Introduction
======================

Why am I doing a Notebook FAQ for Shenmue? Because I noticed that there are alot of notes
in the book, and I was missing alot. I also assume that alot of other people are missing
alot too, so I decided to create this FAQ, so all us Shenmue players can try and get 100%
of the notes. I am putting in all the notes that I currently have, and because I am
restarting the game, I will add in how to get the notes as well, like who to talk to,
when to talk to them, etc.

So if you have any notes that I don't have, let me know, and I will add it in.

Also, be sure to check out my crappy website at http://www.geocities.com/krbrunn and sign
my guestbook if you've got the time. Thanks!

Updates
======================

Version 0.1: January 4th 2001 - Everything you see is new.
              All I have now are my notes, and not how to get them.
Version 0.2: January 6th 2001 - For some reason, I had this listed
              as a memo pad faq rather than a Notepad FAQ, so I have
              changed that.
              I added how to get some notes on pages 1-13 and I finally
              got notes on pages 8 and 12
Version 0.25: February 18th 2001 - I've added notes and how to get them
              for about 10-20 notes. Thanks for the submissions everyone.
              Updates will be more frequent from now on.
Version 0.3: March 1st 2001 - I've added a bunch of new notes, as well as
              how to get them. I'm planning on doing a new layout, one
              that looks better, and is easier to manage.
              Thanks for all the input everyone. I also added a section
              about where this FAQ can be found.
Version 0.35: August 28th 2001 - Yes I am alive.  I've just gone through a
              tough time, and I had to go through rehab for drug abuse.
              The drug was Phantasy Star Online. But I'm over it now, and I
              plan on updating with a little more regularity. I have added a
              few notes now, more to come soon. Also added the "Note about
              Lapis" section.

Info On Lapis
======================

Something interesting was brought to my attention by a gentleman by the name of Force Vector.
According to his discoveries, Lapis, will only give you ONE clue a day, even if you advance the
story. If you want to recieve a new clue from lapis, you have to go home, sleep, and go back
the next day.

This is a very interesting insight, and I don't know how I ever missed it... But I missed the
whole locked box in the dojo thing that everyone else knew too. Ah well. I'v restarted the
game and I am using this information to try and get even more notes.
