell his Steel. Have Finn buy the Steel and The
Javelin in the shop. Have Sigurd sell his Steel sword and have either
Alec or Noishe(Which ever one DOSEN'T Have the Steel Sword already) Buy
it. Have Adan buy the Thin Sword and Give the Iron Lance for Sale to
your Favorite Social Knight.

After the 1st turn Edin and Deu will join your Team. Park Deu in the
Middle of the Forest and Have Edin flee North along the Coast of the
Lake to Sigurds group.

After killing Kinbois with Lex(And Reciving the Throwing Axe) Lure Ayra
out with Noish(Or Alec..whichever has Awareness) for Several Turns then
have Sigurd Run in and capture the castle. Ayra will head towards the
castle after it's conquered, have Sigurd Talk to her. Have Ayra and Deu
go through the Arena.

Head west, Libertaring the Village if it's still standing, and have
Ayra kill the boss and recieve the Skill Ring. Conquer Marpha castle.

Jamuka will advance through the forest, and due to his higher move
rate, will likely arrive near Marpha before his Army. QUICKLY(If no
units are nearby) have Edin go in and Talk to him..then polish off his
Army. Have him go through the Arena.

Thread your Army through the pass in the forest(Gaining Diadora along
the way) and be wary none of them enter the Range of the Fenrir Spell.
Try to bait out the Army around Verdane castle and then, when the coast
is clear, Send Diadora up into Fenrir Range and use her Silence Staff.

While the Boss is Helpless slam your units against him, Making sure
Azel kills the Boss to gain the Magic ring. If Silence Wears off, have
Diadora silence him again.

  Conversations:

    Next Version.

 Chapter 2

The Chapter opens up with Shagall Imprisoning Eltosian and the Cross
Knights, leaving Nodion Defensless Save for 3 paladins and Princess
Lachesis. Obviously, Highline decideds to take advantage of this and
sends out a Task Force for a Full Scale invasion. Sigurd, now Married to
Diadora, reluctantly takes up his sword to protect the Castle of his
Longtime friend. As Highline's Forces are poised to attack Nodion, the
other lords of Augustria watch with bated Breath.

Do your Normal Chapter Prep thing..Juggle Equipment as nesscary, make
repairs, and make ABSOULUTLY sure you clear the Arena with a Character
at some point in this chapter(Ayra should be able to do it at the
Beginning though^_~). Doing so will net you Hollin, a Very powerful
Swordfighter who isn't as agile as Ayra, but is much tougher.

If you want to get the Bargain Ring speed will be of the Essence. You
HAVE to Secure Highline Castle FAST so you can get some Units to defend
the villages in the Center of the Map. If you want the Knight ring you
have to make sure Lachiesis Three Paladins stay alive through the entire
map. AND Your going to have to do some Unit Juggling if you Want Fury!!!
