Rocks Unleashed 2 is distributed as SHAREWARE. Under this concept you may use the SHAREWARE (unregistered) version for a reasonable period of time,which I consider to be four weeks, after which you must either purchase your copy or discontinue usage.
 

Registration

With the full version you will receive the registered copy of Rocks Unleashed 2 and you will also receive any support the author can give in reference to bugs or other problems that may arise in using the game.
The full version removes the 15 wave (level) limitation and increases the waves to 99.

Introduction & How To Play

Rocks Unleashed 2 is a space shooting game, with a interesting twist. Asteroids appear slowly at first. The longer you survive, the more appear.Be careful how long a collision occurs. The longer the collision with your ship, the more lethal and loss of health.This version also employs more rocks and different frequencies of them.

Right and left arrow keys to move , and the up arrow key to use your ships thrusters.
Spacebar fires your lethal missiles.
Joystick - left and right, firebutton to shoot.
Your F10 key gives you a screenshot in BMP format.
Use the P key to pause, followed by the C key to continue.
Press your Esc key at anytime during game play to end the game.

Oh... one more thing... be careful of the explosions.. get too close and you loose health!

When your health reaches 0, (depending on your score), you can then
enter your name into the HighScore list.
HINT: There are a few surprises in this version. Good luck in finding them :-)
 

Installation and Setup

Create a directory called rock25 or any other name you wish. Unzip the archive into it. Make sure you have a SoundBlaster compatible sound card, or the game will not run. You will also need to be sure that your computer is at least a 486 with PCI or vesa video with a SVGA monitor. You will need a minimum of 16 meg of ram (DOS 6.22).

Do not attempt to run under Windows 3.x as it won't work!! It will run on Win 95 and 98. However, should you choose to run the game in a Win95/98 environment, make sure you have at least 20 meg ram. Mind you, the game doesn't look as nice as in Dos, but your hardware is probably better than mine. I do recommend pure Dos though. Due to the way Windows ME/2000/NT and XP operate, it is unlikely that this game will run under these environments. If you are a techy, you will probably manage it, but I can't promise how the game will react or how your system will respond. I don't have these operating systems and therefore cannot test the game. Consider yourself warned.

Dos 6.22 , 486 ,16mb ram, 512k Vesa/PCI video card, mouse,soundblaster compatible,speakers. Joystick optional.
