This fourth version uses the latest production techniques and it's almost completely new aircraft, about 95% of all parts are new. I started to design this v.4.0 model in December 1999. This aircraft is made by using AF99 and SCASM. I didn't use any new production tools like FSDS because I started this project so early - so most likely this aircraft model will be quite old in few months when the first good FSDS models are released... In my mind, this is only an average quality design - as AF99 didn't allow me to add all the features I wanted and Aircraft Animator caused also some restrictions. This aircraft has full night lightning. On nighttime cabin windows and tail will be automatically illuminated. Fuselage landing light beams can be turned on by pressing L. Aircraft has also special FS2000 landing light beams and strobe / nav light effects - one of the first add-on aircraft to feature these! During takeoff it's highly recommended to trim up a little bit to improve the takeoff distance. Use also flap setting 1 or 2 at takeoff. The flight model of v.4.0 A320s is based on the v.3.0 flight model. It has been modified and improved for FS2000 by Steve Small from Flightsim Developers. As before, my A320 series models are also available for non-commercial virtual airlines. Any VA who's interested can have more information from me via e-mail.
