Interface Improvement

Aetiket Label Printer 2.5.1 is a minor update from 2.5.

The Label Type and Default Label Type menus were changed to lists to make it more obvious to users that they are pop-up lists. The scroll bar should also make finding the desired label type easier.

The Excel sample file was given the proper extension (.xls).
The documentation was updated, and other modifications were made.

Name Changes

In this update I changed the name of the software from "Label Printer" to "Aetiket Label Printer" to further distinguish the software and make it more accessible to my European customers. Consequently, many of the filenames have been changed as well:

Labelpri.fp3 became Aetiket.fp3
Labeldef.fp3 became Define.fp3
Labelhlp.fp3 became Contacts.fp3
Labelreg.fp3 became Feedback.fp3

New files were added, including an Excel help file, and html help and information. Click here for more information on the files included with Aetiket Label Printer.

New Features

Registered users can now take advantage of the following two features:

  • The default font and paragraph formatting of a label can now be changed.
  • The print layout can now be tweaked (changing the lead, spacing, etc.) to improve the printing on printers.

Better Printer Support

The print layouts were completely revised and Aetiket Label Printer now supports two printers directly. Registered users can also access the print layouts to optimize the printing with all printers. The ink jet labels were optimized for Hewlett-Packard Ink jet printers and the laser labels were optimized for Apple Postscript Laser Printers.
