*taken from http://alienaa.com/about.html*

What is the Alien Adoption Agency (AAA)?
A universe - even a world... our world. AAA is a RPG simulation.

What?
In a single mouthful, a role playing game (RPG) immerses you into playing
out the role of a character in a vast world. Usually a world where dominance
is key. As a little bit of background, RPGs go back quite a distance to the
time of Dungeons and Dragons. Even beyond... any imaginative recreation of a
simulated world is deemed role playing. Fighting is the main attraction in
AAA, alien bodies litter the fields. It's a world where danger lies
everywhere! So many delightfully suspense-filled moments! Battle is
simulated randomly (by a virtual die) and a set formula. This is affected by
various statistics which are increased throughout gameplay. Some of these
statistics are:

Attributes: Physical strength, speed, endurance. Each has numerous effects,
ranging from minute to breathtaking.
Equipment: Your equipment and how well you care for it can be crucial in
battle.
Opponent: You have the choice of who to fight. You may be unexpectedly
attacked, but that's just a part of the fun!

Would we make it hard for you to cope in this world? Certainly not! Guilds
will be able to aid you in your quest for power. Remember, the ultimate goal
is to be the best! Be a god in this world!

Mini games?
While the general purpose is crushing other aliens with your unstoppable
valor, numerous mingames are available. These are just one of the many ways
to make a profit with which to deck yourself out in the latest equipment,
not to mention have some fun! There is the Casino where you can play the
Slots, Blackjack, or ever Dice Poker! You can dip your feet in the water
while fishing in a fully simulated pond, lake, or even cruise the ocean in
search of the elusive Kingfisher! The Stock Market is yet another example,
allowing players to invest and watch their investments rise and fall! Of
course, there are the more secret games, but letting those out of the box
wouldn't leave them secret, would they? AAA is an amazingly detailed game,
offering endless hours of gameplay. You will never lose interest.

Constant growth
Our motto is to never cut the fun. We add to AAA quite frequently.
Individual players often see hundreds of features and sections added. You
can expect that if you leave for awhile, you will come back to find dozens
of new areas to explore.

More than just a game
AAA is more than a game to its players. It is a community and universe that
no other game comes near to providing. Tens of thousands of members sign in
and coexist with other players. We have chat rooms, message boards, and a
special sort of email (QuickPosts). You will meet new people, befriend
dozens, and keep in touch with others.

Eons of work has gone into this game. You will not regret trying it out. Are
you ready to immerse yourself in the world that is AAA?

---

In short, AAA is an online RPG with a huge multiplayer aspect. You will
encounter many friends as well as enemies, and have access to 24/7
communication with them all.

Birds of Paradise Stamp (#2) [Solve Puzzle]
Found: Georgetown - Housing Complex, Rooms 50 and 51
In room 50 you will find 5 levers. Each lever has 4 notches. It's one big
math problem. Each notch's value is the number you choose (1-4) X a certain
number. Example:

[Notch 1] [Notch 1] [Notch 1] [Notch 1] [Notch 1]
Value: 0 Value: 1 Value: 2 Value: 3 Value: 4

The first is a multiple of 0, the second 1, the third 2, the fourth 3, the
fifth it multiplies your number by 4. When you hit engage, you'll get a
yellow, green, or red light and some wattage. The key is to get green.
Yellow means you need more watts, red means you need less. When you get
green, go to room 51 and collect your stamp.

                              3. Currency
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

Descriptions of the various currency in the game, what there general worth
is, where you can get them, where you can spend them, and how you can save
them. All you need to know.

-.-Credits-.-

Every other form of currency, and most of the items, revolve around credits.
The credit is the main currency of the AAA, and other currencies such as
tokens and marks are valued in terms of credits. Needless to say, you can
spend these just about anywhere, and they are almost as easy to collect.

-.- Ways to earn credits -.-

Play hangman at the executioner's square (For 5, 8, 10 credits)
Defeat the battle simulator (Must be a week old)
Win battles, you may take money off another player (Must be a week old)
Convert tokens into credits (2 credits for each token, seen below)
Sell fish at the fish market after fishing (See Appropriate section)
Sell marks on the Black Market or Black Market Jr. (down for mark info)
Collect 2.5% interest nightly on your bank account balance (see below)
Welfare Office (Must be under level 5)
Employment Agency (Must be over level 5)
Refer other aliens (have them put your e-mail in when they sign up)
Sell bytes at the Byte Shack or Byte Shack Jr. (See below)

-.- Ways to use credits -.-

Buy Items, Weapons at the General Store
Buy Fishing Equipment
Buy Casino Tokens (At the Casino)
Buy Marks (In the Alien Times in georgetown, Black Market)
Buy Bytes (In the Alien Times in georgetown, Byte Shack)
Buy Items at the Shady House
Buy Clothes at Stan's Botique
Donate credits to your guild.
Save them in your bank account (best to store them here)
Buy a ring to get married at the Jewler
Place hits on other aliens (Back Alley)
Private Eye other aliens (Private Eye)

-.- Approximate credit conversions -.-

1 mark - 400-800 credits
1 token - 3 credits buying, 2 credits selling (at the casino)
1 byte - 35,000-50,000 credits

-.-Tokens-.-

Tokens remain at a steady value of between 2-3 credits per. That's simply
because there is only one place that deals in them. In the Georgetown casino
you can win tokens at various games, and also lose them. They cost 3 credits
pure if you want to simply buy them. You get 2 credits for each token you
sell.

-.- Ways to earn tokens -.-

Play blackjack at the casino.
Play slots at the casino.
Play dice poker at the casino.
Convert credits to tokens at the casino (3 credits > 1 token)

-.- Ways to use tokens -.-

Convert tokens to credits at the casino (1 token > 2 credits)

-.- Approximate token conversions -.-

1 credit - 1/3 token buying. 1/2 token selling.
1 mark - 200-400 tokens
1 byte - 17,500-25,000 tokens

-.-Marks-.-

Marks, to be brief, fluxuate. There are many factors which increase or
decrease their value, too many to list. You'll find this out as you play the
game. The best way to use these besides using them to buy things, is to
trade them. Buy low, sell high.

-.- Ways to earn marks -.-

Employment Agency Missions
Search in the Housing Complex each day (Only one room has marks, and it's
random)
Buying them on the Black MARKet
Buying them for 250c each in Webby World (You have to find the location)

-.- Ways to use marks -.-

Buying items at the solarium
Buying items at home improvement
Correcting lost HP at Helga's House of Voodoo
Selling them on the Black MARKet

-.- Approximate mark conversions -.-

1 mark - 400-800 credits
1 mark - 200-400 tokens
1 byte - 60-100 marks

-.- Bytes -.-

Bytes are the newest of currencies, and thus one of the most popular. They
are used for upper level players and features. A luxury, not a neccesity.

-.- Ways to earn Bytes -.-

Buy them at the Byte Shack.
Sign up for features using the [Earn Stuff] link in Georgetown.

-.- Ways to use bytes -.-

Sell them at the Byte Shack.
Use them for Hacks at Cid's Lab. (See Hack List for details)
Buy a compass at the travel agency.

-.- Approximate byte conversions -.-

1 byte - 35,000 to 50,000 credits
1 byte - 17,500 to 25,000 tokens
1 byte - 60 to 100 marks

-.-Your Bank Account-.-

This is your 5th type of "Currency", as you will notice in the menu on the
left while you play AAA. The bank should be used to store all of your
credits, you should never have credits in the "Credits:" section unless you
are buying something. Bank features are as follows:

-.- Savings \ Interest -.-

Each night at reset, interest is calculated at 2.5% X your current balance,
with a maximum interest of 75,000 credits. IE: A balance of 10,000 credits
would yield an interest gain of (0.025 X 10,000) 250 credits. A balance of
3,000,000 would yield a gain of 75,000 credits. Note that a blance of
4,000,000 would also only yield a gain of 75,000 credits, but it's still a
good idea to keep all your credits in the bank, even if you have more than 3
million.

-.- Withdrawls -.-

At any time you can withdraw money from your bank account at a withdrawl fee
of 3%. (3 credits per 100 withdrawn). This is reasonable, as you won't be
withdrawing much. If you have a B.O.W. Card, there are some places you can
withdraw money without a fee and automatically spend your money on that item
(See items section for B.O.W. Card).

-.- Loans -.-

Once you reach level 5, you may take out a loan. Loans are explained quite
well at the bank screen. If your loan is not re-payed within a week, all
your future earnings will be taken until the loan is payed off.

-.- Bank Transfer -.-

all useful. In the end, after adding them all, your quicklinks will look
like this. Note that some quicklinks like battle only appear after a certain

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
- Goverment District -
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

-.- Govenor's Mansion -.-

This is the place to go if you want to know just who's a member of the game
staff (or the High Council).

-.- Executioner's Square -.-

The gallows hasn't been used for a public execution in ages (we prefer
"taking care of business" in the dark of the night), so the executioner
amuses himself by playing Hangman with visitors. New players needing a few
quick credits are encouraged to come here, but don't ever rely on this as a
source of income. You can't play forever.

How to play

To play hangman is simple. All you have to do is pick a letter and if it
appears in the word then it will come up; if it doesn't, then you get that
much closer to being hanged. If you guess all the letters in the word before
you get hanged you get a 5, 8, 0r 10 credit reward (Depending on what level
you chose).

Levels
Easy - You get 5 credits per correct answer
Medium - You get 8 Credits per correct answer
Medium-Hard - You get 10 credits per correct answer

-.- Records Hall -.-

This is the current building to change details on your account: name,
password, etc. Now remember that it costs 100 credits to change any
information...

(This is also the place to go to get a divorce, if marriage doesn't work out
for you. It won't be cheap.)

-.- Voting Booth -.-

This is to show your opinion on the topic that is posted. Remember you can
only vote once for each topic. If you have voted on the current poll, going
here will show you the current vote counts. If you haven't voted, there
should be a message in your news informing you that a new poll is up.

(When an old poll is removed, that message will "turn on", but you won't
find the new poll here until it's been set up. This may take several hours.
So if you show up to vote and find no poll here, it's not a bug - just come
back later.)

You must be level 2 to vote in the poll.

-.- Awards Hall -.-

This is a section to see the top people in the game in that catagorie. The
categories are:

Good Players (Alignment)
Evil Players (Alignment)
Wealthiest Players (Money)
Battle Wins (Most Wins)
Battle Losses (Most Losses)
Oldest Aliens (Oldest player)

-.- Town Hall -.-

This is where the official game clock is kept, allowing you to see what time
it is (in Alien Standard Time), and how long you have unti lthe server
resets. It's also where we keep the game chat rooms.

The Chat Rooms:
Written in Javascript (and a minor miracle it works at all), this is a place
where you can chat with your fellow aliens. It refreshes every 40 seconds
but you can refresh it faster by clicking the 'say' button. There are many
conversations going on in there, and it's a good place to ask for help on
topics not covered in these help files. (There are topics we haven't
covered???)

Java Chatroom(s):
With Java, we can provide streaming chat rooms, which means you don't have
to wait 40 seconds to see what people say! There are also helpful features
in the new rooms. You can ignore other players (meaning you won't have to
hear a thing they say), start private conversations, and hang out in a
chatroom while playing a game. We also can more conveniently enforce the
rules there.

Understand this:
(By looking at the Java chatroom's "front door", you can see a list of the
rules for chatting... a copy is at the link below. While these rules apply
to the non-Java chat as well, we haven't been able to code chat admin powers
into it. The rules still apply. We just can't kick or ban you from chats,
and so have to use the... other penalties available. So if you seriously
break the rules in the Javascript room, and your alien disappears without
notice a couple of days later, don't come whining to us.)

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
- Shopping District -
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

-.- Jeweler -.-

This is Georgetowns only Jewelers (suprising isnt it?). Its the only place
to Buy a ring for your marriage proposal, and if you find some jewels he can
make you a jewel sword!

Rings
Plain Band [500 Credits]
Soulmate [200,000 Credits]
Diamond Ring [250,000 Credits]

-.- General Store -.-

The General Store is the ideal place to improve your Alien. Within this
building, you will be able to Appraise and Repair your Weapons & Armor, Sell
your old Junk, Purchase Healing Potions, and Purchase New Weapons & Armor.
Initially, you will only see items you can afford to buy, but if you want to
see a full list of items for sale (Even if you can't afford them), then
click on the link that says "Show me Everything!".

I strongly suggest stocking up on those Potions...

-.- Stan's Boutique -.-

Stan's Boutique is the only place in town, where you alien can buy some
clothes. By using a series of menu's you choose which, Hat/Headwear,
clothing, and other things you wish your alien to wear. You can then "Try
'em on". If you like what you see, super! then buy it. Unfortunately the
clothes are all made by top designer Le Webster and are highly sort after,
as a result the price of clothes is more than it is for some weapons. New
clothes are being created by AAA Designer Cyanide. The clothes at Stan's
have become alot cheaper (probably because Cyanide isn't as greedy as
Webby).

(Notes regarding clothing)
1. If your alien picture isn't being displayed, go to Stan's and try
something on. You don't have to buy it.
2. If you want to buy a partial outfit, do so. (For example. of you have a
top hat on already and are buying flowers, don't think you have to select
the top hat as headgear. If you do, you will buy it as well, and waste some
money.)
3. Clothes are pictures, not objects. Meaning you don't "own" them, you wear
them. If you buy an outfit, and switch to a new one, the old clothing items
aren't kept in some kind of inventory, they simply disappear.

Closet
The only way you can keep clothes is if you buy a closet from the Home
Improvement Store. When you get one you get 6 spaces for clothes. EACH
clothes item takes up 1 space no matter what it is hat, glasses, ext... You
can buy more space from the same place if you want it. Closets can only be
bought with marks

-.- Jane St. Posters -.-

Basically this is just a place in georgetown to purchase Alien Merchandice.
Here you can buy alien posters and hang them up in your computer room at
home :)

-.- Solarium -.-

This is where you can obtain the card book from grokk (for a price of
course). As your alien goes around he will find cards for the card book and
certain cards will unlock certain features of the game.

Also here you can buy Scrambler that will stop people using the Private Eye
on you, so your stats are safe.

After you buy the Card Book and Scrambler, you can buy the Battle Logger
which shows the last battle from when someone attacked you

-.- Scheme Software -.-

This is an old store in Georgetown, where you can get cosmetic alterations
to your user interface, called "schemes". After a long period of inactivity,
it's reopened for business.

-.- Auction House -.-

This is the place to go if your looking for some relatively "rare" things,
like guilds for example. The auction house is pretty simple to use, you can
view the bidding history and you can bid for the item on sale by going in
and placing your bid by putting the amount of credits in to the text box
provived and pressing bid.

Please Note: To place a bid you must have at least 10% of your bid on hand
(or in bank, or combined). All bids are final. Bid only if your are willing
to pay if you are the winner. Unlike in real life where you can get away
with it, aliens who intentionally bid above their spending power, win the
auction and cannot pay WILL be removed from the game.

-.- Stamp Shop -.-

This is the stamp shop. In here you can get a warm cup of cocoa and get a
quest to find those stamps. There are four stamps scattered far and wide.
The location of the fourth stamp is unknown so please don't post on the
message boards about people finding it.

-.- Post Office -.-

Here is the place to go to check your quick posts. To set up a quickpost
with another alien, add their e-mail address or name at the top where it
says add alien. Then their name will appear at the bottom with a box to let
you write a message to them. Once you've written it, don't forget to press
post at the bottom of the page to send the message!

-.- Housing Complex -.-

In here you can take a look at 100 different rooms. There are a lot of
different new things in there, it's worth a look. Especially if you're
collecting stamps....

-.- Casino -.-

This is the place where YOU can make lots of money. Every day you'll get 20
casino tokens with which you can access 3 different games: Slot Machines,
Blackjack Tables and Dice Poker. (There's also a fourth bonus game, Keno,
which is just for fun; you don't gain or lose tokens playing it.)

*Warning* Gambling can be highly addictive, play at your own risk. (I know
this all too well - Rudeboy Rupert, admin once investigated for "suspicious"
gambling profits)

-.- Private Eye -.-

This is where you wanna go if you want to dig up some dirt on an alien. It
will cost you 1000 credits for this service. Watch out, the P.I. is a little
jumpy.

-.- Betting Shack -.-

The only place to get an *Official* Lottery Ticket. Tickets are priced 1
credit each and have 4 numbers on them. They say there's more of a chance of
being abducted by Aliens......shows what they know, eh?

-.- Shady House -.-

What you can get:
Birds of Paradise Stamp [1,000,000 Credits]
One of the stamps needed to finish the stamp collection in the stamp shop

Satellite Uplink [1,000,000 Credits]
Dig up info on anyone that does not have a scrambler (blocks info) for free.
If they have a scrambler it will cost you 10k to dig the info

Card B - Slim Shady's House [1,000,000 Credits]
Gives you more clothes items in Stans.

Fake ID [1,000,000 Credits]
Gets you into the Lazy Eye Bar.

Note: The links will NOT be clickable unless you have the correct amount of
money in your HAND.

-.- Helga's House of Voodoo -.-

Magic 8 Ball - Ask the magic 8 ball something and it will give you
an......interesting answer.

HP Correction - Are your hit points lower than they should be? Well, come
here to get them put back up to what they should be, but it will cost you.

Helga's Ball O' Hate - Tells you who's blacklists you're on.

-.- Back Alley -.-

It used to be this undistinguishable patch of real estate was just a
favorite shelter for bums, fellow-travelers, and drunk oracles, but lately
it's been taken over by the Order of the Silent Fist, possibly the only
truly official bounty hunters of the AAA. You can buy their speedy, deadly
services... but the only satisfaction they guarantee is the satisfaction
they receive from collecting your credits.

-.- Lazy Eye Bar -.-

Requirements to enter:

Must be 300 days old or older
Must Buy a fake id from Shady's House

What to do
Basically walking around in this gay bar is the thing to do. Before you walk
around you might want to read the sign over the bar. Even though your id
wont foll them into letting you get a drink, you might be able to catch biff
at the bar if the time is right. But until then, getting a Backdoor pass
would help you get a drink.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-
- Downtown -
-.-.-.-.-.-.-

-.- Georgetown Hospital -.-

This is the town hospital. It's where you can go to revive and heal your
alien for a reasonable price. It's easier than using all those potions and
herbs, just one click and you're healed. Just make sure you've got enough
money to pay for the hospital bill.

Note: Your guild can cover some or all of these costs.

-.- Hall of Guilds -.-

Guilds are a group of aliens with the same ideals and thoughts. You can call
them gangs if you like. The groups used to go around with no where to "hang"
or "chill". Thats when Webby decided, "I know I'll make a place for them to
chill with their homies!" and he made the Guild house. Now the gangs are
more formal and call themselves guilds.

-.- Bank of Webby -.-

This is the town bank. You go here to deposit or withdraw money from the
bank. When you have money in the bank, you get up to 2.5% interest every
day, which is a good incentive to use the bank. When you withdraw money,
2.5% of that amount is taken from your account by the bank as an
administration fee. When you are beaten in battle, money from the bank does
not get lost, so it's perfectly safe in there. Expanding on that concept,
here you can transfer credits from your account to another player's (instead
of using "Give Item" to directly give credits); this ensures the recipient
won't lose them to an untimely attack.

You can also, if you're at least level 5, take out a loan. A 4.5% surcharge
will be added to the amount you'll need to repay, you'll have ten days to
repay your loan, and if you don't, the bank starts taking two-thirds of the
credits you earn.

-.- Employment Agency -.-

The Employment Agency is one of the rare places where people can earn money.
You'll be given an agent and he'll find all the jobs you'll ever need. When
you enter your agent's office, your agent will have a pile of jobs just
waiting to be completed, on completion you will be rewarded with the amount
shown when you signed up for the job.
All jobs require you going into Webby World and doing whatever task you are
set.

Remember: When the server is reset all jobs that you are currently under
going will be wiped, and you will have to go back to the Employment Agency
to get a new one.

-.- Wedding Chapel -.-

Here you can pray to the Deity or Demon of your choice, donate money, and
get married. To get married you need a ring from the Jeweler. You also need
to meet the level requirements: level 25 to propose, level 10 to accept.
Donating money and praying have been rumored to cause special things to
happen. While nothing has been confirmed, you may be able to find something
special by doing this...

-.- Stock Exchange -.-

The stock exchange is a place for aliens to come in and trade and sell
stocks just like in real life...only with less selection. The market is
updated constantly. When you enter, you'll be shown your Portfolio. From
here you can buy and sell stocks. You can also go to your Transaction
History (for stock trading), or to the Newspaper, which contains information
on all of the stocks. The symbols for each stock are what you type into the
"Symbol" field in the portfolio to buy a stock. If the change listed for a
stock is in red, the stock lost value; if it's in green, it gained value.

-.- Galaxy Gym -.-

Please visit http://www.alienaa.com/help/gym.html for more information, or
read the gym section in this guide.

-.- Georgetown Jail -.-

This is for all the bad lil aliens.
Rippers, cheaters and people that just constantly cheat in some form or
another are put in here.

The Rules of Jail:
At present, any game administrator can put you in jail.
It takes the attention of a game administrator to get you out of jail.

-.- Travel Agency -.-

In here you can view the terain map and the density map of Webby World -
read the key in the bottom left of the maps and it will tell what all the
colors mean.

Compass - They cost 200 Bytes and will help you navigate through webby
world.

-.- Trading Post -.-

Anything to do with trading is here.

-.-Player Reputation-.-
After trading come here and enter the player you just traded with e-mail
address then say whether or not she/he was good at trading, neutral (not bad
but not brillant) or bad. This will help players when they trade with that
player and make sure they don't get ripped. To check a players reputation
just do the same as above.

-.-Secure Trade-.-

One of the most often-made suggestions for about eight months of the game's
history was to create this. It was held off for a number of reasons, some
technical, some social. And now it is here: Secure Trading!

The system is simple. You enter the players e-mail or alien name who you are
trading with, then at the top put the item you are trading and at the bottom
put the amount of credits you are expecting for it. Then the person you are
trading with sends you the money you are expecting and once the money is
sent then your weapon will be sent to the trading player. If you are the one
buying the item/weapon then get the person you are buying off to start the
secure trade. You can also trade items, equipment and marks using the secure
trade. Secure Trading should eliminate most, if not all ripping in this
game.

The Give Items link at the bottom of Georgetown can also be used as a secure
trade If and only if someone sets up a secure trade with you.

Allocation points can not be traded, because that would cause many players
to create multiple aliens.

note: There can only be one secure trade going on at any one time

-.- Leave Town -.-

Here you can take a stroll in Webby World. Webby World is still under
construction right now, so the amount of things you can do here is limited.

Your alien must be alive to leave Georgetown. If your alien is dead, the
Leave Town button will change to [Can't leave - dead].

You must be level 5 to enter webby world.

Do you ever go into Webby World and get killed and then stuck??? Annoying
ain't it! Well this place will solve all your problems. Simply purchase
there insurance package and they will be your "guardian angels" while
traveling through Webby World.

-.- Home Improvement -.-

Like most of the buildings in New Georgetown, the home improvement shop is a
little...odd. Sitting in between two skyscrapers (government buildings) it
is a perfect replica of a Meiji era mansion. In front of this palace lies a
magnificently sculpted bonsai garden.
This is a weird but wonderful place with a strange, unknown man who will
help you to buy your home improvements.

You can buy the closet which allows you to hold six items of clothing. After
the closet, you can buy more space for your closet.

-.- Internet Cafe -.-

Here contain the top 20 websites visited this week from links contained in
the AAA.

-.- Research Institute -.-

Ever spoken to a newbie? Understand there language?? I doubt it. Major Webby
built the Research Institute to study the language of Newbies, and to help
you translate their unique language.

-.- Bounty Hunter's Hut -.-

I dont know much about this section, all i can do is give you the info thats
in the place already

Realizing that the amount of crime in the AAA has exceeded the abilities of
Georgetown's Police Force, mayor Webby instituted a "bounty hunter" policy,
where by citizens could take the law in their own hands. In exchange for the
capture of wanted criminals, law-abiding citizens could pick up some extra
cash.

-.- Cid's Lab -.-

Cid's Lab is the place to go if you have a few spare bytes hanging around. A
hacker will hack into your 'genetic' code and change a few things, but be
warned this things could be for the worst.

How to earn bytes:
Currently, there is only one way of earning bytes and thats by going to Earn
Stuff in Georgetown, and signing up for the program that gives you bytes. At
the moment only people that live in North America can sign up for this
program but we are looking for advertisers that will allow ALL aliens to
gain bytes. Expect to see this in the near future.

You can also trade for bytes in the Byte Shack locatd in alien times.

-.- Anck's Temple -.-

Basically this place is where you can go to see all the donators in aaa. To

Multi Report
Bug Report
Cheater Report
"Hacker" Report
Guild Problem
General Problem
Complaint
E-mail change request
Ripper Report

This area is not for joking around. If you submit anything like jokes, abuse
or "test" it will result in the account that submitted it being deleted and
banned, no questions asked.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
In order for the Police Station to be useful, the volume of reports must be
kept low. THINK before filing a report. You have fair warning - if you file
a report that we find to be a blatant non-thinking post, your character will
be deleted. This is the only way we can keep the reports filed to only
serious ones. Err on the side of caution, if you're not 100% sure your
report is something that should be filed, ask around before filing it.

-.- Game Office -.-

Here is where you can buy game subscriptions. You can get special things if
you buy one. Here are some of the things you can get (some NOT all):

Sig up to 2,000 characters
A 10 character chat title
Journal up to 30,000 characters
Unlimited posts on the message boards
can warn in non-java
Unlimited people on QP and blacklists
Bytes instead of marks in the employment agency
ect...

Cost
$4.35 a month

$48.85 for a year

30 Day Trial - 1,500 Bytes

If you do it monthly..DO NOT wait till it runs out to renew it..do it ahead

-.- Give Items -.-

This screen is to give another person items. (duh!) However, if you don't
really know the person you are trading with, you should use the secure trade
feature located in the trading post at Georgetown.

DO NOT cry and whine to an admin if someone rips you. You were warned.

-.- Earn Stuff -.-

Interested in keeping the AAA 100% free? You can help! Just visit any of the
sites in that section that interest you, fill out the registration form and
viola! You can now go to sleep knowing you've helped keep AAA online and
100% free.

Bytes
To get bytes you have to sign up with the sites that are below the bytes
thing. You must use the same e-mail you used for your alien in aaa. Once
you've signed up, all you can do is wait. When Webby and staff recieve
notice from that site that you signed up, they will then give you your
bytes.

Note: There are more sections here, and once they reopen and or are added
they will be added here..like the disapperaing Mark doors..:P

-.- My Account -.-

The my account screen allows you to customize your alien and change your
settings.

1) Game Settings - Here, you can change your alien's color, as well as
choose whether or not to use an insecure chat. You can even choose to have
your password e-mailed to you in e-mails you receive from the AAA.

2)Message Boards - You can change your message board signature, and choose
to use simplified message boards if you desire.

3)QuickPost Settings - From here, you can your adjust your QuickPost
settings, such as privacy mode.

4)Battle Settings - This is where you change your strength management, and
whether or not to spare defeated aliens.

5)Phrases - This is where you set your last, finishing, stalemate and
sparing words. Also here you can set your random sayings which will appear
randomly in battle.

6)Chat Settings - This is where you can chose if you want insecure chat,
auto refresh chat, and what color you want your text to appear in. This is
only for NON-JAVA, not JAVA..:P

7)Donation Options - If you have a subscription (from game office), then
here you will be able to do things. Right now all you can do is give
yourself a 15 character chat title, along with being able to hide last
active stuff, and no banner ads.

8)House Settings - Here you can control some of the things your house
displays. You can choose to show curreny, awards placement, and guild info.

9)Guild Settings - you can raise your guild credit and experience tax.

Note: You cannot lower any of the guild taxes below what the guild admins
set the tax too. You can only raise the taxes

You can also put an ammount in the guild nightly donating thing, and every
night at reset you donate that much to the guild.

use an e-mail just for the game, not your main e-mail. If you don't have
one, you can get one at hotmail (hotmail.com) for free.

-.- Activating your Account \ Logging In -.-

After clicking apply, an activation code will be mailed to the e-mail
address you provided. Wait a few minutes, then check your e-mail for a set
of numbers clearly marked in an e-mail from the game. Once you have it, copy
it down, and go to: http://www.alienaa.com/c/s.dll/adopt.fcgi?step=check
(url should be included in the e-mail also). Enter your e-mail address and

The first part is the vitals. This is basically what your logbook would look

catch them, where they are found, and what hook you should use. The second
part is the actual strategy guide for fishing, which needs no explenation,
and the third and final part is a list of eel prices, how much they sell for
by size. Why eels? They are the most profitable fish in the game!

-.- Blackjack Strategy -.-

Below is an absolute masterpiece of work by one of my old AAA friends. This
is with his consent, I'm not sure if he still plays, and the format is a
little rough, but the content is amazing.

---Shade's Ultimate Blackjack Strategy:---

OK, so you want to make some $ with Blackjack in the Casino, but you're
either too scared or you just don't seem to be having any luck. Well, I've
played the
hell out of Blackjack and I'll be happy to share what I know with you.

-Before you start:
Understand that Blackjack is NOT a guaranteed way to make cash, as some
people would have you believe. There is always an element of risk, and there
is always the chance (however small) that you could bottom out and lose all
your tokens. This is something you will have to deal with. Believe me, I've
spent many hours yelling at the automated dealer and calling him loads of
horrible things, but the bottom line is that gambling
is gambling and you might win a lot and you might lose a lot, so be prepared
for both. Now, with that said, I believe that by following these strategies
you will not only come out ahead in the end, but you should make
significantly more than you lose. Also, I am assuming you already know the
basic rules of Blackjack, because this guide doesn't cover them.

-How to get started:
First give me an example of what NOT to do:
1. Take out a huge loan.
2. Go to the Blackjack tables.
3. Proceed to gamble everthing away in as large a bet as you can.

Rule number 1 is that you DO NOT talk about Blackjack Club....errr...I mean
skip that. I meant that rule number 1 is that you never gamble with money
you can't
afford to lose, so don't go dipping into your weapon fund to pay for your
addiction.
Rule number 2 is that you DO NOT bet everything you have on a single hand!
Do not even bet a majority of your tokens, becuase that is just plain
irresponsible.

Now, I will assume that you only have...say 20 tokens. And you want to turn
those 20 tokens into a LOT of tokens. It is very possible, but it is also
very aggrivating, and a somewhat delicate process. For the purposes of
demonstration, I will assume that your betting limit is the same as mine,
which is currently about 200 tokens.

To Pray or Not To Pray:
It has been mine and a few others experience that by praying at the church
of your alignment before you sit down to play, you can actually improve your
luck at the tables. Please remember that this is only speculation and is
something that has not
been proven, but that, nevertheless, has been supported. I also make a small
donation sometimes just to be extra-sure. But in any case, even if you're
too cheap to make a donation, what's the harm in saying a little prayer
first?

Now make your way on over to the tables and lets get busy!

Basic Betting Strategy:
Believe it or not, playing your cards right is only half the game. To
succeed you must also be able to make wise bets. And that is not always as
easy as it seems. If you are a VERY conservative person, then a VERY safe
bet is usually 1/10
of your current tokens in hand. (i.e. If you are holding 100 tokens, it is
usually safe to bet 10, and if you are holding 250 it is usually safe to bet
25.) However, I, being the unstable guy I am, usually lean toward a bet of
1/8 or even 1/6. In any case, I NEVER recommend betting more than 1/6 of
your tokens. Sometimes you can easily hit a stroke of bad
luck and lose 6 times in a row, and where would you be then?

The Odds Are In Your Favor!:
Unlike Vegas tables, the AAA Blackjack tables pay you unusually generously.
A win will garner you a whopping 150% earn on the original bet, plus you get
to keep the original bet! This means that if you bet an amount and win, and
then you bet the same amount and lose right afterwards, you have still made
a profit of exactly half of your original wager! To put it another way, if
you lose twice for every win, then you are still breaking even.

Playing The Cards (The Basics):
This is actually much simpler than the mechanics of betting, because I think
I've figured out a fairly standard formula for playing that should work well
for you.

-If you have anything from 3 to 15 then always hit. There are some people
who think you should surrender on a 15, but I
say to go for it. If you want a detailed explaination of why, then see the
Advanced section.

-If you ever get a 16 then just go ahead and surrender. You will almost
always lose if you Stand and are at a huge
disadvantage if you Hit. (ONE EXCEPTION: Since Aces count as 1's or 11's
then you can safely Hit if one of your cards
is an Ace that is being counted as an 11. If that just confused you, then
forget I even said it.)

-If you get a 17 or higher then always stand.

So to break it down:
1 - 15: Always Hit
16: Surrender (unless one of the cards is an Ace that is being counted as an
11)
17 - 21: Always Stand
22 +: Ooops!

Playing The Cards (Advanced):
Here, I will attempt to explain my reasoning a bit. First of all, any number
between 2 and 11 is your friend to the end. Especially those delicious
little 10's and 11's. With all those face cards floating around, you're
bound to draw quite a few of them with those numbers, and then you
automatically score a nice 20 or 21. The numbers 12 - 15 are your enemies.
These guys are mad bad dangerous, because you can easily draw a face card
and
instantly be out of the hand. 12 isn't so bad, but 15 can raise your blood
pressure.

Here's why I say to go ahead and Hit on a 15 anyway:

If you have a 15 and decide to draw a card, there is a limited number of
outcomes availible.

You draw:

2 - 6 (5 cards): Yaay! Now you have a great working hand and have at least a
good chance of winning.

7 - King (7 cards): Booo! You busted and lost!

Ace (1 card): Damnit, now you have a 16 and have to surrender.

Because the issue is about surrendering in the first place, I will exclude
the Ace from my reasoning. There are 5 cards that will save you and 7 cards
that will bust you, so you basically have a 7/12 chance of busting. Since
this number is slightly higher than 1/2, conventional sense would dictate
that you surrender half your bet and
come out ahead. But since you get paid 150% on bets, then you are actually
coming out ahead
by Hitting. Only if the chances were 9/12 of busting would you want to
Surrender. (I believe that's right) Now this is, of course, assuming that
you win all hands that you save from
15. This probably won't happen, because the computer does get its own 20's
and 21's on a regular basis, but I still believe that you are coming out the
victor by going ahead and hitting. If you are still stubborn and want to
surrender on 15, go ahead, but don't blame me when they start popping up
more and more and you end up forfieting a huge amount of
money.

Anyway, assuming that you do get a valid Standing hand, I'll break down how
good of a hand you have:

17 - Hmmmm....you might win, but remember that this is the lowest Standing
hand you can get. It won't be hard to beat
this.
18 - Not too shabby; you could ask for better, but this will do.
19 - A good solid hand; the computer will have a challenge beating this.
20 - Very nice. You have an excellent chance of winning.
21 - All right! The only way you won't win is if the computer matches you!

Other Tidbits & Notes:

-This may sound silly, but I find that I actually win more when I play as
fast as I can. It's just one of those superstitious things I guess, but when
you're having a losing streak you'll try anything to get back on track.

-If the server gets slow, DO NOT make the mistake of pressing the Hit button
twice. When everything finally gets caught up, you will have sent the
command to Hit two seperate times and you will probably be sorry.

An Example of a Successful Run:

Ok, let's take our aspiring and intelligent alien Bob, and follow him to the
tables one night to see how he works. He's a fairly conservative fellow, so
he should be a good example to follow. He starts with 20 credits and begins
with a modest bet of 3 per hand. Assuming no terrible luck, Bob eventually
reaches about 45 credits and decides that it's time to up his bet. He moves
it up to 5 tokens a hand. Bob works for a while and has his ups and downs
(at one point, his pool drops down to an alarming 25 credits), but Bob
remains stuborn and keeps his 5 token bet rolling. He eventually earns about
70 credits. He then decides it's time to move his bet up to 7 credits. Upon
reaching the 100 credit plateau he moves it up again to 10. Things are
picking up a little momentum now and when
Bob makes 150 tokens, Bob lets caution slide a little and starts wagering 25
tokens.
His luck remains, however, and after more wins and a few more bet increases
he works all the way up to 600 credits. He is currently betting 50 credits a
hand and, if he's like me, at this point moves the weight up to 70 a hand.
He will probably reach the 900 to 1000 mark before too long, and now he's at
a tough spot. I don't know why, but for some reason, this is where I always
have trouble. Once I start betting 100 tokens a hand,
it seems that my pool of cash dips up and down and up and down, sometimes
falling all the way back to 500 and sometimes struglling all the way up to
1500 before plummetting again. (BTW, there is nothing worse than having to
scream the F-word and drop your bet once you fall all the way back to the
300 and 400 token mark.)
My usual strategy at this point is to inch my way up toward to about 1400
and then start betting 200 tokens a hand like mad and hope that it catches.
If it doesn't and I wind up back at 1000 again, I don't hesitate to slap
that bet back down to 100. Alternatively, I sometimes try being conservative
and betting 150 when I get up to about 1400, but it's all in your personal
playing style, so I'll leave that up to you.
Anyway, if you follow the basic guidelines, you will usually wind up making
more and more tokens, with only your maximum bet dictating how high you can
reach. But be warned though, that sometimes even the mightiest of cash piles
can fall to a horrible 10-hand losing streak. It is rare, but be prepared to
face it from time to time. If it happens to you, I can only suggest that you
take a break and go to the church and...pray...

Thanks for reading my guide! I wish you the best of luck!

Odds of rolling the number you need on your second roll: 1 in 6

-.- Tips -.-

Using the above odds, you can basically tell which roll is your best chance.
I'd list some sample hands, but seeing as there are 7,766 possible hands, it
wouldn't be doing you much good. However, if you feel the need for a visual
aid, here it is:

--- --- --- --- ---
| 3 | | 1 | | 3 | | 5 | | 4 |
--- --- --- --- ---

Now, you can either hold:

2 Three's (Three of a kind, Full House, Four and Five of a kind)
3,4,5 (Straight)
2 Three's and another die (Three of a kind, Full House)

I would take the top option, as it has the best chances. However, a straight
is possible because you need a 1,2 or a 2,6. The bottom option may seem
good, since you only need 1 more 3, or 1-2 more of the other die, but i'd
prefer the others.

Author's Note: This tips section isn't very good, since I haven't really
SEEN any strategies on this game. However, if you think that you have some,
e-mail me them.

-.- Slot Machine: Easy Money -.-

There really isn't much to winning money at the slots. However there are
good and bad points:

Good:
Sure Way Of Making Tokens
Requires No Skill At All

Bad:
Tokens PROFITED is only around 100-200 per "run"
Requires around 5000 Tokens to play "comfortably"

Now, if you still want toplay, simply feed it 25 tokens every time,
especially if the jackpot is high when you visit. Fun, isn't it?

10. Hangman Word Lists
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

Especially if you are in your first week, the executioner's square is a good
place to make money (if you know all the answers), since it's easy and
quick. You'll need to play it alot if you want to be good in your first
week, so i'd suggest playing long and often. This is a simple, but effective
list of the hints and their answers (in the order they appear, hopefully).

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

Please note: You may only use up to *6* hacks per day.

If you know what they do mostly, but just forgot what one does what, check
out the chart. If you are new, you may want to skip to the descriptions
section.

-.- Chart -.-

Hack 1 [10 bytes] Resets battle stats (wins/losses/%) to 0.
Hack 2 [10 bytes] Resets alignment to 0
Hack 3 [20 bytes] Restores confidence (Battles)
Hack 4 [30 bytes] Lets you attack anyone, regardless of level.
Hack 5 [10 bytes] Fishing Endurance Restored.
Hack 6 [10 bytes] 'smell like ass' (cannot be attacked)
Hack 7 [10 bytes] Reverse Alignment (evil to good, or good to evil)
Hack 8 [10 bytes] Silent Kill (Aliens you kill don't know it's you)
Hack 9 [20 bytes] Restores trainer confidence (Battle sims)
Hack 10 [10 bytes] Free PI's
Hack 11 [10 bytes] Rid the effects of 'smell like ass' on yourself.
Hack 12 [10 bytes] Attack those that 'smell like ass'.
Hack 13 [10 bytes] Heal gym injuries.

Note: All effects expire after one day \ use.

-.- Descriptions -.-

Hack 1: Reset Battle Stats
Cost: 10 Bytes
Effect: Your battle stats (wins\losses\stalemates\total) win % are reset to
(0\0\0\0) 0%

Hack 2: Reset alignment to 0
Cost: 10 bytes
Effect: Resets your alignment, whether it's good (EG: 4,000) or evil (EG:
-2,546) to 0 (Neutral).

Hack 3: Restore confidence (Battles)
Cost: 20 Bytes
Effect: Your confidence is restored. If your maximum confidence is 5, you
get 5 more. If it's 50, you get 50 more.

Hack 4: Attack any level till reset
Cost: 30 Bytes
Effect: You can only attack those 10 levels below you, but with this hack,
you can attack those 50 levels below you, or even more!

Hack 5: Fishing Endurance Reset
Cost: 10 bytes
Effect: With this, you get your 25 fishing endurance back. Fun if you like
to fish, or if you're a high level enough to make money off this.

Hack 6: 'smell like ass'
Cost: 10 bytes
Effect: This hack is pretty nifty. With this, you cannot be attacked by
anyone until reset, but you can still use your battles on anyone. Note there
is ONE way to be attacked even if you use this hack (see hack 12)

Hack 7: Reverse Alignment
Cost: 10 bytes
Effect: Pretty self-explanatory. Use this hack and your alignment goes from
evil (-####) to good (####) if you are evil, or good (####) to evil (-####)
if you are good.

Hack 8: Silent Kills
Cost: 10 bytes
Effect: When you attack someone, your name doesn't appear in their news.
Good if you want to kill someone alot without them knowing.

Hack 9: Trainer Confidence Reset
Cost: 20 bytes
Effect: Just like hack 3, only with your training sims. Again, whether you
have 15 or up to 25 trains, you get them all back.

Hack 10: Free PIs
Cost: 10 bytes
Effect: Again, pretty simple. Use this hack and you can PI anyone that day
for free.

Hack 11: Cancel effects of 'smell like ass'
Cost: 10 bytes
Effect: If you use hack 6 on yourself and don't want it the remainder of the
day, use this hack to negate it.

Hack 12: Attack those that 'smell like ass'
Cost: 10 bytes
Effect: Self explanatory.

Hack 13: Heal Gym Injuries
Cost: 10 bytes
Effect: If you injure yourself in the gym, this hack will reduce the days
needed to heal to 0.

-.- Things Alignment Does -.-

At the moment, not much. As of now you can only do 4 things with alignment:

1) Get an evil aura at Stan's Boutique(-100k alignment)
2) Get a holy aura at Stan's (100k alignment)
3) Get evil wings at Stan's (-500k alignment)
4) Get holy wings at Stan's (500k alignment)

Q. I just started and badly need marks for the gym!

A. Go to the housing complex and search the rooms for marks. You can find
them there in one room once a day. If you dont get 10 on your first day,
then go to earn stuff, get the instant bytes, and sell 1 byte for about
25,000 credits. This is enough to buy WAY more then 10 marks (about 60), and
will easily get you into the gym on your first day.

A. As of September 27th, 2001 they are not in the game.
