Kidou Senshi Gundam ~Ghiren no Yabou~ Secrets FAQ ver 1.6
Translation: Mobile Suit Gundam ~Ghiren's Greed~

This is my second attempt at FAQ writing, I think I've gotten better so
I hope it's useful and helpful. I figured out all this by trial and
error and what little knowledge of Japanese I know. I never saw a FAQ
for this game so I figured there should be one, because it's a really
good game. Also some info gleaned from the Ghiren's Greed special disc.
As always any feedback is appreciated. I recently went through the
Action Replay codes section and found a few mistakes. I again apologize
for any people who couldn't get the codes to work. I reviewed each code
and fixed any mistake I found so every thing should finally be in
order. Once again I'M REALLY SORRY. Also take note the Saturn version
is very different than the PS version.

1.	Notes
Ghiren's Greed is a war simulation game for Sega Saturn. It entails the
events of the One-Year War. But you don't have to follow the story of
the anime. For example, if your doing the Jion scenario, you can choose
to send Ranba Ral reinforcements instead of leaving him alone to attack
White Base like in the anime. You can even beat the Federation (A.K.A.
United Nations in the game, I'll use these terms interchangeably
because I'm so used to saying Federation, but the game uses United
Nations) on the Jion scenario.

3.	Miscellaneous Secrets
There are three extra scenarios in the game, the Titans, True Jion and
the Neo Jion. I'm not totally sure how you get to play these. When you
initially start playing you can only choose between the Federation, and
the Archduchy of Jion. But as you play the game you see other factions
pop up.

The Titans
Most of the time if you're playing the United Nations, around the time
you take over A Bau A Qu the Titans will pop out. But I'm not sure what
makes them pop up. Yes those evil boys from Zeta Gundam arrive a bit
early, and are still just as annoying. As soon as they show up you
automatically lose control of Luna 2. Any units in Luna 2 are
automatically ejected into space. They have fewer pilots than you do
but they have the best of both worlds as the Titans have both
Federation and Zion technology. They have their own version of the
Gundam (It's just the RX-78 with the dark blue Titan's color scheme),
Gelgoog's and even Pegasus class ships. The characters they have are
Jamitov Heiman and Bosk Ohm of course, Jaimaican Denigan, Wyatt Green,
Zero Murasame, and Cima Garahou (Always the Traitor ^_^). Of course
you'll lose the characters from your roster. I'm not sure but I think
the Titans can pop up even if you are playing the Zion scenario. But in
order to use them you have to beat them, and be playing the Federation
Scenario.

Neo-Jion
Well this was a surprise when I encountered this faction when I was
playing. They popped out when I was using the Federation, but as I
understand it, they usually pop out when using Jion. But again I don't
know what makes them pop out. Well Char reveals his true Identity to
everyone, that of Casbal Daikun, and forms his own faction, Neo-Jion,
faithful to the "true" Jion philosophy taught by his father. They
automatically take over Granada. They have mostly Zion Archduchy
technology, but notably, Casbal (he no longer uses Char as his name)
has his own custom Gundam, its even red to boot!!! As for characters
its newtypes galore for Neo-Jion. All of the characters are newtypes,
Casbal, Lala, and Sharia Blue. I'm not sure about this but I think
Sayla even joins her brother's cause, along with Mirai!!! But in order
to use them you have to beat them, and be playing the Jion Scenario.

True Jion Republic
I just recently found out about this faction through the Ghiren's Greed
special disk. In this scenario Kishiria Zabi, angered by the death of
her father, Degin Zabi, at the hands of her brother Ghiren, starts her
own faction called the True Jion. The True Jion Republic's home base is
Granada on the moon. They have the same technology as the Jion Republic
and a few generals and pilots from the original Jion republic join
Kishiria. There isn't much else to this scenario, but it's an
interesting plot twist.

GP-01 Full Vernian
This MS is actually in the Game, if you play the Federation scenario I
was really surprised when I saw the plans pop up. I was only able to
get it using the replay codes for max tech levels. If you have high
enough tech levels, near the end of the game, you'll be asked if you
want to start the Gundam development plan. Just start the plan and you
get the plans to build the GP-01Fb. You can only use it in space, but
it has a huge range and HIGH stats.

Kou Uraki
Well if the GP-01Fb is in the game, where's Kou? Kou makes an early
appearance in the One Year War. If you looked at the Seiyuu cast list
during the credits you see him in the list even if you didn't get him.
I personally haven't got him yet but Kou is in the game. I was told how
to get him by a friend. Just beat the game once then play the
Federation scenario and don't start Operation V or the RX series.
Basically don't develop mobile suits. Then around turn fifty you'll get
asked if you want to start a recruitment operation. Start the
recruitment operation and you should get Kou.

Zero Murasame (Proto Zero)
Zero is the first Reinforced human. He has HIGH stats and can use
Newtype MS's. If you want to get him, about half way during the game
Jamitov will ask you if you want to spy on a colony I'm not sure
exactly, just say yes. It turns out that something went wrong and
Jamitov gassed the colony and all its in habitants. But he did find out
some plans or something for the development of reinforced humans. Later
on Jamitov will ask you if you want to look into the development of
reinforced humans. Say yes and you'll eventually get Zero. (but if the
Titans pop out kiss Zero goodbye)
